Chapter 15: Screams

*Rin's POV* (back to when they were resting)

I had drifted off to sleep for a little while but was awoken by something grabbing my mouth and throat. I choked trying to catch a breath and my eyes snapped open to see Slender right in front of my face. I tried to scream but both tentacles tightened allowing no air to pass through so all that came out was a choke. My eyes darted and I saw Ren picking up a sleeping Mia and carrying her out of the room. I squirmed and managed to shake Ian's shoulder before Slender pulled me to my feet and wrapped two other tentacles around me. One around my arms and torso and the other around my legs so I couldn't move.

"What...?" Ian groaned sleepily and rubbed his eyes open.

Ren had snuck back in and hid in the shadows. Ian saw me and jumped up his eyes wide. Ren took this chance to sneak behind him.

"Rin!" Ian cried.

I wanted to yell to him to look out behind him. To run or something but I couldn't move much less talk. Breathing was already difficult. Slender's grip tightened as though warning me not to try anything. Like I could.

'I told you you'd see me again.' Slender's voice filled the room. 'There is no escape.'

Ren rose something above Ian's head and swung down. I tried to yell for Ian to move but Ren had already hit him in the head knocking him out cold. I tried squirming free but Slender held me tight and wrapped a tentacle around my eyes blindfolding me. He lifted me off the ground and started carrying me away.

I had no idea where we were going. All I could hear were Ren's and Slender's footsteps and the sound of Ian being dragged across the floor. Eventually Ren's footsteps faded down different direction. Which meant I was alone with Slender.

I felt Slender set me down on something cold and he strapped down my arms and legs and released the tentacles. I blinked and looked around. We were in a dark room with one faintly glowing lightbulb above me. I was strapped down to a metal table and Slender was no where to be seen. He must've teleported. I didn't see Ren or the proxy either. I was alone for now.

As soon as I thought that, a door opened and Slender walked in pulling Ren behind him by the wrist. Ren looked very uncomfortable and my mind raced as one question burned in my mind. What were they planning to do? Actually, what was Slender planning to do? Ren looked like he wanted no part of this. He actually looked like himself, like my brother. Slender pulled out a knife. Ren's eyes widened slightly and I closes my eyes and braced myself.

*Ian's POV*

I awoke in a room chained to a wall. Mia was tied to a chair and gagged a few feet away. She didn't look hurt so she must've slept through the whole thing. The room was dark and it was hard to see. My head ached and I pulled agains my shackles. They wouldn't budge. Both my wrists and ankles were chained up so I couldn't even touch the ground. My heart pounded as I noticed there was no sign of Slender or Rin. Maybe he escaped somehow but with the grip Slender had on him that was doubtful. But why was he separated from us? Were they going to kill him first? I squirmed and shifted at the thought causing the shackles to dig into my wrists hard enough to draw blood. I winced as the metal cut through flesh causing the warm, red, sticky liquid to drip down my arms. The silence through out the room sent shivers up my spine causing my hair to stand on end. I wanted Mia to wake up or for Rin to burst in the room and get us out of here. I sighed and just listened to my the eerie silence which was really boring. I closed my eyes and started thinking of how to get out but my thoughts were interrupted my a sharp, familiar scream of pain. My eyes snapped open. Rin!
