Shadow POV

*Ring, ring

The phone rang again. I rushed to my room, and quickly locked the door. Finally, I can escape from that drunk crazy man. " I just took my medicine! God damn you, old man! " My head is dizzy, My body is hard to move, and looking around for my phone is even more difficult. I lost lots of blood from what my uncle do to me, my white eye is now bleeding, and it seems like it won't stop soon.

"Ugh, where the hell is my phone!?" - One hand covering the bleeding eye, the other struggling to find the phone. Today couldn't get any worse!

Lastly, I found my phone. It keeps on ringing for 10 minutes. I Guess Arashi has something important to say to me.

-Heyyyyyyyy - I accept the call.

- Dude! Did something happen!? I've called you for the past 20 minutes! You don't sleep at this time, why didn't you answer my call!? -Immediately, Arashi asked me a lot of questions. I just sat there and laughed.

- Calm down, I'm okay - I put the phone on the side, turn on the speakerphone and go to the drawer to find bandages.

- Are you sure? Are you lying to me? - Arashi asks again.

After what he said, I hesitated to answer. As I said before, I'm a liar and always will be. Even though I can't let my friends worry about me.

- Yes, but listen first. Like what it said, the person that writes me this - is the murderer behind all of this mess. Seem like Haruka has been a push off the rooftop. She didn't jump. It's is plan up. All of this mess is just a fucking game to them.

- A game!? What the hell!??? All of this is a plan!? For what??? - My hand is still covering the bleeding eye, and I'm pissed off. What did I just hear? Is this some kind of joke? CAUSE IT'S NOT FUNNY AT ALL.

- Yes, I know. They want me to feel despair...

- Dude, I swear to god. If I hear any more of this bullshit, I'll go kill myself right this instant. - Finally stopped the bleeding. I go to the phone and put it near my ear. Just so I can be able to sit down and take a seat. 

- Wait, no! Don't! I'm sorry!

- I'm only joking. Calm down. Haven't we promised that we won't leave each other side? Anyway, can you tell me more? What do they mean by "despair"?

- They said that I made them like this. I made them broken.

- Bro, what the fuck are you saying?? I don't understand. What tf did you do, Arashi ?- I am confused by what he's saying.

- At first, I didn't know what I did that made someone broken. I try to figure it out on the way home. That's why I didn't talk to you, sorry.

- Arashi, this is not funny. You killed someone and even worse that person is your twin. - I replied helplessly.

- Anyways, Taiya has a very close friend. She once talks to ly. But that time was for threatening me for staring at Taiya. The thing is... I don't remember her. But I think she is the one who wrote the letter.

I don't know what to say right now. What he just told me was too shocking. I can't calm down yet. Then, something suddenly came to my mind. 

       Does the spirit that always stuck with him Taiya?

That makes complete sense. Since the day I met him, I always see her. I can't see clearly cause it's just a black blur. Taiya - she hated Arashi. That is the reason why she stuck with him. Arashi told me once, He has a voice in his head. No, it's not a voice...

- Y-yeah I'm listening - Get rid of the questions in my head. I will think about it later. What I need to focus on right now is the letter.

- You didn't say anything earlier. Did something happen? 

- N-no, I just space out. Sorry for that. Is there anything else in the letter? - I dodged his question. I can't tell him about Taiya. Even so, no one would believe it. Even Aiko doubted me...

- Oh, I forgot to tell you. Please, stay alert. They might hurt you and Aliaa. 

- (Dude, I'm already hurt) Did you say this to Aliaa?

- I only texted her that she has to be careful. She did answer yes, so I hope she's fine.

- ok, try to remember something about that girl. It's four am Take a rest, Arashi. I'll be going now.

- Bye. Tomorrow, I'll come to your house to wait. - He ended the call

I lay down on the bed. It's troublesome. I have to increase the dose again, or else I go crazy. Like seriously, over-dose those pills cause death. And I wouldn't want that.

"I wonder if Aliaa is okay?" - I'm worried. I have a bad feeling about this. 

But, the thing that bothers me the most right now is: how am I supposed to feel about this? How do I... How do I look at him after this?

Arashi POV 

The sun began to emerge. That light shines on everything in the room, bringing incredible light and warmth.

I packed my bag and then left the room. After the call with Shadow last night, I couldn't rest. "He must really hate me " - I thought.

Haruka's case alone has made him quite tired, and then about Taiya... I don't think he can handle all of that. 

"Why do you worry about him? He will turn his face and lie to you"

"Shut up!"

Since the day, Taiya died. I can't have the life that I want. Nobody wants to play with me, mom even hates me more. In addition, I start hearing this voice - the voice seems very similar to hers. I can't keep her out of my mind. She stuck there and annoyed me so much. But, she's died, I can't blame anyone but myself for hearing her. Soon I get used to her and don't mind it anymore. 

Soon, I reached Shadow's house. Right in front of the house was his silhouette.

- Hello, Arashi!  - he waved and ran towards me.

Seeing him, I was surprised, what's wrong with his left eye!? It looked terrible, even though he had bandaged it, I could see some blood still seeping out.

- What's wrong with your eyes!? You told me you were fine last night!

- Come on, calm down. I apologize for lying. Yesterday, the old man got a little drunk, that's all. 

- Shadow, you can tell me! Why did you lie!?

- There's so much going on. I don't want you to worry anymore okay? Come on, let's go to school. - He dragged me to school.

- It's not good to keep girls waiting. - Shadow laughed.

After we got to school, we waited for 15 minutes but we can't see Aliaa anywhere. 

- Where is Aliaa? - Shadow looked around.

- Idk, She always goes to school first. It's unusual to not see her by this time. 

Suddenly the school drum sounded.

- Damn it, Shadow. Aliaa might be in class. Let's go, or else the two of us were not punished to stay at school. - I dragged him into class.

- Yes, yes - he said, looking a little annoyed.

The teacher came in, and Shadow and I were both worried. Please, don't let Aliaa get hurt.
