Later on, you and Barnaby are heading to the elementary to pick Cindy up. You sigh and Barnaby asks, "Is everything alright, my dear?" You say, "Yeah. But I guess I've been pretty bummed out about something, lately." Barnaby asks, "And what could it be, huh?"

You say, "I hope Cindy's having a good day. She did mention this little girl in her grade that's picking on her and her friends." Barnaby says, "Oh, that's right. She did tell us that, didn't she?" You say, "I'll ask her if anything happened between her and that Yuki girl. She said that's who it was." Barnaby sighs and says, "Oh god. I hope she doesn't get nearly as bullied as I did."

You say, "I want her to be happy in school. I only gained respect and popularity because of my attitude and supposedly looks." Barnaby says, "Well, my dear. You are a very beautiful and talented woman. You're a perfect one in my eyes. Billie sure as heck was happy to receive that kiss from you." 

You grin and you say, "And she got it. She is twenty-one years old and had that chance.~" He chuckles and he says, "The 21st century is the best. Hoo hoo. Back then, they would've beaten me or burned me alive for being part of the LGBT if I had told them." You say, "Yeah. Same here." 

You get to Goatshire Elementary School and you head inside. You see the kids playing, talking, laughing, singing their little songs, etc. You see Cindy are her three friends and you both smile. You approach them.

As Cindy and her friends Cecil, Sandy and Leanne talk, they hear this from Barnaby, "Oh, Cindy honey." Cindy looks to see you and Barnaby and she smiles and says, "Mama! Daddy!" She runs to you guys and you both duck down and pull her in for a hug. She hugs you guys.

You pull away and you look at her outfit. You notice that it's slightly dirty. Barnaby does, too. Barnaby says, "Cindy. What's that on your dress, honey?" Cindy says, "Umm... I fell on the sand in the sandbox." You say, "Cindy. What happened?" She grins and says, "Nothing. I had a great day, today. I'm just... clumsy?" She chuckles a bit. 

You and Barnaby exchange glances and you look at Cindy. You say, "Come on, honey. Let's go home. We're giving you a change of clothes. Also, we're having lobster for dinner." Yuki hears this from a distance and she looks over. She quietly growls out of anger. 

She sees Cindy with you and Barnaby and she says, "Bah. Of course. Cindy Owl. Little miss perfect and has her mommy and daddy. Rich, spoiled girl gets lobster for dinner. Shrimp. Steaks cooked in a five-star restaurant or her own house. Sushi. Maybe even some good juice or soda to drink. I get bread and crackers with ketchup on it and a cup of water that's not even cold. I already don't like Cindy. Stupid rich girl." She walks off.

You say, "Come on, baby." You, Barnaby and Cindy head out of the school and you walk back home. You didn't have to drive because Goatshire was walkable just about everywhere. You get to your hill, walk up there and you head back into your manor.

Later on at Aristotle and Arthur's place, they have a globe in front of them on a small table. A glass one like a gypsy. Arthur grabs Aristotle's hand and says, "I do hope this works." Aristotle says, "Babe. I was able to get Billie to bring Barnaby back as a living being, bring you back to life, all of that... This has to work. The gem is active and able to bring one more soul back. And Gayle and (Y/N) deserve this chance to see them." 

Arthur nods and says, "Alright, Aries. You do you." Aristotle grips Arthur's hand and he says, "Close your eyes, sweetie." He and Arthur both close their eyes. Aristotle says, "I bring thee James Mason (L/N) back to life after so song. Come forth, James (L/N). Come back to life. I summon thee, James (L/N). Be with your widow, your daughter... your granddaughter. Come back from the dead." Both Aristotle and Arthur close their eyes.

Suddenly, a light glows and the gem is active. It glows like the time Arthur was brought back to life. They open their eyes and they see a silhouette. But when the light disappears, they see a (favorite animal) man with gray fur, a touch of black hair in the front and back like a greaser type, white tank top, black leather jacket, blue pants, etc. It's your father James. He just looks slightly older since it's been years.

