"Can I do your hair?" This out of the blue question had earned you quite the stare from Gladiolus, his bewildered expression making you snort.

"Where is this coming from?" Gladiolus questioned back. You wanted to make a comment about how answering a question with a question was rude, but you refrained.

"I told you I've wanted to get better at doing hair, so are you going to let me do it or not?" You could see the hesitance in his eyes right away, guess it was time to use your trap card.

"It's okay if you say no, I'm sure Prompto would be more than willing." You hid your smirk when you saw Gladiolus' expression change immediately.

"Prompto loves his hair more than he loves his camera. I doubt he'd appreciate it, I on the other hand don't care. Go nuts doll." You rolled your eyes at the pet name Gladiolus had given you. Mentally you were patting yourself on the back, it was so easy to make Gladiolus jealous.

"Go nuts huh? I'm thinking we dye your hair pink. What do you think?" You heard Gladiolus groan, causing you to snicker.

"Relax, I'm only messing with you. Though I'm not exactly sure what I want to do with your hair." You admitted, absentmindedly running your fingers through his hair. You knew Gladiolus wasn't going to come up with any good ideas, so you started braiding his hair, no real end goal in mind. You were glad Gladiolus had a book within his reach, otherwise he probably wouldn't have been as patient. It was good he was reading because you had just come to an annoying conclusion, Gladiolus' hair was impossible to work it. His hair always looked like it had a mind of it's own, but this was pretty ridiculous.

"You doing alright doll? You're making a lot of huffing noises." If the teasing lily to his voice had anything to say about it, he clearly knew how awful his hair was. You growled softly once you realized why it was so easy to lure Gladiolus in, his hair was a trap card.

"I'm fine, just can't find my scissors." You stated putting emphasis on the word scissors. You weren't to surprised when Gladiolus pulled you into his lap. You wouldn't be able to do anything to his hair without him knowing, you noted still pouting about how your hair styling was ruined.

"I think that's enough messing with my hair for today." Gladiolus stated, leaving kisses on your jawline.

"Wait, does that mean I can do your hair tomorrow? I mean your hair is pretty annoying to style, but with the right type of products I think I could make it work! I'm gonna go by them right now, thanks for being so sweet hon!" You blurted the words out before jumping off his lap and running out of the room, not giving Gladiolus even a second to process what just happened.

(A/N) I totally headcanon Gladio as having really annoying hair. I mean have you seen how wavy it is? That is clearly the result of some serious bedhead!

Also I was considering adding other characters as options. I know a lot of people like the side characters (myself included) so what are everyone's thoughts on this? Feel free to leave your opinion in the comments!
