In the middle of the night in Georgiana mansion, maids and servants all gathered and kept whispering but Silvana made them close their mouths with her glare.

The shouting from Caroline's room was loud. Silvana did want to step in but she realized her position as Caroline's maid only and decided to stay still in one place.

In Caroline's room, she was hurriedly packing. Alistair and Katherine were in a state of panic. To see their only daughter who is trying to leave home.

"Listen, Caroline! The magicians from the tower will find Reymour. You don't have to go!"

Alistair grabbed both of Caroline's shoulders and shook her. His trembling green eyes met hers.

"I know but that will going to be useless! You know that there is no way they would be able to find out where Rey is! He's my cousin and he's your nephew! He's our family!! So please!!"

Tears well up in her eyes as they slipped down to her white cheek. She can't ignore the fact that Reymour has been kidnapped by some magical dude.

"He's our family, so that's why stay calm!! He won't like it if you get hurt!!"

"But I can't!! I can't sit still, sip tea and chit-chat with noble ladies like nothing happens!"

"But you are Caroline Georgiana! The daughter of Duke Georgiana, the fiancee of crown prince who will rule this empire!! You're a noble lady, a future empress!!"

"I don't want this!! I don't to sit still and look pretty!! I'm not a doll for display! My family is in danger and you told me-!"

*Slap!!*

Caroline's head was tilted to side. Her left cheek was stinging in pain. From her life as Caroline Georgiana up until now, this is the first time that Katherine, her mother has ever lifted her delicate hand to slap Caroline.

"It's look like we have spoiled you too much...." Said Katherine in a very low voice.

Her voice was trembling with different various of emotions. She was sad that her daughter wanted to leave on a dangerous journey, she was angry that her daughter was reckless and only know how to argue back without thinking, and she was also happy to know that her daughter is a grown up who hold her special ones dear inside her heart and was very selfless when it comes to her special ones.

(K: Not gonna lie....I was about to cry while writing that part...)

But! She knew that even if she's happy that Caroline was all grown up, as a mother, she can't let her go on to a dangerous venture.

"As a mother, I have watched you grew up from an adorable child to a mature girl...as a mother, I have watched you fail and succeed. From 3 years ago, you don't know how proud I was when you found a way to save our family reputation and wealth. That's why!!! As a mother, I can't let you go on to something so dangerous and terrifying!!! I'm a worried!!! I won't be able to sleep!!! You are selfish and I am also selfish!!! You are worried, sleepless every night because of Rey!!! But I am also very worried, sleepless all night because of you too!!! So please!!! Don't go!!! Rey is your family but so we are!! We gave birth to you, raise you very hard!!! We are also your family!!"

"Don't go...I know I'm selfish...I'm horrible...but I have to be a horrible person for your happiness...your future...to protect your laugh, I must become a horrible person...even if you hate me...I will continue to be a villain...just for the sake of your happiness..."

Katherine was heartbroken to slap her precious child. She would kill a small animal would dare to disturb her daughter's peaceful sleep but now, she has raised her hand to slap her child.

It's hard being a gentle mother who has a kind heart, but you need to be a monster to protect your children.

"This is my choice...as a mother, I forbid you from going after Reymour until he's found again...you'll be lock up inside this room until your head is cool down..."

Katherine avoided Caroline's eyes when she speaks. She can't bear to see her shock face and those two emerald eyes.

Alistair helped his wife as they both leave the room. Outside, Silvana was standing there as if she was waiting for them to come out.

"Silvana...look after Carol for us...she might need you better than us more..."

"Yes, your excellency.." Silvana respond silently. She watched the two figures disappeared into darkness.

Silvana knocks on the door gently. There was no response at first so Silvana decided to sit on the floor and wait until Caroline gave her a permission to enter.

A few minutes pass by and Silvana was still patiently waiting for answer. Another 10 minutes pass by make Silvana lost hope. She get up and was about to leave.

"Silvana...are you still there...?" Caroline's weak and husky voice immediately earned her response.

"Yes, young miss!! I'm still here!!"

"Come in..."

Silvana lightly close the door and lock it. On the big bed, in the middle of the room, she saw her master lied on the bed. Her brilliant golden hair was very visible even with the little help from the moonlight.

"Master..." Silvana approached the bed and sat down beside the lying Caroline. She saw her pillows were soaked.

"I'm such a horrible daughter...I didn't realise how worried my parents were...I'm selfish, aren't I?"

Silvana sighed. As an outsider who only has a position as a lowly maid, she legally can't interfere with her master's matters but even they can't, there's no law saying maid can't cheer their master up.

"Young mis- no, Master...defying your parents is only natural when it comes to your age...it's teenage rebellious stage, so it's understandable. To me, it seem I was 17 years old yesterday. So seeing you going against your parents for your beloved cousin brother, it's really rare and  touching..."

"These days, noble ladies are almost the same, Including me from when I was one too. Master, did you know how kind of you? You are very kind, caring and courageous than any knight I have ever seen. But please don't forget that there are many people who loved you here in this mansion. You are our beloved miss Caroline."

Caroline stayed silent. She was struck with guilt and conscience. She wasn't Caroline...she was just someone who got hit by BMW and get a classy death.

She was an ordinary woman who doesn't even have a stable salary. Her parents didn't love her. When her mother suddenly hit her and cried out because she was worried about her, her heart was struck with guilt.

Guilty that she wasn't her real daughter.

Guilty because original Caroline Georgiana didn't even receive this huge amount of love both from her parents and her servants.

Guilty because she got engaged with Caroline's first and last love.

Guilty because she made good friends than Caroline who only has fake friends.

Guilty because she has someone who loved her more than Caroline.

She has became ungrateful...Caroline has never even experienced this while she was spoiled rotten.

Haha...how ironic of her...

So that's why...a decision must be made.

That's right..there must be a reason why she suddenly reincarnated as Caroline Georgiana.

There must be a reason why Reymour was kidnapped.

She doesn't want to sit still and glam up. She has experienced enough loves. It's time to return the rightful position back to the original Caroline.

They would said it must be stupid of her to not want all these loves and wealth, but she doesn't deserve them. She have enough. She doesn't want to be greedy anymore. It's a game world and she clearly doesn't belong here.

She need to clearly divided which is Reality and which is Game.

So...as a human who came from Earth, she will find out the truth behind her transmigration and help Reymour.

This is her decision.

I should have ended the last chapter of ss2 on this one. Oh well :D

Anyway, I really miss y'all! And what about my exam? Don't worry, I'll fail because I'm not your typical Asian kid.