Arthur whispers, "Wow. He was a handsome guy." Aristotle says, "He really was... is. Ahem... James." Your dad, now brought back to life looks around and he gasps. He says, "W-what the hell is... what's going on?! I-I-I thought I was d-d-d-dead! F-for years!"

He looks to see an axolotl guy and a goat guy and he says, W-who are you two? W-where's Gayle? My sweet wife? Our baby girl, (Y/N)!" Aristotle approaches him and says, "Now relax, James. I brought you back to life with a gem. It's been years, my guy." 

James looks at Aristotle and he says, "Where's my baby? My (Y/N)?" Aristotle says, "James. Don't freak out on this, okay? But... Your daughter is now thirty years old and so is her husband, Barnaby. He's an owl. You have a granddaughter, too. Her name's Cindy." 

James looks at him and says, "I... I'm a grandfather? Where's my little one? I... I need to see them. My Gayle. My (Y/N).... A-and now my granddaughter.... C-Cindy." Aristotle says, "Cindy like her daddy Barnaby is an owl." James sighs and says, "Oh, my girls. All three. I've always wanted my only child to have a kid one day... a-and I got it. Where's my little grandbaby, Cindy?" 

Arthur says, "They live in a manor. The biggest place here in Goatshire. We'll take you to them in the morning. You can see your daughter and granddaughter. Your widow in her home." James sighs and says, "I had a shitty reputation... but I want nothing more than to see those three."

The next day, Aristotle and Arthur are with your dad James. He looks around and he says, "The place looks a bit different. Unlike Cat Scales." Aristotle says, "You're in Goatshire. It's quite a few hours and miles away from Cat Scales. Your daughter and wife came here to get out of there." 

James says, "I can't blame them. That place was always so backwards." Arthur says, "I was so happy to see my own daughter, again." James says, "Who's YOUR kid?" Arthur says, "Her name's Billie. She's twenty-one years old and lives with Barnaby, (Y/N) and their little Cindy. Trust me my friend... Prices are sky high. Most of us can't even afford to live in a three-bedroom house. Luckily, Barnaby's a famous adventurer and all and (Y/N)'s about to become a lawyer. They are the richest family in Goatshire."

Aristotle says, "They're all doing great. Ever since (Y/N) moved here and met Barnaby, things were better for her. They have a six-year-old daughter and things are good. Billie had been Cindy's main babysitter whenever (Y/N) and Barnaby would go out or work." 

They get to the hill and James looks up at the manor. He says, "Holy shit. (Y/N) and her husband and kid live here? She really is doing great." Aristotle says, "Come on. Let's let (Y/N) see you. We'll get a hold of Gayle in a little while. See your daughter, again." James smiles and nods. The three of them walk up the hill. 

They get in front of Barnaby's manor and they get to the front doors. James takes a deep breath and Arthur says, "It'll be alright, James. You'll at least get to see your daughter. See your granddaughter for the first time." James says, "Yeah. You're right." 

Right inside, you and Barnaby are in the living room, kissing. Cindy's upstairs in her room. Billie's in the kitchen eating snacks or drinking a glass of wine, since she is twenty-one now. You both suddenly hear a knock on the front doors and you pull away. Barnaby says, "I'll get that, my dear. Might be Aristotle and Arthur. Or your mother." You say, "Okay, baby." He gets up and walks out of there.

He gets to the front doors and he opens a door. Sure enough, there's Aristotle and Arthur. But they have someone else with them. A gray furred (favorite animal) with a leather jacket, white shirt and blue jeans on. Slick black hair and aging a bit since he's a middle-aged man.

Barnaby smiles and says, "Ah. Aristotle and Arthur. Hello to you two. And who's this?" Aristotle says, "Hey, Barnaby. Um... Let us in and I'll tell you who he is. Arthur and I kind of... discovered something." Barnaby says, "Do come in." He lets them in and shuts the door.

They face Barnaby and James looks at him saying, "So... You're my son-in-law, huh?" Barnaby says, "Son-in-law? My wife's father passed away years ago. I... Wait a minute." He examines James a little bit and it clicks. He gasps and he says, "Oh hoo hoo! Well, look at that. You're back from the dead. Hello to you, Mr. (L/N)." 

