Third POV

4 Years Later

Ziggy sat down on her couch stroking Major Tom as he slept on her lap. Her attention was on the tv that was airing Maya becoming the newest Sheriff of Police. Ziggy watched as the pervious Sheriff continued his retirement speech. Once he finished and called for Maya to come up stage the camera changed to now showing the Police Officers clapping and Maya standing up. Before she leaves the officer sitting beside her stands up and the two hug. Once they pull apart Ziggy recognizes the officer as Nick Goode.

Nick hasn't changed much since the four years that have passed. The only difference is he is now taller but he still has the same hairstyle from the last time she saw him. Maya receives a pat on the shoulder by Nick.

As Maya walks up the stage Ziggy notices that Maya has grown slightly taller as well but other than that she still looked like the same Maya that she saw 4 years ago before Ziggy broke up with her. Allison was sitting on stage besides Nick's wife, Amelia who smiles proudly at Maya clapping her hands. Allison gets up from her seat to hug Maya. The camera zooms in on them hugging and Ziggy could see Allison crying as the two hugged. Maya whispers something in Allison's ear before the two pull apart and she wipes Allison tears she kisses Maya's cheek before she walks back to her seat. Maya shook hands with the pervious Sheriff he then walks away and sits down in one of the empty chairs that's on the stage.

It took 4 years for Maya to become not just the newest Sheriff but the youngest Sheriff at the age of 22 years old. She followed in her dad's footsteps just like he wanted her to do and is now Sheriff like he was before he passed away.

The crowd continues clapping in congratulations for Maya who smiles in appreciation.

Once the crowd calms down Maya begins her speech, "Before my father passed away, he told me to continue on his legacy and so I did by joining the force and now I stand here before you all as the Sheriff just like he was before. I hope I can live up to be an amazing Sheriff like he was who kept the citizens and town safe. I promise that I'll protect this town with my life." Maya pauses as the crowd claps.

"I'll like to thank my mom for supporting me and for being a fantastic mother. I know I wasn't the easiest kid to deal with." Maya jokingly says in the end, and you can see Allison in the background laughing.

Maya continues her speech, "In all seriousness thank you, mom for being there for me through my highest to my lowest, and for being supportive of me. I love you mom." Maya turns to face Allison in the end of her speech Allison mouths 'I love you too'.

Maya turns back facing the crowd again, "Secondly, I'll like to thank my cousin, Nick Goode. Nick your not just my cousin but the brother I never had we been through hell and back since we were kids to when we joined the Police Force and we still do to this day. We always had each other back and I can never thank you enough for being there for me." Maya says smiling, "And lastly I'll like to thank a friend of mine who I'm sure is watching this. I honestly think there is no words to describe this person and the effect they'd left in my life so I'll just say this thank you for entering my life you changed my life in ways I can never explain and for that I'm thankful and I just want you to remember that you are worth everything. Thank you everyone." Maya finishes and everyone stand up clapping as Allison hugs Maya who hugs her back soon Nick and Amelia join the hug.

Ziggy turns off the tv and sets the remote on the table were their laid a party invitation she picks up the party invite and stares at the party invitation card. It was a invite to Maya's celebration party. She knew that it was Maya who send her the invite because she was there with Cindy when Allison dropped by Cindy's house to give her the party invite and mentioned that Maya was driving to Ziggy house to invite her to the party.

Flashback

"Thank you for the invitation, Allison." Cindy said and shuts the door and faces Ziggy a mischievous smirk on Cindy's face

"So-"

"Nope let me stop you right there. I know what you're going to say and the answer is no." Ziggy says wanting to end this discussion. Ziggy walks away goes upstairs peeks in her niece room and sees she's still asleep in her crib.

"I saw the way you looked when Allison said Maya's name it's the same look you always had 4 years ago whenever you saw or heard her name. It's been 4 years since you last seen her and it's obvious the love you have for Maya hasn't gone away at all you're still in love with her and she's still loves you too, Ziggy. She asks how you are whenever I visit her." Cindy said hoping to knock some sense into Ziggy.

Ziggy turns around looking conflicted.

I'm not forcing you to go but at least think about it." Cindy pleads, "Okay I'll think about it." Ziggy replied making Cindy smile all she wants is for Ziggy to be truly happy and the only person who can do that is Maya.

Flashback Ends

Ziggy sighs and sets the invite back on the table she told Cindy earlier in the day that she wasn't going much to Cindy disappoint but Cindy didn't push her sister to go instead she respected her decision.

"Let's take you to bed Major." Ziggy said as she picks him up from her lap and lays him in his bed that is in the kitchen. She goes upstairs and gets ready for bed. Ziggy turns the bathroom light off and goes to lay down on her bed. She turns off the nightstand lamp and closes her eyes drifting her to sleep.

Ziggy is woken up by something hitting her window. She realizes that someone is throwing pebbles at her window. She gets up and looks at the clock to see it's 12 A.M. in the morning.

"I swear I'm going to kill this person." Ziggy grumbles as she walks towards her window and opens her window and is shocked to see Maya outside her house.

