Night approaches. You're at Billie and her mom's house. You told them what had happened with Regina and they were shocked. Billie knew it was Barnaby's doing. You did too. He left that note for you and the 'hoo hoo' at the end was a dead giveaway because of his hoots when he laughs.

Billie says, "My god. You just can't catch a break, can you?" Belle says, "Who's doing all of this?" You finally spill your guts and you look at her saying, "Barnaby!" She looks at you. Billie says, "She's not lying. I knew the whole time and at first, she didn't want to believe it." You say, "But now, I'm convinced. A-and it upsets me to no end." You sigh and you look away.

Belle figures it out and she says, "(Y/N)... Was there something going on between you and that ghost owl?" You nod and you say, "Yes. Well, WAS is right." You look at her and you say, "At first, things were great. I felt I had the best relationship with any guy or chick. He did things for me nobody else did. He treated me right. But then all of these recent murders happen. Billie found us out and tried to convince me that it was he who did the deed. Turns out... she was right. Barnaby told me, himself. I left him." 

Belle says, "My god. I'm so sorry. And you recently lost your friend, Regina." You sigh and you say, "Found her hanging in the pavilion at the park." Billie hisses and says, "Wow. You didn't tell me that." You sigh and you sit back. You look away. They notice your expression. You look at Billie and you say, "Now I know who's next." 

Billie says, "Who?" You sigh and you get up. You yell, "I can't say!" You run out of there. Both Billie and Belle yell, "(Y/N)!" Billie realizes it and she says, "Uh oh." Belle says, "Sweetie?" Billie says, "It's ME. He tried before and he'll try again." She gets up and runs out of the house. Belle gets up and says, "Billie?! Billie, no!!" 

Billie runs to your house and she gets to your front door. She knocks loudly. The door opens and you stand there. You say, "Get in here." You pull her close when suddenly, you hear that familiar laughter. That hoot. You gasp and you and Billie look up. You see a familiar ghost owl flying in the sky. He's laughing maniacally. You say, "Fuck." You pull Billie in and you shut the door. 

You run to your room and Billie follows you. Billie says, "(Y/N)?" You grab your suitcase and you grab some clothes. You say, "Billie. I'm getting your mom. She, you, Oscar and I are getting the fuck out of here." She says, "What?" You say, "Yeah. Barnaby's going to get to you. We need to move, fast." She says, "(Y/N)! He's a ghost! He's powerful!... He'll get to us, no matter what. Unless..." 

You hear Barnaby yelling, "YOU LEAVE ME, (Y/N)! EVERYONE YOU LOVE AND CARE ABOUT DIES!!" You say, "Fuck you, you asshole!!" You put as many clothes in your suitcase as fast as you can and you slam the suitcase shut. You zip it up and you grab Billie's hand saying, "Come on. Let's get your mom and Oscar and we'll bail." 

You run out of the house with your suitcase and you run to Billie's house. You get in the house and Belle sees you guys. You say, "Belle. Grab Oscar. We're leaving Goatshire." She says, "What?" You say, "Come on, Belle! Please?" She sighs and nods. She picks Oscar up and says, "I'm forgetting my clothes. Come on. Both of you." You all run out of the house and you stop.

You see Barnaby causing chaos throughout all of Goatshire. He's laughing maniacally as the citizens of Goatshire run away, screaming. Billie's two friends Lily and Lou are running, as well. The twins who lost their mom by Barnaby's hands are running, too. 

Barnaby breaks a window to the nearest house with his fists and he reaches in there. He laughs as he feels around and feels a microwave in the kitchen. He opens the door, reaches his hands around to feel a few silver spoons, forks, etc laying around, he grabs them and sticks them in the microwave. He shuts the door and starts it. He laughs and moves away.

He says, "Any minute now, this house will blow!!" He laughs maniacally. You say, "Shit. Come on!" You, Billie, Belle and Oscar make a run for it. The microwave in the kitchen suddenly catches fire and there's an explosion coming from the kitchen. Barnaby looks over at your direction to see you and the other three running. He smirks and heads that way.

As you run towards Goatshire village limits, you suddenly see a crack appear to make some of the ground fall, preventing all of you from leaving the village. You hear Barnaby's laughter. You yell, "Fuck!!" You look around and you look the direction of the woods. You point over and you say, "There!" You all run for the woods. 

