Hello guys! I'm planning on keeping this episode fluff and soft because something major will happen the next episode ehehe (bcs I am a drama queen and I love drama) Oh and, a littleee bit smut too ehe.
Aaand I want to post this chapter before the last episode of My Engineer. It looks like there will be some drama going on and if King does something dumb again, I won't be able to write this episode without killing him in the end lol.

- A week and a half later -

"There was a thing my mother always tells me whenever I feel down." Ram said looking at Mek and Boss at the side of his eye.
An hour ago, Ram called both his and Kings' friend group to eat barbeque and drink a little to celebrate Kings birthday. He was planning it to be a surprise but Ting Ting spilled everything out, as always. So they were just chatting while eating and drinking. Both Ram and King realized something was wrong with Mek and Boss when they sat further than they normally do.
Ram put down his glass and continued. "Stand still, stay awake." King looked at him and tilted his head to the left. Everyone looked at him a little confused while Mek lifted his head a little and looked at Ram.

"What does it mean?"

"When she was little, my mom lost her parents at a very young age. She was sent to many foster families but none of them treated her well. Because she is a foreigner, she was bullied a lot. She always tells me that these four words helped her to overcome so many things in this messed-up life. Stand still, stay awake. Never give up on your dreams and never close your eyes too early. This is her life motto." Ram smiled and looked at King. King placed his hand at his cheek and gently rubbed it.

"I liked her motto."

"Yeah. I do too." Ram gave him a quick kiss, which made everyone go nearly crazy. Especially Ting. Ram chuckled but stopped when he checked on the MekBoss duo. Mek wasn't eating anymore, just staring at his plate and Boss just chugged his drink. Ram cleared his throat and looked at their friends. "Do you guys want anything??"

After everyone went to their homes except Ram and King, they decided to go to the garden, as always. When they arrived, they sat down on the bench and watched the starry night. Ram took out his phone and earbuds and got closer to King, placing one of the buds at his ear. King smiled and rested his at his shoulder.

"I wonder what will you open this time." Ram smiled too and tapped to start the music. A couple seconds later, King lifted his head and looked at Ram. "What is this?"

"Shh... Just listen."

'Hey.' King looked at Ram with a slightly surprised face. This was a voice recording of Ram. 'Happy birthday my flower. Today is not your actual birthday, this is from two days ago. But I was too excited to wait to do this recording, so here I am.' The sound of Rams' cute chuckle filled Kings' ear and made him smile. Ram placed the other bud at his other ear, got up and silently left. 'Gosh, I don't know where to start. I am currently planning a surprise party for you but a side of me is a hundred percent sure that someone will spill it out. Fortunately, that won't be my only surprise for you~! So if you are listening to this, it means we are in the garden now. What I want you to do is stop this recording and remember the first time we came here.' King stopped the recording and looked around him. When he saw Ram was nowhere near, he got up and continued the recording. 'I want you to look under the bench we always sat. There will be a note, which will lead you to four more of them. Your present will be waiting for you. Good luck!' When the recording ended, King kneeled down and looked under the bench to see a little notepaper. He grabbed it and read it out loud.

- Every King deserves a crown, right?

King chuckled and put it in his pocket. He went to the old oak tree where they both sat and made gorgeous flower crowns. Just as he expected, there was his second note.

- Thanks for the crown again. But the flowers look a little bit sad. Maybe they are thirsty?

He looked around and walked towards the cafe near the garden. He entered the place and walk up to the cashier.
"Excuse me, do you have a similar notepaper like this by a chance?" He showed the other papers at his hand.

"Ah yes. Are you King?" King blinked a couple times.

"Yes, I am. How do you know my name P'?"

"A boy came here and wanted me to give these things to a boy named King." He opened a drawer and gave King his other clue. "Oh and this one." He handed over a little, yellow box with a white ribbon on it. King smiled and thanked him with a bow. After getting out of there, he opened the note.

