"R-Ryu!" You called out holding a package you had packed for your crush. You had a small frame making you delicate and petite and not to mention your shy nature. Your pretty much the complete opposite of Ryu who was bulky and bursting with confidence. Though he wasn't always the best at the emotional side. You would leave him small hints from time to time but in the end he wouldn't get it.
"Thanks (y/n)" Ryu said wiping his forehead with a towel. The two of you sat down while Ryu ate. One he was done eating you guys started talking about trivial stuff "so uh, are you interested in anybody?" You asked nervously.
"Um no I guess" was his reply and it also shattered your heart "really? Are you sure?" You squeaked, he nodded "yes"
You couldn't take it anymore, you stood up "a-alright then I-l'll just be going n-now" you stood up, Ryu gripped your tiny hand in his "wait" he paused for a moment "I want to thank you for the lunch and...being a good friend" then he released his grip leaving you to run off.
