Chapter five
GIRLS AND BOYS ON THEIR FIRST DATES!

Admittedly, Lola had put too much time into her appearance. She had refreshed her curls and nestled a pearl headband between her ginger locks, which matched the ones hanging loosely around her neck. They contrasted stunningly on top of her bodycon dress. Lola usually preffered to wear black, as most colors emitted chaos when paired with her hair.
The maxi dress hugged her delicate curves snugly, while the platform boots were used for a juxtaposition, sitting rigidly under a more feminine slit along her leg. She had not forgotten to moisturize the showing parts of her skin.
Upon Destiny's pleads, Lola had also worn a red lipgloss. That was never something she'd choose on her own, yet she felt prettier than usual.
Lola held the strap of her black leather bag around her shoulder, when a Mercedez Benz pulled up by the gate. Out stepped he.
He, who wore an Under Armour compression shirt on top of gray sweats. Lola caught a glimpse of the waistband of his Calvin Klein's poking out slightly. He had a slim waist, and a toned torso. A tattooed sleeve, and piercings. As if it was the first time she saw him, everything felt new, fresh.
Lola could not look away. Though she was aware it was unfair. There was a lack of effort, yet he looked superb. She hated how good he looked.
Jungkook ruffled his hair and jutted his chin at the girl standing before him. "Sup?"
"Hi." Lola smiled. She tried her best not to look below his waist, as it could be dangerous to do so. Instead, Lola averted her focus to the black car behind him. "Is it yours?"
"The whip?" He pointed his thumb over his shoulder, "Yeah. You like it?"
Tilting her head to the side, "Uh yeah! I guess... I'm not really into cars that much." Lola told him.
She melted. Lola melted under his gaze. Jungkook's eyes traveled up and down, and again. "You look bad."
"Bad?!" Lola stepped back and looked up at him with her brows furrowed, until she heard him chuckle.
Jungkook held her wrist and led her to the passenger side. "Bad as in, you look sexy as hell."
He opened the door for her.
She did not get in.
Lola was frozen. Her mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water, and something in the back of her head had to remind her of her womanhood. Clearing her throat, "Thank you." She smiled.
Jungkook's teeth showed as he smirked in a flirty manner. He gestured inside the car, and helped her as Lola complied. When he sat in the driver's seat, Lola had already worn her seatbelt. He sneered pompously, "Atta girl." and winked before starting the engine.

"Bro, they ain't gonna take us in." Yoongi groaned. The other two sushed him as they walked down the lobby. He rolled his eyes and crossed his arms in front of his chest knowingly.
Once they reached the counters, Namjoon rung the golden bell. "They gotta. It's been four years." He lowered his elbow on the cold surface of the counter, while his other hand disappeared into the pocket of his black cargo pants.
Namjoon has always been the type to abide by the rules. Unless those rules were about girls, and their hearts. He has never gotten a ticket, yet has broken countless hearts. It was the fine line between great manners, and borderline terrible intentions. He had waited four years for a ban to lift, but could not uphold a relationship for four months.
"Word." Hoseok pointed, and turned to Yoongi -who still had not uncrossed his arms.-
Unlike the other two, Yoongi had lost hope in the competition. What they did four years ago is unacceptable, yet he was the only one able to accept it. If you asked Yoongi, he believed posting their songs to YouTube, and Spotify would help them a lot more than an underground talent show only hip-hop enthusiasts care about.
"I mean, we shoulda never been banned in the first place, but-" Hoseok started, but was cut off by Namjoon.
"But they scared of real music." The dimpled boy started vigorously slamming the golden bell, to the point of damage. The sound was more like a screech now, and not so much like a bell. "Ayo?! Anyone there?!"
Of the employee's room stepped out a brunette. She greeted the boys with a warm smile, and averted her focus on the one huffing and puffing.
It was Namjoon. He brushed his tongue along his bottom lip and casually hunched over the counter, as much as the counter allowed. Behind him, Yoongi and Hoseok rolled their eyes. Their friend had yet again found another random girl to flirt with.
