Miss Park had bags under her eyes. She hadn't been sleeping well... Of course. "You're not expelled." She gave the redhead a soft smile, "But I do need to warn you. Another commotion, and I won't be able to help you again."
Lola wasn't so sure why she helped in the first place. It made her think back to what Jungkook told her. How Namjoon was good at manipulating Miss Park. Why was he good at it? And why did he do it, anyways? Was Namjoon the reason she wasn't expelled? Lola nodded, "I understand." Clearing her throat. "I can assure you, it was a one time thing. Anger came over me, but I promise it won't happen again."
"I'm sure I can trust you." Miss Park then gestured at the door, allowing Lola to leave her office.
On her way out, she spotted a face she hadn't seen in a while. His dimples weren't so prominent, though his fox-eyes expression was always a given. Namjoon noticed her too, the same eyes immediately widening into round, sparkling globes. "H-hi!"
Fuck. He scorned internally. Why I gotta stutter?
Wanting to take advantage of his unusually energetic form, "Hi!" Lola sang back. It felt as though the ice between them was starting to melt. Or maybe that's just what Lola wanted.
"Got expelled?" Namjoon stopped in his tracks, looking down at the ginger she once despised. Nowadays, he wasn't sure what he felt, though it wasn't hatred. That's for sure.
Lola shook her head. "No. Why?"
He shrugged back at her. "Just curious." scratching the back of his neck. There they were. Those dimples. They were back on now. Lola liked seeing him smile. It suited him. "Jk's back at the dorm, f'you care."
"I don't." She was stern in the way she answered.
Immediately, all the charm Namjoon elicited was gone in seconds. He scorned, finding it unfair to see his friend get treated poorly. Completely undermining Lola's feelings. "So y'all really broke up? Over a damn kiss?"
"Yes...?" She cocked a brow. It was always back to bickering with these two. "I know you don't really care for girls' feelings, which is why you keep cheating on Emma,-" the reminder had made Namjoon clench his jaw tightly. "but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. Your friend broke my heart. Maybe keep him accountable, for once." And thus, she bumped past him.
Sighing, Namjoon brushed it off and made his way to Miss Park's office. Down the end of the hall, Lola came to a halt. What's he doing here again? Lola was curious. How did he manipulate Miss Park. A soft smirk creeping onto her face, she turned on her heels and made her way back to the Principal's office. Only this time, she pressed her ear against the door, and listened. Namjoon's voice, muffled and vague, spoke: "Thanks... For not getting her expelled." Lola's brows drew closer. So he did help Lola... But why?
Inside her office, Miss Park shrugged. "It's what I always do." She ripped her glasses off her face and set them on her desk, which she then leaned against with a deep sigh. "Something I'll always do... For you."
"Yeah, 'bout that." Namjoon pointed. He was standing by the door, still. Eyes locked on hers. "Maybe we should stop this, y'know, for a lil' while."
"Right." Miss Park nodded in response, hands crossed in front of her chest, scoffing hysterically. "Wouldn't want a hag around you at all times..."
He clicked his tongue. He knew the conversation with Emma would've backfired this way. Don't get it twisted, Namjoon wasn't lying. He couldn't care less about Miss Park, though dropping her meant dropping his friends. If he doesn't have his principal wrapped around his finger, she'd get Jungkook expelled in a heart-beat. Especially with what he did to Charlie. He took large steps towards her, hands on her hips, lips pressed against the shell of her ear. "You know that ain't the truth." He had to whisper sweet lies on her ear. "I just said that to convince Emma. I swear."
Outside the door, Lola's frustrated expression was on lock. She couldn't hear anything. What were they doing? What did Miss Park mean by 'hag'?
There was nothing to listen to, so she shrugged and stormed back down the hall. Though, if only Lola stayed for just a second longer, she would've heard the erotic moan leaving Miss Park's lips through the door.

"Are you even allowed to be here?" Margot pulled one of the chairs back, watching as Jungkook plopped him down sloppily on the chair next to her. The library called for quiet and peace, which Jungkook sheltered none of at the moment.
He clicked his tongue, "Y'all actin' like I actually killed someone." and leaned forward, placing his elbows on the table. "'Course I can be here. Can we start with the fuckin' plan?"
Nodding, "Alright." Margot pulled out her phone. She had to shush him every now and then, pinching his fingers when he started tapping them against the surface of the table. Yawning left, sighing right, Jungkook was completely hell to work with. "Can you focus?" She whispered in a yell.
"Aight, damn." He scorned back at her, rolling his eyes. "I thought you was gon' come up with a plan to help me get Lo back... Not a plan to turn me into a clown." He snatched her phone out of her hands before scrolling through her notes: "Balloons that spell 'I'm sorry', candles, fuzzy blanket, pillows? I mean, the fuck're we gon' do? Fuck out 'n about?"
