The Naruto shadow clone easily caught up to the Hyuga heiress and backed her into an alley way. Hinata was nervous, she always has been when it came to Naruto but this time around she was also desperate. "I just wanted your approval, I wanted to be closer to you. Naruto-kun I wanted so much from you but you didn't pick me, you picked that Nara." She seethed at the end and was smacked across the face for it. 

"He's my wife which makes him a Namikaze. Address him properly or we're gonna have more issues than your perverted obsession with me." He snarled as his jaws snapped to indicate he was serious about the threat.

"There's a rumor going around you know." She whispered wanting to see his reaction to the overheard gossip. Naruto rolled his eyes wondering what nonsense she was going to hear from her.

"I'm listening you babbling bitch, when did you stop stuttering. I guess even a puppy dick has some uses." He said taking his hand off her, he could smell her arousal and he was disgusted to say the least. 'An utter whore of a wife you have Kiba. She loves watching young boys get ready and sweaty.'

"I heard from Ino who heard from her father that maybe Shikamaru wasn't broken from the start." She hummed with a smirk. "Whatever you did to him he was well aware of your tactics." 

Naruto was surprised but it didn't show he gave a shrug and locked onto her Adam's apple watching her start the beginnings of choking. "You must think I'm blind not to see through my own wife. I married him for fuck's sake. Whatever this is your saying, is and always will be theory to try and explain what the fuck is going on between us. Your not included Hinata, never even been considered for a side character." His finger tips glowed a bright blue as he touched her temple.

Naruto growled, it was the dead of night silence seals were everywhere in their room so the others and the kids couldn't hear the absolute melting pot that was going on between the married couple. "Why did you learn them and so help me Shikamaru if I don't get the truth I'm fisting your ass so hard your gonna spasm on it." 

Shikamaru felt a delicious shiver run through him. That was what he would appreciate but what he didn't though was the way Naruto was tearing himself up about something that was long buried and forgotten for the last eight years. "I learnt them so I could hold you."

Silence reigned and Naruto looked at him confused, Shikamaru sighed as he tugged at loose strands of his hair. "I was learning them to go out on a solo search for you. Before the Uchiha came to the village our advanced Shadow techniques were the only thing that could keep a tailed beast detained. We eat shadows of objects, nature, living animals and if we're bold humans. They turn to dust while our shadows become tangible enough to hold down anything. In my case to hold you should you have fought against me."

"So I-"

"Yes you did break me." Shikamaru sighed running his hand through the blond locks he loves. "You made me yours in your way Naruto and I wouldn't change it for the world. I loved it, every second of it. Besides I've always been yours even when I didn't know it."

Naruto pulled him into a hug and sighed in both relief and disappointment. He was glad that Shikamaru wasn't lying, he could sense it but he was also ruined because now the only little bit of hope he had that maybe he didn't break him was now lost in the wind.

"We can use it to our advantage." Shikamaru murmured into his chest. "Judging from this rumor it would seem one of the people that were at our little family training day mentioned it to him."

"Most likely Kakashi, he seemed to be particularly interested when I mentioned I made their shadows thicker." Shikamaru sighed as he felt a kiss on his forehead.

"So their angle would be why did you learn it if you had no idea you were going to be snatched by me?" Naruto pushed him back until his feet hit the bed and Shikamaru fell with him hovering over him. 

"They'll try to say I was looking for a way to bring you home or be with you." Shikamaru moaned as Naruto licked a stripe over his neck before sinking his fangs in to claim him. 

"But my plan came first so you rolled with it." Naruto hummed licking the slight blood off his lips. "Interesting but where do we see this going."

"Ino already knows I loved the rape so adding this would convince them that I'm completely off my rockers. They'll want to heal me or try to examine me. Get a source for all these 'irrational' decisions. Ino knows that I was aroused by the rape so it wouldn't be hard to bring this into play. Leave it to me." "Yeah in the Leaf village but in Kumo it's allowed and Shikamaru is affiliated with them whether you two old brutes want to admit it or not." Ino bit her nail a habit she picked up from Lady Tsunade. "Look tomorrow I'll go over and continue to get the story from his perspective. I'm going to ask him what's going on in regards to this aspect."

"I'll prepare the chamber we need to see into his mind. Find a root for all of this." Inoichi got up with a sigh, he patted Shikaku on his shoulder before heading out. Ino followed out after hugging the older Nara and Shikaku was left with his thoughts.

"You've changed so much Shikamaru and I don't know what to believe in anymore." Tears made their way down his face as the man grieved for his lost child a child who has been doing things not of the Nara nature. "Your a Namikaze huh? I never thought I would hate my best friend's last name like this. Not once did I think Naruto would be your breaking point."

Yoshino listened to her husband mumble to himself about where he went wrong and how he should've been more aware but it wasn't her husband's fault. It was Naruto's.
