I just thought it was a good idea okay?

In the Kingdom of Luthena*.
There was once a prince named Pit; who was the son of the good queen Palutena.

Now, the prince was a very playful and mischievous child. He would often bother butlers, maids, and even the gardeners to play with him.

The queen was very busy and sadly, had no time for her son.

The queen happened to be visiting a small town in her domain when she noticed a poor little girl approach her with a basket of fruits.

The little girl was very dirty and she seemed to be in poverty but the smile she wore was worth millions and was brighter then the sun.

The guards stood in front of the queen ready to defend her in suspicion of the child but the queen simply pushed past them.

The queen thanked the little girl for the fruit and asked her what was her name and where were her parents.

"My name is (y/n)"

The girl also replied saying she had none and she had lived her life picking fruits out of trees to eat.

The queen could tell she was a kind and humble girl and decided that she had found a playmate for her son.

The queen brought the little girl back to her palace and ordered her to be cleaned and dressed in the finest of garments.

The servants were skeptical of the little girl but followed the queen's orders anyway.

She was washed and clothed in the finest garments and brought to the young prince to play with.

The young prince was happy he had a playmate to play with him; the best part was that she didn't mind getting dirty.

The two played and played and the years flew by.

Soon the young prince begun to be taught by the royal scholars in ruling the kingdom.

(Y/n) soon worked as Pit's personal made and made a living for herself.

The two barely saw each other because Pit was so busy studying and (y/n) was busy doing chores such as cleaning the prince's room, cleaning his laundry, and tucking him to bed when he fell asleep.

Yes, he still needed to be tucked into bed.

The two hardly played with each other anymore and soon the prince was no more a mischievous and playful child; he was now a grown adult. A young man worthy to be king.

(Let's say around his late teens yeah?)

(Y/n) did not serve the prince anymore; she had been replaced. She now worked with the gardeners in picking fruits off the tallest of trees in the royal garden.

Pit walked down the hallways of the palace and found something under a table that held a vase full of flowers.

Slowly bending down he picked up the item, it was a dirty bracelet braided out of flowers.
Time had slowly eaten it away and the flower were now brown instead of the vibrant blue and pink it was before.

A small smile graced the prince's lips and he was filled with childhood memories with his old friend.

But that smile turned into a frown.

What was her name again?

He had almost completely forgotten her because of all his studies.

He dropped the bracelet for the maids and butlers to clean up and took a stroll in the royal garden.

He spotted a young woman sitting on a branch and picking out some of the juiciest oranges he has ever seen.

The young woman was quite a sight herself; lithe and graceful yet strong and sturdy. Bright (e/c) eyes along with (h/l) (h/c) hair. A gentle smile on her lips as she held a orange taking in the fresh yet sharp fragrance of the citrus fruit.

He walked towards her "hello!" He greeted cheerfully; it felt so good to say it like that again.

Startled, the woman almost dropped the orange "o-oh! Your highness! I mean-hi! Er...Hello Pit!" She said nervously and began climbing down with the basket in her arms.

Pit...nobody would call him that...

"I couldn't help but notice you from afar, may I have one of those oranges?" Pit asked politely.

"Of course!"

You handed an orange over but quickly retracted your hand "I have to peel it first" you supplied due to Pit's confused expression.

You peeled it and handed it over to the prince who delightfully enjoyed his sweet treat.

"It's been a long time"
Pit turned to her confused "uh, I'm sorry but; have we met before?" He asked.
"You forgot who I am?"
"Am I supposed to remember you?"
"I was your childhood friend but we barely got to see each other once you started studying"
"W-wait...(y/n)...?"

You smiled gratefully "I'm happy you remember, but do you remember those times when we would climb trees just to eat the fruits?"
"Yes! Why?"
"Want to do it again?"
"Sure!"

For the rest of the day you and Pit climbed the trees eating the fruits they bore.

Pit felt so happy and carefree; he remembered what it was like to be a kid again.
