Chapter Seven

" The Birthday party. "

Aiden was like a lion so strong and mighty, he could withstand the pressures of life like a grown man. He battled like a solider for his life. Aiden had gotten out of coma and was released from the hospital and back to his normal life.

However he still had to attend counseling and therapy sessions with his family.

Mercedes was impressed by the strength of a tiny boy. He fought against the oppression of asthma and the shot lodged in his chest. His condition was way advanced from the worst, but he was advised to spend a night at the hospital an appointment.

Mercedes along with the other students and their parents organized a grand birthday party for him. She wanted him to feel loved and that he was missed by his dear classmates.

Despite his hatred for veggies and protein, like most kids. It rolled on his taste buds and danced in amusement. His recovery is a steady one.

All the funds gathered from the class's cake and clothes sale; directly contributed to his surprise birthday party.

Mercedes had been there rock and angel, she tossed through nights with Aiden on his weakest days. Maria, Aiden's grandmother had updated her in her life as not just a teacher; A friend, a confident, someone that was trustworthy and genuine.

Her relationship with the Johansens slowly pushed away from the teacher parent one and into the start of a lovely and genuine friendship.

Kelvin gulped down his bitters and clear the path for sweets that Mercedes had. He wasn't a easy cookie to get by like the ones you steal from your mother. Like any grown man he was resistant in having a female do what was his job, primarily to care for his family at times. He still isn't happy about the idea of having her around; however if it made Aiden happy so was it.

The final arrangements for the party was in crisis, At the last second the cake retailer had a family emergency so the cake was cancelled. Alison, the parent teacher president filled the gap and created a fabulous cheese cake, it was decorated like any other cake but it precious and built with love.

The atmosphere was thick as a smoothie, as the very clouds darkened like night ; Breeze blew pass graciously as the party bells rang. The plagues of the New York City traffic neared our ear drums and breaking the tranquility ;Commuters on their different missions and destinations.

The whole school including the principal, teachers and all his classmates and their parents were already arrived at the party waiting for the master mind behind the whole celebration Eve.

The dark figure clouded her path like any building block as it neared her body, swiftly it vanished in the mid dark.

Bristly her body was trembling like a rock, her heart almost lost gravity pounding with fright and fear, cold sweat swarmed her like a bee seeking nectar. She was terrified and couldn't even move an inch to advance into the medical facility.

Unknowingly Mercedes has become a merchandise her every move was programmed by the black eye. They knew she would be there she even before she had the chance to  plan something. They were about to control  her life like a motor car.

Things haven't been the best since Ariel was back in town her worst enemy well that's what Ariel thinks of her sister. Maybe Mercedes was preoccupied with the drama that went down and it was a prank.

Aiden and his family has just gotten out of that ridiculous old man's therapy. Kelvin was too proud and so much of a man to sit down and talk about his problems. It bit him every now and then why this happened?

It was like lightening so quickly more like a blink of a eye but yet it had so much impact.