"Maya what are you doing here throwing pebbles at my window?" Ziggy whisper-yelled not wanting to wake up the neighbors, "Come outside I need to talk to you, please." Maya pleads Ziggy sighs knowing that if she says no Maya would stubbornly continue throwing pebbles or stop and wait outside her house till she comes out to talk to her and the last thing she wants is too draw attention by her neighbors seeing the new Sheriff outside her house.

Ziggy nods and closes the window Maya grins and drops the pebble and runs to the front door waiting for Ziggy to open the door.

Ziggy opens the door and greets Maya with an unreadable expression that makes Maya feel nervous. This is the first time Ziggy and Maya have seen each other since Ziggy broke up with her four years ago. Ziggy stares at Maya and see she's still wearing her Police uniform that now has the Sheriff badge.

"Congratulations on becoming Sheriff." Ziggy tells her breaking the silence making Maya smile, "Thanks... I was hoping you'll show up for the party." Maya tells her nervous what Ziggy's reaction will be.

"Maya thank you for the invite, but I was never planning on going." Ziggy bluntly tells her and Maya frowns she knew there was a low chance that Ziggy would come but Maya still had hope that she would come with Cindy and her family.

"At least I know that you were watching me become Sheriff on tv." Maya says Ziggy opens her mouth to lie but Maya interrupts her, "And don't try denying it Cindy told me that you were planning on watching the ceremony. Which means you heard the ending of my speech." Maya smirked in victory at Ziggy flushed cheeks, "Is that why you came here for, Maya? To gloat that I watched you on tv. Because yes I did watch you become Sheriff." Ziggy exclaimed

Maya was taken back by Ziggy response. Maybe Andrew was right when he told her not to come to Ziggy house late at night but she couldn't help it. She needs to say what she's been wanting to say since Ziggy broke up with her.

"I just wanted you to know that what I said in my speech is true and there's more that I wanted to say but couldn't because it's best to say in person." Maya tells her.

"May-"

Maya stops her by grabbing her wrist and pulling her sleeves up to reveal a handmade bracelet that she made and gave to Ziggy in their first year anniversary. It was the exact same bracelet Maya wore now so they could match.

"You still wear it." Maya asked a small smile on her voice, "It was a gift I wasn't going to throw it away. Now wipe that smile off you're face." Ziggy replied as Maya let's go of her wrist.

Maya chuckles, "You know, when you and I were together, every single atom in my body told me that it was the right thing, that we were a perfect fit. And that kind of love, it can change your whole life. And then when somebody who made you feel that way suddenly stops, the vacuum is just..." Maya pauses and intertwined their hands, "I love you... I've always loved you from the moment I first laid eyes on you... and I will do until my dying day. I will always, always, always... love you. So badly that it hurts."

Ziggy stares at Maya in shock.

"I miss you being a part of my life, Ziggy. If we can't be together then can we just be friends again." Maya pleads letting go of Ziggy hands and strokes her cheek with her thumb

Instead of answering Maya with words Ziggy grabs Maya collar and kisses her with everything she had pouring all the love she kept for Maya in these past 4 years. Ziggy pulls away and sees the bewildered look on Maya's face not expecting Ziggy to kiss her. Maya shakes it off and wraps her arms around Ziggy waist and brings her in for another kiss that Ziggy accepts. Ziggy walks backwards into her house and Maya shuts the door behind her. She pulls away to lock the door and brings her lips back to Ziggy. Ziggy tangles her fingers in Maya's hair as the kiss starts becoming more intense. Maya lifts Ziggy off the ground and she wraps her legs around Maya who carries her upstairs to her room and laid Ziggy in her bed. She gets on top of Ziggy and plants a kiss on Ziggy lips, who can't help but smile.

Ziggy missed this so much the feeling of Maya's hands trailing down her body before they stopped at the bottom of Ziggy shirt. Ziggy flips them were now Maya laid on bed and Ziggy straddles Maya's lapis on top. Ziggy lips trailed down Maya's neck making sure to suck and leave a purple mark just above her collarbone.

Ziggy pulls away and the two stare at each other the only sound that is heard is the sound of their hearts beating rapidly.

Ziggy cups Maya's cheeks and rests her forehead on Maya's.

"I love you, Maya... I never stopped loving you. "I loved you then, I love you now, and I will love you later."

Maya's lips we're back on Ziggy as her hands grab Ziggy waist while Ziggy caress the sides of Maya's face. Maya and Ziggy removed each other's clothes and made love to each other after not seeing each other for 4 years. No matter how long time has gone by the love they have for each other never went away.

Happy One Year Anniversary to Stranger Things Season 4! It was a great season that left me emotionally broken😭
I was gonna add more to the chapter cause I was gonna do another time skip in this chapter since I had a idea but decided not to cause the chapter will be even longer. So the next chapter will be a 5 year timeskip and then onto Part 3. Next chapter won't be out till next month cause I wanna make it a emotional chapter for what I have planned for three characters.
