"Take. It. Off." Noctis demanded as he stared at himself in the mirror.

"Aw, come on Noctis! Prompto's on board!" You stated as you put the finishing touches on Prompto's costume.

"That's because he came up with these ridiculous costumes." You, who currently had fox ears and a tail, and Prompto, who currently had dog ears and a tail, scoffed as you turned to Noctis.

"Are you telling me you hate your costume? The costume that your loving girlfriend worked so very hard on?" You questioned as you drew whiskers on Noctis' face.

"It's literally just cat ears and a tail." Noctis stated blandly, you stuck your tongue out in response.

"And a nose and whiskers! I am the most amazing artist, look at your flawless whiskers!" You cheered as you turned Noctis' face towards the mirror.

"Remind me to never let you watch anime with Prompto ever again." Prompto's whines and complaints could be heard in the background while you laughed.

"Remind me to get that stick out of your butt and we'll call it even." Noctis face palmed in shame while you and Prompto were squawking with laughter.

"This is the woman I have chosen as my girlfriend." Noctis muttered through his hands, which increased the volume of your laughter.

"I'm lovely and you know it! Now come on or we're gonna miss the costume party because you're to busy complaining." You stated as you started dragging Noctis out of his room.

A very annoyed "These aren't even costumes." came from Noctis as you started pulling him downstairs.

"Shut up, it's gonna be great!" You yelled as you pulled Noctis out of his home and into the dark streets.

The party was fairly uneventful, just a lot of awkward teenagers dancing in a pile. No matter how boring something was, if you were with Noctis it was always fun.

"My legs hurt so much!" You whined as you grabbed Noctis' arm.

"I told you to stop dancing at the three hour mark." You whined again while he basically started dragging you.

"Listen you and I both know I have no self control. So be a good boyfriend and carry me home!" You yelled as you jumped into Noctis' arms, causing Prompto to snort.

"You can't just jump on me like a monkey. One of these days I won't catch you." Noctis stated as he lifted you into his arms.

"And on that day I will be disappointed, but you caught me today so we're fine!" You cheered weakly as your eyes started to close.

You would never find out, but Noctis had hidden the cat ears and tail in his closet, as a keepsake for the awkward but fun night. You had put a lot of effort into the costume after all.