On second thought, he didn't hate the idea. It's not like they haven't done it before, only, that was inside the car. Jungkook didn't hate the idea of a little fresh air. Margot had to practically smack the smirk off his face. "Focus." She snapped. "And besides, you're already a clown for what you did to her? This, on the other hand-" pointing at her phone screen, "is romance."
"I know what romance is, aight?" The tattooed boy claimed with immense sass. "Watched every fuckin' rom-com in the world. All women want is a funny dude that can make 'em laugh, and one that can make 'em squirt. I can do both." He shrugged.
She rolled her eyes. The library had started to get crowdy. It was just the hour for it. Sleep deprived students walking in to pull yet another all nighter. She looked around to make sure there weren't any familiar faces around, -Lola seemed the type to pull all nighters-, and leaned in to whisper: "Listen, I can't help you as much as you can help yourself. So you either take this seriously, or I'm leaving back to Queens. I'd like to see what plans your masculine little brain can come up with." Margot's fingers dug into his temple-
-which he swatted away, sucking air through his teeth. "Damn, aight!" Upon her gasp, he looked around with eyes squinted. He wasn't the type to sit in a library for an hour on end. Was too loud. "Sorry." Yawning, "Okay." Jungkook eventually gave in. "Aight, just, tell me what I gotta do, and I'll do it. As long as it gets Lola back."
One corner of her mouth curled up. "Good." Margot tittered. "Now, the first thing we need to do is find a good spot for the date."
Both of them had ideas, though they kept getting rejected by the other. Margot thought like a girl, what would girls be into? "A drive-in movie date?"
"How am I gonna talk to her during a damn movie?"
She rolled her eyes. "You never stop talking-"
"Shut up!" He shoved her with a laugh, though immediately apologized again for being loud. He didn't want the old lady glaring at him around the shelves again. "I don't stop talking 'cause I got a lot on my mind."
"Really? Like what? Spider webs?"
He laughed again, shoved her again. He had missed their bickering. Though, they had to focus. Thinking for a little while longer, he snapped his fingers. "The Brooklyn Bridge."
"Hm?" Margot clicked her tongue. "It'd be too, I don't know, open for a date, don't you think?"
Jungkook shrugged. "We had our first kiss there."
Something about the way he had changed, it inspired Margot. Just a single year, and it's as though he was completely transformed. The same big brown bambi eyes, the same smile, the same tattoos, the same sharp brows, the same shade of honey coating his skin, and yet peel away, and his bones were reconstructed. Pulled apart and pieced back together like a jigsaw puzzle. She watched him chew on his bottom lip in awe. "I can't believe it."
"What?"
"You remember your first kiss with her?" Margot leaned in, whispering so only he could hear, and upon his nonchalant nod, "Are you sure you're not in love with her?" she asked.
It was a simple question. One that didn't have a simple answer. He blew raspberries, leaning back, fingers brushing through his black hair, eyes faltering everywhere, foot tapping, fingers tapping, his heart... Racing. In a way, Margot didn't need an answer.
"You trippin'." He laughed. "I just- I just remember it 'cause it was just like... A moment. Y'know what I'm sayin'?"
Obviously, he left out the part where he asked Lola out with an original song. He wouldn't hear the end of it from Margot. She'd be breathing down his neck for all the details, laughing at his cheeks turning red.
"Sure." She laughed back. This time at him.
To change the subject, "Aight, fuck it." Jungkook cleared his throat. "Let's not do the bridge then... Let's do..." His concentrated face meant his brows were snapped together, and his eyes were shut close. That could also mean embarrassment, but we're not going to talk about that right now. "Okay, I found it."
"What is it?" She questioned, amused.
Jungkook mirrored his friend's position, leaning in to whisper: "There's this lake... I don't know if it's good enough, but it's kinda chill, y'know? Took her there once, and uhm-" he would've loved to go into detail on how he fucked her raw that night, though a slight problem was growing under his jeans, so Jungkook decided not to. By the looks of it, Margot didn't need him to, anyways. She was giggling, nudging him in the arm, telling him she doesn't need any more information. "Yeah-" he laughed, "it's like, five minutes from campus. She likes it there."
"Okay!" Margot clapped her hands together, though did so softly. The library was at its peak. "The lake, then. So, what we need to do is: I'm gonna go get the materials for decoration, and you-" her finger turned to him. "need to somehow convince Destiny and Giselle to talk Lola into it."
"What?!" Loud, agitated, Jungkook yelped. The old lady had stopped by to warn him one last time, to which Jungkook had to politely smile and apologize. Once it was the two of them at the table again, "That's your plan?" he leaned in to whisper. "I can't do that? The whole point of this plan is that she ain't talkin' to me. The fuck makes you think her friends will?"
