You had been planning this for weeks, maybe months, and today was finally the day to put your brilliant plan into action.

"Operation Scare Gladio is now in action, everyone get to your positions and await further instruction." As you made your way to your hiding spot, you heard two mumbled conformations from your partners in crime.

"I still think this operation could use a better name." Prompto commented, earning a sigh from you and Noctis.

"We spent a week trying to think of something good, and clearly that just wasted our time." You replied, pressing yourself as close as possible to the wall you were against. Why were you all trying to scare Gladio? Well the answer was simple, Gladio had managed to purposely scare you all on more than one occasion. Now it was time for some sweet, sweet revenge.

"Gladio has just walked down the east hallway, continuing in a silent pursuit." Noctis whispered, you could hear distant footsteps in the background.

"Keep in touch soldier." You weren't sure when you all had adopted this sort of military communication, but it fit the scenario so you went with it.

"Gladio will be approaching shortly, make sure you're ready." Briefly after Noctis communicated the valuable information you heard footsteps quickly approaching. Psyching yourself up for the moment of truth, you waited until the footsteps were practically right next to before jumping out behind the wall and screaming.

"Gods, what the hell?" Gladiolus jumped back slightly you you suddenly appeared, screaming your head off. He didn't look to scared, but he did jump back and you were considering that a win.

"Oh, did I scare you, big boy?" You teased, earning a sharp glare from Gladio.

"Hardly, you're about as scary as a kitten." You made a quiet hissing noise in response, further validating Gladiolus' previous statement.

"If you're sure you weren't scared you won't mind if we check the footage right?" Prompto inquired, stepping out of his hiding spot, camera in hand.

"Excellent idea Prompto! Let's review the footage, Noct come over here!" Gladiolus watched with a questioning gaze as Noctis made his way over to you all.

"You were all in on this?" You all nodded in response to Gladiolus' question.

"Ignis wouldn't participate because he thought we were being childish. By the way, is this what hardly scared looks like?" You grabbed the camera from Prompto and held it up to Gladiolus' face so he could view his own reaction.

"Compared to how scared you're about to be, this is nothing." You weren't given a chance to process the words before you were picked up and thrown over Gladiolus' shoulder.

"Guys, help me!" You screamed, trying to break out of Gladiolus' iron grip. Failing to notice Prompto taking his camera back.

"You're dating him so he'll go way easier on you! See you on the other side!" You flipped Noctis and Prompto the bird as you were carried away by your boyfriend.

"Do you regret your stupid prank yet?" Gladiolus asked, still carrying you over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

"Hardly, do you realize how sweet my revenge was? We got it on video, I'll never regret it!" You replied, crossing your arms in defiance.

"Trust me, you'll regret it." You squealed when Gladiolus lightly slapped your ass. You quickly realized what he meant when he said you'd regret it, but at least the punishment would be as sweet as the crime.