- Today is a little bit chilly, isn't it? Why don't we go somewhere a little warmer?

"Oh, I know this one." King started walking, passed their usual bench, and stopped when he saw their other spot. It was an empty grass area with some different kinds of trees around it. They usually sit there and eat dinner when they want to have a picnic. Because they come to this place usually at night time, every time they come there to eat something, Ram would always give his jacket to King or hug him to keep him warm because it's chilly.
King smiled to see another notepaper near an umbrella. He took the paper and opened it.

- Firstly, do not open the umbrella until you find me. Secondly, hurry up and find the music in your heart. I am starting to miss you so be fast.

King looked around. Grabbing the umbrella, he went back to the old oak tree and looked at the ground. There was a path made from fake flowers. He chuckled thinking how much of a romantic dork Ram is. He finally found the last paper.

- Follow the road.

He stopped when he felt a drop. When he looked up, he realized it started raining so he started to walk faster. When he reached the end of the path, he was already wet from head to toe.

"I did it!" King said with great joy. Ram smiled and came to his near. He grabbed the umbrella and opened it.

"The surprise can wait a little bit. You will get sick."

"Look who is talking. You are as wet as I am." King smiled and messed up his hair. Ram smiled too and placed his hand on Kings' cheek. He softly brushed his cheek with his thumb. The sound of the pouring rain, the smell of the freshly cut grass,... Ram looked at King. He was looking so tenderly that it made Rams heart ache.

"You are making me feel happy even when you don't do anything." King smiled and got a little closer to him. They both closed their eyes and leaned in for a kiss. This was not their first kiss, but it was surely the most magical one. King put his hand at Rams waist and pulled him into another heartwarming kiss. The sugary taste of the birthday cake made both of them to taste more of it. Ram pulled him closer to his body and dropped the umbrella at their side. With his empty hand, he hugged his waist. When they were out of breath, they backed away their heads a little and stared deep in the eyes of each other, panting.

"I want more.." King looked at Ram with desire in his eyes. Ram didn't say anything and just pulled him closer for another kiss. They both were soaked but neither of them cared about it. They just wanted to taste more of each other's lips. Feel each other more.

King opened the door in silence and looked inside. He was scared his sister was in his house waiting for him to celebrate. But thankfully, she was not. After they both took their shoes off and got inside, they immediately closed the door. King slammed Ram against the wall, grabbed his collars, and started to kiss. While Ram was kissing him back, he took his coat off along with Kings. Because they were still wet, their bodies were visible through their shirts. Ram slowly placed his hands under his shirt and caressed his bare skin. King moaned softly to his mouth and kissed him harder. Ram slowly moved his hands upper and upper. As he reached his chest, King stopped kissing him and took a shaking breath. Ram smirked at his reaction and took off his shirt. He eyed the half-naked boy in front of him and changed their places.

"A little aggressive, huh?" King grinned while placing his arms at his shoulders.

"Maybe a little." Ram leaned and started to kiss him while taking his own shirt too. King bit his bottom lip and smirked. "Hey! Why did you do that?" King just shrugged off, still smirking.

"I just wanted to. Is there a problem?" he whispered while getting closer to his lips. Ram just mumbled and lifted him. King wrapped his legs around his waist and placed his hand at his cheeks. "I think this game is enough. Can we just go to my bedroom now?" Ram smiled and gave him a quick kiss.

"You are the birthday boy. You want, I do." They both laughed while Ram carried him to the bedroom and closed the door behind them.

Okay I know some of you are thirsty for more but I'm tomato red even writing this much so I don't think I can do that 😆 Sorryy~
Anyways, I think the episode is out now and I still didn't watch it and I am really scared, to be honest. I hope nothing bad happens to RamKing and MekBoss. I know there will be a bad ending couple and at this point, I hope it's not brighter of them. Since TharaFrong is not an official couple, only BohnDuen is left, which is my least fav ship and I don't care if they broke up or not.
