Vernon POV

"Wake up Vernon," Wonwoo tackles me, waking me from my peaceful sleep.

"Hyung!"

I get up from my sleeping position and slowly sit up.

Wonwoo gets off of me and glares at me.
"How can you just let Chan wander off?!"

"What?! He was in the kitchen like...," I pull out my phone and press the home button, "Shit... three hours ago."

I quickly get up and run to the bathroom to wash my face and I grab my shades and cap and run out the door.

Aw man, now i'm in so much trouble. Dino, why would you do this to me?!

Now where would he be on this sunny day?

I walk to Green Cafe, a place where Dino and I often go to get boba.

I look around the room to find no one. Quickly, I walk out of the shop and look around the town to see where Dino would go next.

The library.

Dino POV

"Im sorry noona, but I really can't help you. I should go too, Wonwoo hyung will be mad if he knows i'm talking to you," I explain politely although I am slight annoyed by Jisoo's constant nagging about helping her get Jeonghan and Seungcheol to break up.

"Who cares about Wonwoo? Please Dino," Jisoo begs,"if they stay togeth--"

"Dino!" Someone shouts interrupting Jisoo's speech.

I turn around.

"Aw come on, not again. Hansol hyung, stop following me. I'm okay," I surrender my arms,"See, I'm just fine."

Hansol sighs. "I thought I lost you. I would have gotten in so much trouble. C'mon let's go. Jeonghan is preparing dinner."

"Jeonghan?" Jisoo perks up.

I turn back around to face Jisoo. "Sorry Jisoo noona, I can't help you. I'll be leaving now. Bye."

"Wait, im coming with you guys," Jisoo says and stands up from the couch.

"Uhh... no you're not." Vernon says with his eyes wide open. Vernon grabs my hand and pushes me behind him.

The heck, hyung... this aight no drama. I'm a guy too.

Jisoo looks at Hansol sweetly batting her eyelashes.

"Um... yes I am."

Vernon glares at Jisoo. "If you step foot on Seventeen property..." Then Vernon whispers something into Jisoo's ears causing her face to flush red and she slaps Vernon across the face.(A/N: Mansae Mansae yeah)

People turn around to see what has happened but only find Vernon smiling out of victory and leads me out of the library.

"What did you say to her?" I ask curious as to how Jisoo got so triggered by what Vernon says.

"Oh nothing, just stuff."

"You know something about her that no one knows, huh?"

Vernon just smiles. "I don't know maybe."

We approach the dorm and Wonwoo runs over.

"Holy shit, thank god. What the heck happened?!"

"We ran into Jisoo." 

Wonwoo's face goes from surprised to not caring at all.

"Oh I see."

He walks away.

"So what do you think, aren't I boyfriend material," Vernon asks me with a wink.

I pretend to choke. "I'm just going to go pack for the trip now."

I walk away to my room and before I close the door I hear Vernon shout and laugh, "Admit it, Chan. I am. No one can make a better knight in shining armor than me." 

I slam the door close and sigh.

Somehow I smile at his comment.