Barnaby sees this and he grins. He heads that way. Before you can make it into the woods, Billie suddenly gets snatched up by a pair of dark clawed hands and she yelps. You and Belle stop. You look to notice Billie missing. You gasp and you both turn around. You yell, "Billie!!" Belle says, "Sweetie?!" You both run that way. Oscar jumps out of Belle's arms and runs the same way.

You get to the middle of Goatshire and you stop. You see Barnaby standing there. He's got Billie held close and has a knife to her neck. She's trying to try her way out of his wing. You yell, "Barnaby! Let her go!!" He says, "Now, why should I, huh? Afraid of losing your precious goat? Hoo hoo hoo hoo! Surrender to me, (Y/N)!!" He puts the point of the knife to the side of Billie's neck and she gasps.

You growl and you say, "What good is this going to do, Barnaby?!" He looks down at you and he has the angry expression. He says, "I thought you and I were happy! I thought you loved ME! I guess I was wrong! It was all about the wine and the sex, wasn't it?! You thought I was using you to get to Goatshire, didn't you?!" 

You say, "What are you talking about, Barnaby?!" He laughs and says, "I saw you being lead out of the tavern, stumbling drunk off your rear end! I heard every little thing you said! You never loved me, at all! Did you?!" 

You suddenly shout, "Dammit, Barnaby! I did love you!!" Everyone is silent at this moment. Barnaby looks down at you. You grit your teeth and tears envelope your eyes. You sniffle and you say, "I really really did... And I still do." This catches the ghost owl's attention and he slowly moves the knife from Billie's neck.

You look at him and you say, "All the things you've done for me. I was happy with you. Best relationship I've been in with anyone. Only good one, even. The affection you showed me. I was hurt, Barnaby. I was fucking hurt when I found out you murdered those poor innocent people over me! Well, that one creepy pitbull guy deserved to have his prick sliced off! But you killed others that didn't deserve it!... It hurt me inside." 

Barnaby stretches his neck towards you and looks at you. You take a deep breath and you look at him. You say, "I'll be with you. You can take me back. I'll be yours." This brings a slight smile on Barnaby's face. 

You say, "But for fuck sakes! Stop harming and murdering those I care about and let her go!" He brings his neck back and he grins and says, "That's all I needed to hear, (Y/N) darling." He holds Billie out and drops her. She lands with a thud and she gets up. She looks to see you approaching Barnaby.

Tears come down your face as you look at Barnaby. He smiles and holds his hand out saying, "Come to me, my dear.~" You take his hand and he pulls you into his chest, wrapping his wings around you. You wrap your arms around him and you sob. He stretches his neck down and he puts it against the side of your face. He smiles, eyes closed. He sighs.

You say, "I'm miserable without you." You sniffle. He rubs your back and he says, "Stay with me forever... and nobody dies, my dear. So long as I have you by my side, in my wings." Belles comes over to Billie and holds her close. They look over at you and Barnaby. 

Barnaby says, "Let's start this over, honey. I'll take care of you just like I have before. Hoo hoo hoo. I'll make sure no harm comes to you." You pull away and you look at the ghost owl. You put your hands on his face and he has a wing around you. He has the half-lidded eyes and he says, "Be mine again, (Y/N). I'm lost without you. You understand? It drives me mad.~" 

You say, "Barnaby.~" You and Barnaby lean in and you kiss. A goat man says, "Dang. All of that just for the girl, huh?" The same familiar bartender Vicky nods and says, "Yep. That's the guy. Barnaby, himself." 

You and Barnaby pull away and he says, "Come live with me in my manor. Be mine. Hoo hoo hoo! We'll be the best of all couples, my dear." You grin and you say, "Oh, Barnaby.~" You hug your arms around the ghost owl and you have your face buried in his chest. He holds you close and he says, "Let's go." He takes off, taking you with him. 

Billie runs that way and yells, "(Y/N)!" She stops and she sighs. Belle approaches her and holds her close. Billie hugs her mom. Belle says, "She saved you. Let's let them be. All of Goatshire is safe, now." She looks over at the burning house and says, "Except for that home." 

Billie says, "No. No, you're right. I just... I really want to at least visit (Y/N) every now and then." She says, "You will, sweetheart. Come on. It's been a rough night. Let's go home." Billie and Oscar follow her back to their house.
