My date was really fun! Maya was so surprised and happy and I think she had a great time, at least that's what she told me.

I was going to write a little about it last night, but then I ended up sleeping over at Maya's apartment and I didn't have my journal with me so I had to wait until now.

I guess the whole date wasn't that special, we just ate at the restaurant and talked and shared this fancy chocolate cake thing for dessert. Maya actually ate most of it, but that's fine because she was really happy about it and seeing her happy made me happy.

After we were all done eating we went back to Maya's apartment and I slept over, but I already told you that. Sleeping at Maya's place is great because she doesn't have an annoying step brother that always tries to get into everyone else's business.

Maya's apartment is quiet and no one ever bothers her and she says she's going to get a cat soon and she always has pretzels so we're never hungry. Don't tell her, but I don't think she's ever going to get a cat. She'd probably forget to feed it. Or she'd try to feed it pretzels.

There's really nothing else for me to say, I guess. I'm at home now, Maya had this thing to do so she drove me home and now I'm here. In my room. Like always.

I've been doing a lot better lately, just so you know. I mean, I know you know that I'm doing better, Carol, I talk to you all the time so I'm assuming that you can tell that I'm better now, but I just thought I'd write it down again to make it official.

I'm happy. I don't feel like I did last March. I think that soon, as long as nothing else happens, everyone might move on from what happened a few months ago and things can go back to normal. At least I hope they can, I hope I can keep this up.
