Louis's POV:

"If you haven't noticed, we still have a little work left with our project, thanks to you," I said as I flopped down beside her in English.

"So, we're working on that today at mine," I said after not getting a reply from her.

"Tomorrow at mine" She replied coldly.

"Why? So that you can act rude with me again?"

"I-"

"Save it, Stone"

"Well, either that, or you're working on the project yourself." She replied sternly after a few seconds.

"Ugh- I hate you!" I spat.

"Good, cuz I'm not dying to love you either!" she replied immediately.

What the fuck is wrong with her!!

I was about to reply but I got stopped as the English teacher had started our class.

"Careful, Lou"

"Yeah Haz, I'm okay.....Let's head to the cafeteria."

It's been a week since Harry joined our group. As I got to know him, he turned out to be such a sweet and friendly guy.

His stepdad was one of the richest Business mans of our town.

Despite being so sweet and friendly, he never had any friends, cause apparently, everyone wanted to be his friend, but not for him, for his money.

I realised why Max made people think that Harry was his best friend. He wanted people to worship him half as much as they worship Harry.

But Harry simply didn't care.He didn't know about half of the things happening inside the school. He was always sitting in the back of the class, dozing off or listening to music.

Teachers didn't even try to make him pay attention nowadays, because he somehow managed to always pass his exams with mediocre grades.

"Hey guys" My friends said in a unison as soon as we stepped in the cafeteria.

"How're you all doing?" Niall asked when I take a seat beside him.

"How do you think someone would do if they're projected up with Zayn in Math? I'm literally dying!" Lily said dramatically.

"Excuse me! I'm the one who's actually dying - I'm the one who has to tolerate you after all!" Zayn snapped.

"That's enough! Shut up, both of you. What about you Tommo? You're projected up with Laura after all " Liam asked.

" I just don't know." I said honestly, "Sometimes, I feel like she's not as bad as she seems..... And sometimes, I think she is the worst."

"And what makes you think that?" asked Zayn.

"Well, the other day she came over to mine for a project, and she acted nicely - I mean she was quiet but....she wasn't rude!"

"That's..... quite unusual." Harry muttered.

"But then the other day when I asked her about her family she kinda infuriated -"

"Oh shit! What have you done?" Lily asked.

"What?" I asked confusingly.

"Well, you're lucky you're still alright-"

"What actually happened to her in the first place?" I asked impatiently, which cut Liam off.

"Well, rumors say that her parents died in an accident which occurred in front of her........But we're not sure if that's true. I mean she never talked to anyone about it- and you know how rumours spread in high school." Niall said, but I wasn't listening.

Are those rumours true?
Did I make a mistake by yelling at her the other day?
