Once upon a time...

You huffed as you carried a bucket full of water to fill up the water box for the pigs. You smiled as your favorite horse: Sumia (don't know why I chose that, it was either Cordelia or Sumia) galloped passed by you, she was the only expensive thing your family owned. You see your family was really poor and tended to cattle to sell and eat. Your house only had two floors, one bedroom which was your own and a small kitchen on the lower floor. Your family was once rich until your father lost all his riches in a storm. Now you and your family lived in rags and had nothing extravagant but a white horse. Your friend who lived nearby came running "hey (Y/N)!" She said smiling as she ran towards you, you smiled "Lucina how are you?" You asked holding a bucket-again-filled with water "just fine! Hey you know I should help! You already work in what? The bakery, doing other people's chores and you still mange your family's farm! I'll help!" She insisted, Lucina is a good friend, her father is a swords man and trains young soldiers in result he trains Lucina too "it's fine" you insisted smiling even brighter to show her you were fine "no way! I'm helping! One way or another! Also you have mud on your face" she said taking the bucket from you by force and was careful not to spill any water. You blew your (H/C) hair out of your face and wiped the smudge of mud off "alright I guess" you said signing in defeat while Lucina smiled proudly and began to do your chores. You sat down on a small wooden chair on your house porch it's a dusty wooden one that has cobwebs everywhere on the corners but it was still nice anyway. You watched as Lucina did all your chores in a flash "done!" She said running up to you and catching her breath but she wasn't covered in mud, her hair wasn't as messy as yours and the dress she wore had a small smudge of mud that was nothing compared to your shirt "really? You did everything?" You asked surprised. Your chores were was the same, feed the pigs, collect the eggs, feed the chickens and pen the pigs. "Yup! All of them!" She said proudly "now let's go to my place! Sword training remember?" She said tugging your arm "alright as a thanks for doing my chores" you said getting up and dusting your pants. That's right pants, your family couldn't afford a dress for you, so you wore pants which honestly isn't so bad. You called to your mum that you were done and was going to go out and your mum replied with a 'ok!' so you let Lucina drag you over to her house's courtyard where she trains.
"Hyaaa!" You shouted as you hacked a dummy to shreds. Lucina was a good teachers and she has been teaching you for a good while now. You and Lucina started talking about trivial stuff until you both heard a familiar voice that you two despised "hey girls" you two turn around to see...Captain Falcon. Rumors state that he was the captain if the ship The Falcon and had such a big ego that he nicknamed himself Captain Falcon, which was odd since a falcon is a bird and birds fly not swim. You two groaned and glared at him "hey (Y/N) he said sending a wink your way which you declined by looking away "what do you want?" Lucina said glaring daggers at him. Captain Falcon was known a lot of things: His ego, his flirty behavior and his bad habit of dating and dumping women. "Nothing I see you ladies are busy, so I'll drop by later" Captain Falcon said "until we meet again my sweet" he said trying to kiss your hand but you pulled it away and took a few steps back and glared at him, which he took as a challenge and walked away.
For the past few days Captain Falcon has been sending you gifts, like Chocolate (which were very expensive) flowers (which were not) and dresses but you declined all of them, he kept coming up to you and proposing to you but you also declined. You knew Captain Falcon was rich but you didn't like his attitude and his looks.
"I found a job at the port" your father suddenly exclaimed at the dinner table. Your father was jobless and mostly stayed home doing what a housewife would do and your mother would go out everyday to work. It's the opposite."that's wonderful! But to get to the harbor you have to go through the forest, and it'll take hours to get there" (M/N) reasoned "that's why early tomorrow morning I'll leave for work" your father said smiling while you excused yourself from the dining table to wash the dishes.
(F/N) saddled up Sumia and helped himself up and rode off. Early in the morning it was still dark and the forest was a very treacherous place especially when wolves can attack you under the cover of darkness. Sumia trotted through the forest nervously, she didn't like the woods she could sense danger. (F/N) felt rain and looked up into the sky to see the clouds started darkening "we better hurry Sumia" he told the cautious horse nervously then all of the sudden there was a growl, (F/N) looked around nervously and sure enough there was a wolf, along with it came more: 17 in all. AKA a bad sign. Sumia didn't need for a signal, she was a smart horse and took off into a run, but the wolves were fast and bit Sumia's leg  she neighed in panic and threw your father off. (F/N) landed with a thud and saw Sumia take off with a band of wolves after her. It was pouring now and your father broke his arm. He got up and from the corner of his eye he saw a dark castle, it was black with rusty gates and it seemed to be abandoned. With no choice he slowly made his way through the gates and into the castle.....

That's all for now it might be a bit slow, since my 'one shots' are very long but I hope you enjoyed it! Don't worry there will be a part 2 and maybe a part 3
