Third POV

"Thanks for letting me stay the night here, Allison." Ziggy said as they sat on the couch, "Your always welcome here, Ziggy plus it's good to have company here with Maya and Nick now in the Police Academy it gets lonely being here." Allison tells her.

It has been two months since Maya and Nick have joined the Police Academy but to Ziggy and Allison it feels like a lifetime. They both missed Maya and Nick though Ziggy would not admit but she did miss Nick. Since the two were gone Allison would frequently come over to the Berman House and spend time with Ziggy and Cindy but with Ziggy more since Cindy had a job but when she had off days it would be the three-spending time together.

"Do you think tonight Andrew is actually going to propose to Cindy?" Allison asked curious. It came as a shock to Ziggy when Cindy told her she is in a relationship with an internship doctor that she met when she was in the hospital. The two stayed in contact even when Cindy was released from the hospital. Cindy did not tell Ziggy because she wanted to make sure her and Andrew relationship was heading somewhere so she could tell Ziggy and also introduce Andrew to Ziggy. He even met Allison and Maya, the two plus Ziggy threatened him that if he hurt Cindy, he would regret it. Ziggy will admit at first, she was skeptical of Andrew, but she could see how happy he made Cindy, so she gave him a chance and as she got to know him more, she viewed him as a brother. Ziggy remembered when he asked for her blessing to propose to Cindy, and she said yes. Andrew even asked for Allison and Maya blessing as well knowing how much Cindy cares for the two.

"Well, the past two times he couldn't because something always happened before he could but since the two are having dinner at the house with no distractions, I think tonight the night." Ziggy told her the two expected Cindy to either call them tonight after he proposes or the next day.

Ziggy looks at the wedding photo of Allison and her husband. Ziggy never asked about Maya's dad nor did Maya mention him except for the one time they played 21 questions. She knew it was a sensitive topic, so she never did bring him up.

"You and Maya remind me so much of myself and Rick when we first started dating." Allison blurted out. Whenever she saw Ziggy and Maya together Allison was reminded of hers and Rick relationship when they first started dating how innocent their relationship was before he told her the truth.

"Really?" Ziggy asked in disbelief, "I'm a Shadysider and Maya's a Sunnyvaler I don't see how Maya and I remind you of Rick and yourself."

"Well one of the reasons is because the Goode's have a thing for falling for Shadysiders." Allison revealed Ziggy eyes widened in shock at what Allison said, "Wa- wait are you a-"

Allison nodded, "I'm a Shadysider. I was born in Shadyside but raised in Sunnyvale."

Ziggy was dumbfounded at this unexpected news that Allison told her.

"My dad was from Sunnyvale and my mom was from Shadyside the two met in Camp NightWing and became friends that led to the two dating but the two kept their relationship a secret it wasn't until my mom found out that she was pregnant with me that the two had no choice but to reveal they are dating." Allison tells Ziggy.

"I'm guessing your dad's parents didn't take the news well since you were born in Shadyside not Sunnyvale." Ziggy said and Allison solemnly nodded, "My dad's parents disowned and kicked him out of the house and he went to live with my mom's family they accepted him into the family and were supportive of my parents. It wasn't until my great grandmother died that my dad was told she left him money in her Will it was plenty of money for them to leave Shadyside and move to Sunnyvale and so I was raised in Sunnyvale but despite being raised in Sunnyvale I still felt like a Shadysider, and I didn't mind because that was where I came from."

"Did you tell Maya's dad? Does Maya know?" Ziggy asked still in awe that Allison is a Shadysider.

"I told Rick once are relationship became serious as for Maya well, she doesn't know but I do plan on telling her." Allison says, "Why tell me first instead of telling Maya?" Ziggy asked bewildered why Allison would tell her first and not Maya her daughter.

"Well one you asked me how you and Maya remind me of myself and Rick." Allison jokingly replied making Ziggy chuckle, "And two because I trust you after all you are family." Allison says smiling and Ziggy looks down fighting back a smile. She loved it whenever Allison would tell her she is family. It reminded her of what a parent's love felt like something she had not felt in a long time and also how supportive Allison is of Maya and Ziggy dating.

Allison saw the parallels of Maya and Ziggy relationship had with her and Rick when they first started dating. Maya falling for a Shadysider, saving Ziggy from danger, and Ziggy acknowledging her feelings for Maya. It was like rewatching history repeating itself expect the only difference is she sees the two having a happy ending unlike her and Rick. For Allison does not see Maya changing and becoming a different person like Rick did.

