Angel's P.O.V

I opened my eyes to find myself on the same spot i blacked earlier.

Swiftly, i got up but felt my legs weird until i lost balance and fell on my knees.

"I...i can't feel my legs?..." i glanced down to see my body covered with white furr along with some fancy looking clothes.

I was starting to freak out, until i decided to check my hands and face. They felt the same.

"Am i...some sort of a monster?...or a mutant?...how was this possib-....wait a minute..." Slowly i tried getting up and walked over to the small pond that was near by. And saw my reflection.

My eyes went watery for a moment. I couldn't believe my eyes....how did i even transformed? Was it the orb? If it was, It not only gave me power....but maybe much more than that...

I decided to try to change myself back again a few times until I finally managed to succeed.

Suddenly, near footsteps was herd. It was coming towards my direction. I felt my ears twich everytime i herd a clinging sound.

I ran behind a giant rock that covered me full. I stood there and peaked a little to see a few creatures along with a unknown person wearing a long black cloak.

I watched and saw all of them scatter for something they were looking for. I felt my guts telling me that they were after me...

"Don't stop looking until you find her! Where not leaving here until-"

Suddenly, the person had stopped talking. Slowly there footsteps where coming towards me.

My heart was beating faster. How did they knew i was here? Can they sense me? What do i do?...this person probably knows where my friends are...i must find them!

Quickly i jumped behind the person who was about to discover me.

Slowly, he/she turned around and immediately recognized who he/she was...

"Ahh, never mind boys, it seems like i found what we've been looking for.."

I glared.

"Krystal..."

She chuckled evilly. "That's right. You must be the Angel that Fox always talked about..." She glared back.

In a blink of an eye, i was surrounded. The creatures that were with her, pointed there weapons at me. Sharp and pointy as they were, one of them poked me really hard that pushed me right to Krystal's direction.

"You're coming with us you freak!" Just as they we're about to grab me, i Immediately jumped out of there circle.

"What about you? Aren't you a freak too?" I said as i landed on my feet on the ground. I felt a heavy weapon behind my back and decided to reach for it and swang it around up in the air. Then threw it towards them before they came to get me. I saw a huge lightning bolt came out of it after it hit the floor. All of the creatures except for Krystal got hit by it and went straight in a coma.

I knew things were about to go down between me and her...

"How dare you!" Krystal charged at me with her staff sword.

As our weapons clashed against each others, we began to fight a non-stop epic, battle.

Krystal's moves were fast but not as fast as mine. I did my swinging with ease and so did she until she began to notice that i was beating her, bad.

"Krystal! Were you the one who started all this?!"

"No, but you can say that i'm involved with it sweetheart!"

"How could you?!....You betrayed us all!"

"I'm only doing this to get my revenge! You stole Fox away from me! And now, I will get him back from you!" She swang her sword with force that threw me across the field.

Slowly i got up and looked at her in the eyes with my green ones from a close distance.

".....No, Krystal....you're wrong....we both fell in love with each other. I have loved him for so long....probably more than you have compared to now. He was there for me. He always has......He was nothing compared to the other guys in my real world....Fox is special to me... He's my.... everything......" i turned around and pick up my sword.

"I don't expect you to understand...." I closed my eyes from beginning to cry. Remembering, the awful memories I had in the past. Remember how i was betrayed by love. Always cheated on, and always.....rejected......

There was a moment of silence...

I sensed Krystal's eyes were close to watering, almost hitting the floor. But there was anger in them. Filled with hate mixed with sadness. I kinda felt bad for her....Her look.....reminded me from some of the things that i've been threw.

I thought things for a moment as well as thinking threw for a moment. Until,

"....Krystal.........i-..........i really don't want to fight you....but if......Fox means a lot to you......t-then...........i'll let him go.........."

Krystals eyes widen as she couldn't believe what i said.

"......W-what are you saying?!"

"Krystal....." i walked over to her quietly and placed my hand on her shoulder. Trying to hold the tears from falling, to what i had just said...

"......Listen, You don't have to do this anymore. You can....have Fox back.....i promise i'll leave after all this is ends.....If you help me, that would be great"

She looked away for a moment as it looked like she was thinking.

"........Alright, i'll tell you everything i know..."

I looked back at her to see that she was willing to tell me the truth. To who was behind all this and why.

"Tell me along the way, we're waisting time. Are my friends alive...most importantly, are they safe?" I said concerndly and already to start walking.

She nodded her head as she followed along, as the creatures layed there unconscious.

"Yes. Well, you see.....Angel, Tabuu is...... back...he offered all of the bad guys a job to do for him. In return, our lives.....and money"

My eyes grew wider. "....Wait a minute, you"re lives??.....And that job was to kidnapp all of my friends?....why?"

" He would kill us if we didn't obey him......And yes, to use all of there power to create some sort of portal to access to you're world...."

I looked away from her shaking my head.

"......It....it doesn't make any sense to me....But why?! Why would he want to open a portal to my world?!"

Krystal nodded. "Yes, i know. I'm not sure why though....That's his plan...and also, he wanted you too. To complete his final plan"

"....But why me??.....I'm nothing special......" I looked back at her curiously.

"Because you are a special one. Something unique inside you makes you different from the rest of us...."

Krystal stopped in front of machine that was hidden behind a bush. She clicked a button on her wrist as we were both teleported to Bowser's head quarters.

The thought of what Krystal just told me, couldn't leave my mind. How would i know if Krystal wasn't lying to me? Or that she's even on the same side as me....She could betrayed me and take me right the boss's trap. I know i have some of the powers that the orb gave me but they weren't strong enough to tell if she was being honest. I wonder....if Tabuu's plan was true. Only one way to find out...

I looked around to see anything suspecious. I was alarmed and ready for anything that interfered me.

"Alright Krystal. Now that were here, please take me to my friends..."

She glanced around to see if there was any body guards around. Quietly, she leaded me the way.

I know....i know what some of you are thinking, but trust me, the next chapter will be good. Some of you will might like it and some of you won't or probably don't even care. To tell you the truth, this book is close to an end. I'm not sure how many more chapters but i know that it will end soon. Also, there may or may not be another sequel (book 3)....
