"Hey Ike?" You asked sitting next to him.

"Hmmm?" He asked, he was cleaning his sword but you needed to ask him an important question.

"Do you think I'm too...boyish?" You asked nervously.
"Not at all"
"Are you sure? I mean-if you want I could be more...gentle or maybe more girly?"

Your tomboy-ness wasn't odd at all. In fact the clothes, your attitude, and even how you fight was more boyish then girly.
You were starting to think that Ike would've preferred a girl who was more dependent on him or maybe a girl like Peach in general.

"I said it's fine, I love you because you're you" he said setting down his sword that he was cleaning "and nothing is going to change that"

He kissed your forehead before going back to cleaning his sword "I-Ike..." You stammered, a strong blush was starting to creep on to your face. It wasn't helping your reputation.

He smiled warmly at you "your independent and I like that, I don't need to take care of you in a fight and you can hold your own but remember that you can always rely on me whenever you need too"

You liked how he said 'need' and not 'want.'

You leaned on his shoulder and smiled "who knew you could be so sweet?" You teased.

From that compliment Ike started to ignore you, which tells you that he didn't like being teased...whoops.