"We're here to apply for the talent show." Namjoon licked his lips again. "I'm a rapper, actually." He winked.
"And the fuck 're we?" Yoongi mumbled to no one in particular. His eyes veered to a group of teens who were practising for the competition. From afar, they looked just like he did four years ago.
"I write my own lyrics. Yeah, haha. I know girls be crazy fo' that shit. I can write you a song, f'you want?" Namjoon, much to his friends' disappointments, spoke with his most fuckboy voice. Jutting his chin at her every other word, before pulling his bottom lip between his teeth.
Although hiding it with a forced smile, everyone else in a one mile radius could sense her being uncomfortable. "Uhm, no thank you. Haha." She cleared her throat as her fingers hovered above the keyboard. "Can I have a name, please?"
"Jung Hoseok!" Done with Namjoon's flirtatious blabbering, Hoseok shoved him aside, brushing his fingers through his slick hair. "We actually applied like four years ago but-"
"But it ain't worked out!" Namjoon interrupted him, hands in the air. With almost double the strength, he shoved Hoseok back. "So we thought we should try it again this year!"
"Jung Hoseok." She repeated as she typed the name in, only to find it listed under a file titled 'BANNED'. It was written in all caps, bold. She looked up at the three -or two, since Yoongi had wandered off to watch the group of teens from before.
"Don't wear those chains. Trust. It Look like you got it off Amazon for three dollars." He told them, though eventually bopped his head to the funky beat of their song. He was impressed.
Meanwhile at the counter, "It says here that you guys were banned from the competition." The woman told them.
"Pffft..." Namjoon scorned and pointed a stern finger at the laptop. "That was four years ago! It's over now!"
Beside him, Hoseok pinched the bridge of his nose. His entire body cringed as he watched the woman shake her head disappointedly.
"I'm sorry, I can't let you apply." She clicked her tongue. "It says you're still banned for another three years."
"Three years?!" They shouted in sync.
Hoseok's jaw hit the floor, while Namjoon nearly climbed over the counter to see what was written on the laptop screen himself. "Damn! The fuck we do?!"
As if they weren't the ones causing chaos four years ago, Namjoon and Hoseok were both all ears.
The woman's eyes filled with concern as she scrolled down the file. "According to this document, you 'performed acts of arson' and 'threatened the audience with burning the stage'."
Once she read the words on her screen, her eyes flickered up to see them joined by Yoongi again. Who pointed an immediate finger at Hoseok. Namjoon did too. They blamed Hoseok for his passion. Memories flashed before Hoseok's eyes.
four years ago!
He gulped. It was heard through the microphone, which he had been holding close to his mouth. Humidity dripped down his forehead and his temples. It was warm. Hot, even.
On either side of him stood Yoongi and Namjoon. Young, scared, but kept up with the passion for music burning within their hearts. Having just performed their first Cypher, the applause coming from the audience had fueled their ego enough to go through with their idea.
Well, it was Hoseok's idea to take off their shirts and throw them in the middle of the stage, before burning the pile to a crisp.
Of course, it had not gone to plan. The heat coming off the fire sent everyone into a frenzy. The stage, having been made out of wood, started burning along with the shirts. And yet Hoseok refused to leave the stage, so Yoongi and Namjoon had no choice but to comply.
"Yo?" Yoongi had called over the fire -and the chaos bubbling in the audience- "This gotta be illegal!"
Shaking his head, "No." Hoseok smiled, "They love it." The cheers in the audience soon turned into screams, and hollers, and Hoseok was hit with the truth. They did not love it. They were scared.
"Yo Ion wanna go to jail! I'm too fuckin' young!" Sixteen year old Namjoon yelled, and it was hard to hear over the agonizing yelps of a few people's third degree burns on their arms and legs.
