Nine months later

Martha looked down at CJ.  She was crying in her arms, and had that new baby smell.  She had Jasper's eyes and his perfectly shaped lips.  She was perfect. 

"She looks just like you."  Martha looked up at Jasper, he was wearing a hospital gown and cap.  Martha had an emergency c-section for her baby. 

"She looks like you too."  Jasper looked at CJ and then looked at Martha and gave her a kiss.  The tears in his eyes showed Martha how happy he was. 

The last nine months have been brutal, but Martha would not have changed it for anything.  Her and Jasper have been going to therapy once a week.  They had their ups and downs, but they wanted to stick through it.  Jasper knew what Martha did, but he was trying his best to forget about it and trust her again.  Martha was doing anything in her power to try and fall and love with Jasper all over again.  She focused on his positives and it seemed to be working.  Now looking down at their new baby girl, Martha knew that she never wanted to leave Jasper.  She never wanted to hurt him ever again. 

Teegan has been going through therapy as well.  He would go alone, and he would also go with his parents.  He started going back to school after he transfered to the school on the other side of town.  He is making new friends and is enjoying his new life.  He asked for another dog, but Martha had promised him one after the baby was born. 

Jasper continued to work at the hardware store, but Martha is taking time off to be a stay at home mom.  She felt the need to be home at all times to protect her family.  The nightmares continued and woke her some nights, but with therapy they have been becoming more rare.

"Can I come in?"  Teegan poked his head in the door.  He was wearing a hospital gown, as well as a cap.  Martha's nurse was behind him and let him in. 

"Come and meet your baby sister, CJ.  Carter Junior."
