if you give a character a hobby or two, it's a) realistic, b) a defining/memorable trait that contributes to how well developed your oc is, and c) is more fun to write!

- fashion (they got big dreams n a low budget)

- visual arts

- singing

get as specific as you want! it'd be cool to see an oc with like a very specific skill that makes them infamous around derry and maybe even gives them a nickname, and contributes to their plot!

just remember to keep it accurate to the time period (before internet!)