"Okay, first of all-" Margot began, a finger held in front of his helpless face. "yell one more time and you're gonna be banned from entering this library. And second- how else did you think you were gonna get her to come to the date? You have to start somewhere. At least it'd be easier to talk to her friends, no?"
She wasn't wrong, but Jungkook didn't think she was right either. It took some convincing for him to grow the balls to do it, but eventually, "Fuck, aight." He scorned. "Imma try 'n talk to Des, but if she kicks me in the nuts it's on you."
Margot rolled her eyes for the millionth time that day. "Yeah yeah." She rose to her feet and pushed the chair back. "Just, make sure to tell Destiny that I'm helping you do this, and that I'm genuinely sorry. Maybe that'll help."
He nodded, reaching into his back pocket to draw out his wallet. "Take this." His card pinched between his pointer and middle finger, "Ain't been dealin' though so I don't got a lot on it. Go to the dollar tree or sum."
"Okay." Margot giggled, and left him alone, though behind her followed Penelope. Oddly sneaky. She wasn't seen by either of them.
Face buried in his palms, "Fuck." Jungkook groaned. He leaned back in his chair, his legs spreading further. There were only a few things he could tell Destiny, without earning a kick in the nuts. He had to be careful if he wanted to preserve them.
On his way out, his phone against his ear, "Yo Des!" he chimed. He wasn't expecting her to actually pick up. "You free right now?"
❤️
Destiny stood outside with her arms crossed in front of her chest, and a frown on her face. When she noticed Jungkook approaching her, that frown deepened. "Say whatchu gotta say." She spat before letting him get a word in.
"Damn." Jungkook scorned in response. "Y'all hate me this much."
"Boy-"
"Aight chill." Hands raised, he waited for her to simmer down. "Look, I know what I did to Lo was wrong-"
"You do? That's so generous of you-"
"Jesus, just listen!" His head thrown back, he groaned up at the sky. This was going to be hard, but he was willing to bite the bullet for Lola. "I'm tryna fix that shit."
"How?" Destiny yawned. She'd been sleeping, and much to her relief, Lola was able to get some sleep in too. Since it happened so seldom, Destiny made sure to be quiet when she left the dorm. Giselle, on the other hand, had been running from lecture to lecture.
Jungkook cleared his throat, searching for the right words. Whether unconsciously or not, his hands were hovering in front of his crotch for protection. "I'm planning this lil' date, gonna apologize to her but I need you to talk her into it-"
"Nope." Destiny cut him off, already walking back inside the building when-
"Des please!" Jungkook yelled after her. Never did she hear him so helpless, so desperate before. "C'mon! I know I fucked up! Let me fix it!"
She had to swallow, and sigh deeply before turning back to face him. Eyes drilling into his soul. "So you think a lil' apology gon' fix it? You even know what she been through? She ain't even slept until just now. She just been sleeping for an hour, you think Imma sit there and talk to her about yo' dumbass first thing she wakes up? Hell nah!"
"How the fuck am I supposed to fix this, then?!" His arms stretched open, Jungkook yelled back at her. His hurt was clear in the way his voice thrilled. Adam's apple shaking in the base of his throat. "Y'all keep tellin' me I broke her heart, but when I try to make it better y'all push me away! How this gon' work?!"
"Because-" taking a step closer, "you ain't doing it right!" Destiny poked a finger into his chest. "Whatchu think a date's gonna do? She gon' jump right back into yo' arms? Kiss you like you kissed Margot?"
Fuck. It hit him like a truck. To be reminded of that night was to be reminded of Lola's face. Eyes wide and baffled. Betrayal was written all over it.
Jungkook cleared his throat, hands on his hips now. He looked at Destiny, eyes full of help signs. "That's not what I want from her. Des, she could slap me if she wanted to. I don't care. All I want is to just- just wanna talk to her. Please. Let me get it off my fuckin' chest. Please. I swear I'm not gon' do none goofy. Just gonna tell her I'm sorry, and if she still hates me after, then she does. I'll hate myself too. It'd make two of us."
His shrug at the end told Destiny everything she needed to be told. Groaning, "Fine." she crossed her arms once again. "But-" before his face could light up, "if taht girl comes back crying, Imma make sure yo' balls 're in a blender by the end of that night."
Cupping his crotch, frowning, "Damn, aight!" Jungkook tittered. "Fuckin' psychopath!"
"Shutcho bitchass up!" She pointed. "Imma go back now, and try 'n talk to her when she wakes up. I ain't promising none though! If she don't wanna see yo' face, then she don't. Leave it at that!"
"Bet. Just tell her to meet me at our little secret spot tomorrow, at ten."
An expression Jungkook could only describe as disgust took over Destiny's face. "Boy... The fuck kinda Narnia ass place is you takin' her to?"
He rolled his eyes in annoyance, scorning at her. "Just tell her that, she'll understand."
"Okay...?" She inhaled deeply, before strolling back inside.
