Ch. 41: Cindy's New Favorite Show
The next day, you're all up. Billie is still there which was definitely alright with you. You know she cared deeply about Cindy... and has a crush on YOU. She's good with Barnaby now since he had a change of heart. And Fantoccio. You told her that he lives with you guys due to being kicked out of his house.
She stayed the night with you guys because you did offer her the last two weed brownies. It affected her as much as it did Barnaby, since you and Fantoccio are more used to stuff like that because one, Barnaby's alive again and substances and alcohol affect him more and two... this is Billie's first go at any of it. Fantoccio told you this out of sarcasm, "Oh boy. You're such a good role model." You sarcastically responded with, "I know, right?"
You're with Barnaby in another room. Billie is in the living room with Cindy and Fantoccio. Cindy's sitting close to Billie as Billie is looking at videos from YouTube on her phone. She found more kid friendly ones for Cindy's innocent little eyes.
Fantoccio says, "Ugh. Come on. Put it on some fight scene from Mortal Kombat or something." Billie says, "No, Fantoccio. I've got Cindy. I like Mortal Kombat too, but she doesn't need to be seeing anything violent right now."
Fantoccio says, "Ugh. At least something in between." Billie thinks of something and she says, "Ah. Got one. I don't know if she'll like it, but it's worth a shot. An anime millions and millions out there love."
Fantoccio chuckles. Billie says, "What?" Fantoccio says, "You were so high off of those brownies." Billie says, "I did it for (Y/N). Then again, I did feel... less stressed. Mellow and all." Fantoccio laughs and says, "You have such a big crush on (Y/N)... But yeah. Weed does that do you. Depends on what kind. I had some strong shit, too." Billie says, "Please tell me you didn't have those for Cindy? The rest of us felt nothing."
Fantoccio says, "I don't give babies brownies with weed in them. Like I told Barnaby and (Y/N)... I'm not that low. At least be close to your late teens for that. Like you. Besides, the bigger dish of brownies had no weed in them. Just the smaller pan."
Billie says, "Good." Fantoccio says, "You really are the best babysitter for these guys." Billie says, "Let's not talk more about this. I'm playing the opening theme to this anime." Fantoccio says, "Proceed, goat girl."
Billie gets up and turns the TV on. She gets to YouTube on there. She sits back down next to Cindy. Billie gets to her channel from her phone and she finds Pop Team Epic. She finds the season 2 theme and she says, "Here. Let's see what this does." She clicks on it from her phone.
It comes on the TV and it's the theme and intro to Pop Team Epic, season 2. Cindy looks ahead and her eyes widen in interest. She gets down from the couch and she walks closer to the TV. She sits down.

Fantoccio says, "Holy crap. It's actually working!" Billie says, "She's interested, already!" Cindy smiles and giggles. She moves her head to the beat of the theme song and she says, "Ba ba ba." She's got a smile on her face. Billie gets up and says, "Wow."
She runs out of there and yells, "(Y/N)! Barnaby!" She sees you and Barnaby running to her. You say, "What's up?" Billie says, "I think I may have found Cindy's new favorite show." You say, "Oh? What is it?"
Barnaby says, "Oh, do tell us. We'll play it for her when she wants." Billie says, "Pop Team Epic. I just showed the intro from season 2 on the TV from my YouTube account and she's already loving it." You look in the living room.
You see Cindy watching the show Pop Team Epic and she's already captivated. She's giggling at parts. You smile. Barnaby says, "I know this isn't intended for a baby, but it's not too bad. She's laughing and loving it, right?" Billie says, "She wasn't even this interested in the actual kid friendly shows I tried to show her. This got her. Pop Team Epic."
You all look as Cindy is hooked on Pop Team Epic." You say, "I've watched a few of these episodes myself and liked it. Looks like Cindy found her favorite TV show." Barnaby says, "It does look interesting and funny. Hoo hoo."
You all watch as Cindy is focused and captivated when watching Pop Team Epic and laughing as stuff happens. You all laugh with her. Barnaby says, "Oh hoo hoo. I can't blame her for laughing. This is funny. What kind of anime is this?"
You say, "One unique from most others. Some call it comedy. Some call it shit-post anime. Like a meme or weird post on YouTube, but in anime form. Either way, it's funny and stands out from most others. Like one that has only one or two episodes. Punch Punch Forever."
Billie says, "I saw that one, too. I couldn't stop laughing at the main character's facial expressions." You say, "Oh god. That one cracked me up." Barnaby says, "You'll have to show me more of these. While I was a ghost, I was watching a lot of Naruto and Death Note. Oh, and Kill La Kill."
You say, "Oh man. Kill La Kill was a god tier for me. So was Death note, Naruto and One Piece. The Simpson's even did a Treehouse of Horror parody of Death Note and the writers of the actual anime worked on that one."
Fantoccio says, "(Y/N). Seeing that you're a huge anime fan... did your mom have any favorites?" You say, "Yeah. Dragonball Z which I also love. Ghost in the Shell. Sailor Moon. Mobile Suit Gundam. Pokemon. She actually introduced me to Pokemon and Sailor Moon when I was little." Billie grins and says, "Nice. You became an anime lover from your mom."
You say, "Trust me. She and my now late dad were anime fans. She told me he was a fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion, Dragon Ball Z and... I think it was called Outlaw Star." You all look at Cindy who's already interested in her new favorite show, Pop Team Epic. Fantoccio says, "Looks like you have a new major anime fanatic in your hands. Your own daughter."
Barnaby says, "I would rather my daughter be an anime fanatic than anything hateful or judging others for their imperfections. We're raising her that way. Pop Team Epic may be a great example for her. Look at my little one... She loves this." You all look and she's giggling.
Billie says, "There are more episodes. This is actually season two. I'll show her season one. The intro theme's good in that one, too. I kind of picked something out that would interest her more than what I was showing her." You say, "Thank you, Billie." You all sit in the living room as you watch Cindy become interested in her new favorite TV show.
