Conner couldn't believe it. Why would Nicole of all people join Lucas? He had killed her brother!

"Why are you doing this?"
Isabelle asked in disbelief.
"I don't have a choice."
Nicole narrowed her eyes at them.
"It's the only way to keep Del safe."

"Nicole, Lucas is a maniac."
Anthony took a step towards her.
"Any deal he's made with you won't last. He'll stab you in the back the first chance he gets."

Nicole glared at him.
She glanced sideways at Lucas who nodded.
She shot out another blast of lightning.

Anthony dodged one way while Isabelle and Conner went the other.
Out of the corner of his eye Anthony saw Lucas escaping.

"We got this! Go!"
Isabelle shouted.
Anthony wasted no time in running after Lucas.

Conner and Isabelle faced Nicole.
"You don't have to do this."
Conner said raising his bow.
"Yes, I do."
Nicole said cutting off any way of escape.
"I'm sorry guys."

Annette rapidly pressed some buttons on a keypad by the door.
A metal door slid down, covering the original door.

"Will that keep her out?"
Alexia asked fearfully.
"I don't know."
Annette backed away from the door and stood in front of the chamber where Skyler lay, and where Alexia stood shaking.

"No matter what happens stay behind me. Okay?"
Alexia nodded and stared wide eyed at the door.

Jane was here, and they both knew that she was going to kill someone.
Suddenly it got cold, really cold.

Alexia watched as the metal door began to turn to ice.
"Annette?"
"Stay down!"

The door shattered into thousands of tiny ice shards.
Jane entered the room and glared at Annette.

"Jane, I don't want to hurt you."
Annette put a hand on her gun,which she kept with her at all times.
"That's too bad."
Jane smirked.
"Cause I'm gonna enjoy hurting you."

Annette fired her gun, Jane created a wall of ice and shielded herself.
She ran out from behind it and sent out a blast of fire.

Annette rolled onto the floor and shot again.
Jane dodged the bullet and shot out more fire.

Alexia watched in horror.
She glanced at a monitor that showed Skyler's vitals.
Alexia's eyes widened.
She was dying.

She didn't know whether it was because of the sudden change in temperature or not, but she couldn't let Skyler die.

Quietly, she snuck behind Jane who was still busy fighting Nicole. Alexia reached for the gun she had been given.

She aimed it at Jane's back and fired. Just before the bullet could hit her Jane spun to the side, the bullet only scraped her shoulder.

Jane glared at Alexia, before she could react Jane shot out a shard of ice. It embeded itself into Alexia's stomach.

Annette watched in horror as she went down. Jane didn't give her a second thought. She needed to finish her mission.

Suddenly a loud humming filled the room. The computer monitors were going crazy, beeping and flashing as the hum grew louder.

An unseen force knocked Jane off her feet. The same force hit her again. Annette covered her ears as a loud noise that sounded like screaming filled the air.

Jane began crawling towards the door, trying to block out the noise and dodge the invisible blows.

After Jane had disappeared the noise stopped.
Annette looked up and saw a figure standing over Alexia, their body was glitching in and out of sight.
