Louis's POV:

"You're late." The teacher scowled.

Was he serious?? I was not even late!!!
He's just too early.

And none of these would happen if I didn't meet that impolite girl from earlier.

"Sorry sir, I had some trouble finding the classroom."

"It's okay. What's your name?"

"Louis Tomlinson. "

"Oh, so you are the new student. According to the alphabetical order, your roll number is 16. Take a seat next to Miss Laura Stone, roll 15."

I took my seat next to that girl.

"In my class, the seats are arranged according to the roll numbers. The person sitting next to you will be your seat-mate and project partner for the rest of the year."

"Great, now I am stuck with a fucking blind guy for the rest of the year, who doesn't even know how to walk without bumping into people!" She hissed.

Wait.....WHAT?

A cold shiver ran down my spine as I realised who the voice belonged to. It was the same girl I bumped into earlier that day.

Wasn't she the rudest girl or whatever? Well, two can play the game.

"Watch your tongue Stone. At least you're not the one who is stuck with the rudest person on earth, who doesn't know how to talk to people like a normal person! "

"Hey you- I doubt you would have a proper future without your eyes-"

"Don't You Dare-"

"SILENCE! Stop, both of you. Another word and I'll give you both detentions."

We stopped arguing immediately. I mentally face palmed myself.

How was I supposed to tolerate this girl for a whole damn year!!!

After math, me and Liam headed to the cafeteria.

"C'mon guys, I've save seats for both of you", said Lily.

"Thanks mate," said Liam as we took our seats.

"So how was your first day?"

"Umm, not bad. I met Niall in history, then I had Spanish with him. I had math with Liam. And in English, I was partnered with that weird girl named Laura Stone. "

"LAURA STONE????" The 4 of them shouted, as a result everyone at the cafeteria suddenly stopped vibrating with noises and I felt the gaze of the people of the entire cafeteria on us.

"Great, now I have everyone's attention. You guys could've shouted a bit quieter, just so you know." I remarked.

"We couldn't Louis! It's Laura Stone we're talking about. You remember what I told you about her, right? She is the rudest girl in our school. " Niall whispered.

"She is bad news. Everyone fears her, even the bullies. She never talks to anyone." Zayn muttered.

"She is here for 2 years, right? What did the people who partnered with her before did? They had to talk to her for the sake of the projects, right?" I asked.

"They would finish the projects all by themselves." Liam replied.

"Seriously? Well, I'm so not doing that. I can't double my work just because someone's too rude to talk to people. I'll make her work." I decided.