She saw how power changed Rick that she no longer saw the sweet, innocent boy that she fell in loved with that person no longer existed the moment she was told the truth. Maya reminded Allison of how Rick was before he changed the only difference is Maya is stubborn something she inherited from her not Rick.

"Is that the only reason why Maya and I remind you of Rick and yourself relationship?" Ziggy asked curious, "Another reason is they tend to save the people they love from death."

Ziggy no longer looked at Allison in shock but in sympathy realizing what Allison meant.

Ziggy hugs Allison, "I'm so sorry. You don't have to tell me." Ziggy says knowing how difficult it is to talk about. Ziggy still did not find it easy to talk about how she died and was brought back to life. But who could blame her because who wants to talk about how you were murdered by a dead Shadyside serial killer and then brought back to life. Even though Ziggy loved Maya deeply she still found it hard to talk about Camp NightWing and the nightmares she still has of Tommy and the past Shadyside killers thankfully Maya does not pressure her to talk about them but instead waits for Ziggy to tell her.

"It's fine." Allison assures her as she pulls away, "One of the reasons why I came to the hospital wasn't just because to see Cindy and check on you but also I wanted to tell you that I relate to what you're going through but decided not to tell you thinking it was best that I earned you're trust and the two of us getting to know each other." Allison explains and Ziggy smiles assuring her she understands.

Allison smiled and looks at a photo of her and Rick when they were teenagers, "Rick and I were visiting my aunt and my cousins that lived in New York. My aunt had to work leaving Rick, my two cousins, and myself in the house. Rick and my older cousin decided to go out leaving me and my cousin alone. It was close to midnight, and they still were not back I was getting tired of waiting up for them, so I decided to go to sleep but just as I'm closing my eyes, I hear the front door being banged loudly that's when I realized an intruder was trying to break in. I ran out of my room and to my cousin's room. I woke her up and quietly told her what was happening. I told her to hide in the closet while I try to call the police but before I could reach for the phone, I hear footsteps coming our way. I knew I was not going to have time to call the police nor hide in the closet, so I hid under the bed. The door opened and I could see the intruder walk around the room hearing the intruder open drawers trying to find something valuable but nothing just as I thought the intruder was going to leave, he turns his attention to the closet and walks towards there and opens the closet..." Allison pauses closing her eyes as Ziggy places her hand on top of Allison comforting her saying 'take your time'

"The intruder opened the closet and saw her hiding. I could see the tears in her eyes as she shook in fear. Before she could plead for her life, she was stabbed in the stomach again. I closed my eyes trying to block the sound of her cries as the knife hit her flesh repeatedly being stabbed over and over. Once I did not hear the sound of her cries, I opened my eyes and saw her laying on the floor dead, a pool of her blood surrounding her. I covered my mouth trying to muffle my cries at the sight of my cousin dead. I saw the intruder's footsteps walk towards the door and hear the door open and close. I stayed understand the bed just in case the killer came back. After a minute I crawled out of under the bed and to the closet to check on my cousin. I refused to believe she was dead, so I did CPR. I was so focused on trying to bring my cousin back that I did not hear the door open and the footsteps approaching me it wasn't till I felt someone hand on my shoulder that I looked up and was greeted by the killer that turned out to be a man. Before I knew it, I felt intense pain in my stomach, and I looked down to see a knife plunged into my stomach. He kept repeatedly stabbing me over and over until he stopped, and I fell down laying on the floor beside my cousin staring into her lifeless eyes. I tried to keep my eyes open, but I failed and closed my eyes and then I was awake, I heard sirens around me, blue and red lights. I lifted my head up and saw Rick with my older cousin the two talking to a police officer. Rick noticed that I was awake and rushed towards me and was happy to see I'm alive. I was told that Rick found me and did CPR and somehow, I came back to life."

Ziggy flashbacks to the night of the Massacre when she first woke because of Maya, reawaking up to the sounds of sirens, blue and red lights, seeing Maya with Nick sitting in the back of an ambulance, and Maya assuring her that Cindy is alive.

"I don't know what I've done if I lost Cindy If it wasn't for Maya not continuing CPR on Cindy, then I would've lost her forever." Ziggy said not wanting to imagine a world where she did lose her sister.

"Thanks to Maya that didn't happen. Cindy is alive and with you." Allison muttered wanting to tell Ziggy the truth of everything, but it was not her place too.

Finally updated!!! I been busy but now I'm back I'm halfway done with the next chapter it maybe be updated this week or in the end of the month. It will be a four year timeskip chapter.
