Chapter Twenty-One

Twilight's POV
I was just tucking Luna into bed when guards burst through the door. "Princess Twilight! You need to come with us. It's your sister." That was all I needed to hear.
"Take me to her now," I demanded.
"Of course," one said.
"Steve!" I called for my husband.
"What is it?" he called back.
"Watch Luna. I have matters to deal with." His head popped out from our bedroom.
"Skyler?"
"You guessed it," I said. I gave Steve a quick kiss and the guards led me to the teleport room.

The Day Kingdom?
That was all I could process as I stepped out of the teleporting machine. But as I walked around more, I knew why. My parents, Jessica and Skyler were all standing by each other. Jessica was laughing and my parents crying. I ran over to them. "What's the matter?!" I shouted.
"Skyler!" was all my mother managed to say before my sister started to lift into the air.
Her chocolate brown hair started to melt to a golden blonde and her bright blue started to change to a light brown. The tan in her skinned paled to as light as Jessica's. I gasped. "The transformation!" I screamed. I knew all about it, but never in a million years did I think it would happen to my family. Finally, Skyler floated back down.
Jessica did a little dance and squealed. "Skyler! How do you feel?" Jessica asked.
"Who's Skyler?" she asked. Jessica smiled.
"Oh, silly me! I forgot, your name is Destiny!"
"That sounds right," Skyler said. She turned towards us. "What are these petty Night Kingdom people doing here?"
"Skyler, what are you talking about? It's me, Twilight, your sister," I tried to explain to her, a begging tone to my voice as I tried to get her to remember.
"I don't have a sister, especially not one from the Night Kingdom," she sneered. I held back a cry. She didn't remember. She never would. The transformation was permanent. Except for one thing.
"Mom! Dad! We can still get Skyler back. She has to be reminded about something in the Night Kingdom that she truly cares about - besides family," I said. "But I just don't know who."
"Then it's hopeless!" mother said, starting to cry. Me and my parents sat there crying and watched as Jessica and Skyler laughed, thinking all was lost.
But little did we know, it wasn't.
