welcome to my TEDtalk, where i educate you on the proper way to "age up" a character.

on wattpad, tons of stories include aged up au's about the losers, which is totally fine! but a common problem is that they still use the same faceclaim ?? this is a big no and here's why:

aging up a character should include using an aged up faceclaim! example: tom holland as teen eddie or ezra miller as teen richie.

people seem to think they can say one of the losers is 18 but still use an underage faceclaim and that's not okay! just bc you "age up" the character doesn't mean you automatically age up the actor as well.

also pairing an underage actor with a legal adult is ugly and needs to stop on this site. don't get me wrong, using an older person is fine IF you only use gifs from when they're underage and specify in your cast that they are young! whoever. but using gifs of when they're 18 and older is not excusable.