He holds a wing out. James smiles and takes it. They shake and James says, "Nice to meet you... Barnaby, right?" Barnaby says, "That's right. I'm Barnaby. (Y/N)'s husband. We have a daughter, too." They pull away and James says, "That's what these two were telling me. My daughter must be one lucky gal. You're a good-looking young guy, Barnaby." 

Barnaby smiles and says, "Oh hoo hoo. Stop it. No need for that." James says, "But you are, kid." Aristotle says, "I know Elaine secretly has the hots for him, too." Barnaby says, "I figured something was up with her for a few years anytime she'd visit us. (Y/N) claims she peeks down at my butt at times." James says, "Like I said. Young and handsome."

They hear this, "Babe! Who's here?!" They all look to see you. James sees you and he says, "Is that...?" He approaches you. You say, "Hi... Who are you?" He looks at you and he says, "Those eyes... (Y/N). My little girl." You take a better look and your eyes widen in shock. Turns out... it's your father. Back from the dead. He approaches you.

He says, "Hey, sweetheart. Look at you. All grown up." Your lips quiver. The others see this. He says, "Come here. Come to daddy." You grit your teeth and tears form in your eyes. You run to him and you hug him. He holds you close. You start to cry like never before. You say, "Daddy!" You continue crying and he says, "It's alright now, my sweet girl. It's alright, baby. I'm back." 

Billie walks out and says, "What's going on?! Why is (Y/N) crying her eyes out?! Wha..." She stops as she sees a middle-aged (favorite animal) man embracing you in a hug as you cry. She says, "Wait. Is that... HER dad? N-no... fucking way. That gem was still active?" (XD Yes. Billie cussed.)

You sniffle as your dad comforts you and he says, "It's alright, baby. Daddy's back. I'm here." You all hear this, "Daddy! Why is mama crying?!" You and your dad pull away and you all look over. James sees a little owl girl standing there. 

James approaches her and he ducks down to her height. She says, "Hi, mister. Who are you?" You say, "Cindy, honey. This man in front of you... is your grandfather." She looks at you and says, "Huh? But didn't grandpa die a long time ago?" Aristotle says, "He did, but the gem at my place ended up being active." Cindy says, "Gem? What gem?" 

Barnaby says, "Oh, man. We still need to tell her, honey." You say, "Shit. You're right." Cindy looks at James and she says, "You're... my grandpa?" James looks at her and he smiles. He says, "It's nice to meet you, Cindy... You've got your mom's eyes." 

Cindy smiles and walks closer to hug her wings around him. He sighs and smiles. He wraps his arms around her and he stands up, picking her up as he does. He says, "Oh, my grandbaby. (Y/N), she is such a beautiful little girl." You smile and you say, "Thanks, daddy. Stay a little longer. I'll get a hold of mama. Get her here, so you can see her too." 

Billie walks over to you guys. Smile on her face. She says, "It's good to see (Y/N)'s dad back, too." James looks to see a goat girl and he says, "You must be Billie." Billie nods and says, "Yeah. I am." 

He says, "Nice to meet you, kid. I'm James. (Y/N)'s dad. You're Arthur's daughter, huh?" Billie nods. James faces Cindy who's in his arms and he says, "It's good to be back. And knowing I'm a grandfather, too." He kisses Cindy on the forehead. He holds her for a little while.

What ends up happening is that when your mom arrives at the manor and sees your dad, she's in shock. She runs to him, hugs him and she bawls her eyes out... Not literally. She cries so hard is what it is. 

He's happy to see her again. Tells her she's still as beautiful as ever and says this, "For old time's sake, wanna cause mischief like we did when we were young?" She happily agreed to it. The two are reunited.

Also, you and Barnaby end up telling Cindy the truth about her daddy. You told her yourselves that she was conceived and brought to the world while Barnaby was still a ghost. And that she would become one herself, every time she'd sneeze when she was still a newborn. She's shocked at first, but eventually accepted it. She's just happy to have you guys around.
