A/N: hello my muffins! I come bearing a short chapter to relieve you of this cliff hanger 😊 I'm sorry it is short but I will have a longer chapter in the next update and it will be fun and awesome and all that good stuff... Hopefully... Any way! Enjoy!

(By the way, it's still Mia's POV)

"IAN!!!!" I cried and ran over to him. I knelt down by him and rolled him onto his back. He had a small gash next to his eye where he hit a corner. His eyes looked dazed (no surprise) and his face was splotchy as he gasped to catch his breath. He laid back, closed his eyes and continued gasping.

"Calm down Ian," I say gently as I take off my hoodie and ball it up and place it under his head. "Your ok."

"I'll be right back." Rin said and he sprinted out of the room.

A few minutes later he returns with a first aid kit. He knelt down by us and opened it up. Inside was not very much but it had things like cloth, medical tape and hydrogen peroxide. He passed the first aid kit to me.

"You probably are better at this than me..." He said.

I take out two of the cloths and use one to wipe the blood off from around the gash, and wiped it off his head. I then grab the hydrogen peroxide and pour a little in the cap and pour that onto the gash to clean it out. Ian groans and scrunches his eyes at the discomfort.

"I know Ian, I'm sorry." I whisper.

His eyes flutter half open. "Are you guys ok?" He whispers, voice hoarse and crackly.

"We're fine." Rin assures him.

Ian tries to sit up but I gently push on his shoulder keeping him down. "You need to rest and let your head heal." I tell him.

He groans in protest and lays back down and closes his eyes. "I'm fine." He mutters and falls asleep.

Rin folds up the other piece of cloth and grabs a piece of tape and tapes the cloth to the gash.

"It'll help the gash heal and stop bleeding. We'll see how it is after we get some sleep." He says.

I nod, he said after we get some sleep which gives me the feeling that days are either very short or it's always dark.

"You should sleep. Slender'll leave us alone for awhile, hopefully. I think he was trying to buy himself time to make those challenges." Rin said.

"If something happens, wake me up." I reply.

He nods and I crawl a few feet away and lay down using my arm for a pillow and fall asleep.

*Rin's POV*

Mia and Ian are asleep, but I can't. I'm too worried about Slenders warning and his actions. Why did he come to us and and why did he throw Ian? Was it because he played Slenders game before and failed? Maybe. I don't know, all I know is that I have to keep them safe. They might me my only chance to defeat slender and save my family. I look at Ian, his eyes are scrunched like he's trying to sleep but can't. A little while later they relax like he's fallen asleep. 'I'm sorry Ian.' I think.

I lean back against the wall and close my eyes. Sleep will help. Hopefully.
