Zak POV

We walked back into the place where I'd been staying. He grabbed my hand and chained me up again. While he was chaining me up he began to talk, "Stage One is starting soon."

"What?" I asked.

What was Stage One?

"It's your first test." He replied.

"What do I do in it?" I asked.

"That's confidential information." He replied. "What?" I said, "You can't just not tell me!"

"Actually I can, plus I wasn't even supposed to tell you that there even was something called Stage One," He said, "Consider yourself lucky."

He finished chaining me up and stepped back. As soon as he did we heard footsteps. We turned to the door and saw Dave standing there. I looked at him quietly. For the past week or so I haven't seen anyone else except Darryl.

Darryl.

I looked back at him and saw that he was glaring at Dave. He had some sort of hatred in his eyes.

Why would Darryl work for someone that he hated?

Is he being kept here against his will?

So many questions flew through my mind as Dave stepped closer to Darryl slowly.