Two officers, who were guarding the doors, had quickly ran by due to the commotion, to which they reacted with force. Aiming their guns at the three teenagers standing on a burning stage. "Get off the stage, and get on your knees right now!"
They had warned, while sirens were heard in the distance. Up to five ambulances had pulled up at the entrance of the building.
Alas, it was too late to back down now. Hoseok shook his head and kicked a burning piece of wood into the audience. "If we don't win this competition, we will burn this place down!"
He held his microphone up high, while the other two stood wide-eyed, trying to save themselves from the fire surrounding them.
"Homie what?!" Yoongi and Namjoon hollered in sync.
The aftermath was as you would imagine. The three had been forced off the stage, and charged with seven weeks of juvenile detention, before being released as innocent. Although they were let off with a strong warning. Namjoon had taken it upon himself to stay cool with the police ever since.
present time!
"We told you to cut that shit out!" Yoongi smacked Hoseok's shoulder repeatedly. "You got some real issues with fire that you gotta solve, bro."
In protest, "I was doing it for the sake of art! Our art!" Hoseok raised his hands as if trying to prove himself innocent in a courtroom. "See, 'fire' was used as a metaphor for the passion we feel inside!"
"Metaphor my ass!" Namjoon broke their argument with a much stronger tone. He nearly crushed the counter with his palm. "We almost killed like seven people with that fucking metaphor!"
The woman's brows furrowed amidst their bickering. "Almost killed seven people?!" She checked the document again, to make sure.
"Ion know if it was seven. I just threw a number out." Namjoon waved his hand as if swatting away a fly, before continuing with their argument.
"It doesn't say that on the file, but I have to add it now. It's the principal."
The three suddenly turn to the woman. Silence overcomes them, before Namjoon reached over the counter to hold her hand, and stopped her from typing it into the file. "Hold up, how long this gon' delay the ban lift?" He questioned, eyes wide and curious.
"Forever." The woman replied.

Jungkook drove through the gates of a grand building. It looked similar to Jin's mansion, how the pillars stood tall on each side of a double door. A much larger fountain had been placed in the center of the entrance, and the water it spewed looked like specks of gold under the moonlight.
He opened Lola's door and held her hand, gently helping her out before strategically throwing the keys at the valet standing on the other side of the car. "Thanks man."
They stood beside each other, within the scent of one another's skin. Lola felt a chill run down her back, one that was immediately settled with warmth as Jungkook sneaked his arm around her waist. He was bold with the way he pulled her closer, though did so delicately, and led her inside.
Walls were filled with various paintings from famous periods like the Renaissance, and Baroque.
As the two walked down the golden hallway, following the red carpet beneath their feet, the tune of a genteel live orchestra became more and more distinct. Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata brought a certain livelyhood to the place.
High ceilings, and a plethora of chandeliers hung to accompany many candles, all of it were taking the classic restaurant to a rather divine atmosphere.
"Your name, sir?"
"Jeon Jungkook."
Lola looked up at him. He walked and talked like he knew the ins and outs of New York socialites. Her train of thought was interrupted with the way Jungkook tangled his long fingers between her smaller ones, and tugged softly before they followed the waiter to a reserved table in the middle.
He let go of her hand, only to pull her chair back. "I gotcha." He sneered, and winked as he sat down himself.
Lola had been baffled. If she had never seen him before, she'd think it was a different person. "Thank you." She smiled.
Jungkook gestured around the room, "Watcha think?"
She wasn't going to lie. It was enchanting. Classical music took you for a swoon around the antique saloon. Though she was worried about the budget, so she leaned in, elbows on the table, "I think this place is way too expensive." Lola whispered.
Jungkook hummed with pride. He mirrored her, and placed his elbows on the table to lean in and whisper; "You're worth it."
Formerly pink, Lola's cheeks were now matching the gloss on her lips. She looked down at the menu placed in front of her by the waiter, so she wouldn't have to trip and fall inside the sandstorm that are Jungkook's big brown bambi eyes.
