That same evening in Shantivan,

Anjali and Aarav walked inside RM with gloomy face. Nani, Maami, Payal, and Sheethal were already in the living room having evening beverage. Maami gossiping about her club friends and Nani patiently listening. Sheethal reading a magazine while Payal like always sitting silent.

Nani noticing Anjali and Aarav coming from outside asked "Anjali betiya where did you go? You did not even inform us. We were worried, it was only when HP informed you had taken Aarav out for park, we felt relief. You should have told anyone of us."

Aarav came and hugged Sheethal crying "ASR was very angry. He was not happy to see me."

Nani surprised "Chotte?"

She expectantly looked at Anjali "you went to park, right?"

Anjali getting teary "No, Aarav was missing Chotte so we both went to Gupta house." Shocking Nani, Maami, and Payal.

Payal "Di, how could you?"

Anjali getting confused seeing her getting angry and already emotional started crying "What wrong did I do? Why is everyone accusing me? Khushi ji was so rude. Chotte too talked harshly to me." And said what happened there.

Payal "Really Di? You don't know what wrong you did? You know Khushi left the house because of these two. And you took the same boy to my parent's house. And did not even tell any of us. If Khushi was rude then how it is wrong."

Nani "Payal betiya....."

Payal "Nahiin Dadi, she does not even understand anything other than her wish. She always does according to her wish. Not even caring how others are getting hurt. And it is always Khushi who is getting hurt. Khushi always does everything to make her happy, to make everyone happy but here she does not even respect her feelings. If you cannot make her happy at least don't give her pain."

Sheethal "Payal, why are you talking like that with Anjali? And what wrong she did? Aarav is child. If he missed ASR and she took him to see him then where is she wrong?"

Payal who never raised her voice at anyone shouted at her "Just shut up, this is our family matter. Don't interfere in it. You are guest and remain like one. I don't even know why you are still living here. It had been nearly month you came here saying not able to get a good house and still you cannot get it. If you have so much problem in securing a house, I'll help you. I'll ask Akash ji to tell his assistant or Aman ji to look for a house for you."

Anjali "Payal you cannot talk to her like that. She is our guest."

Payal "Really Di? Guest? Then tell her to be in her limits. *turning to Sheethal* will you leave from here? I'm having talk with my family and don't want any outsider here." Sheethal insulted and embarrassed took Aarav from there but stopped at the corridor in the upper floor trying to listen. Payal noticing it glared at her "Nani, Maa ji, Di if you people please come to study room it will be good, I think."

Maami "hello hi bye bye, but why?"

Payal "I did not finish my talk with Di. And I really want you people to be there too." She walked from there to the study room and stood waiting at the door. Nani to Anjali and Maami "come"

All three walked inside the room, Payal walking behind them closed the door knowing well now Sheethal cannot hear their talk as it is soundproof room.

Payal not wasting a second "Now tell me Di? Why did you take Aarav there? Did you not for once think about Khushi? Is Aarav so much important more than your brother and his wife? This family member? Do you want Khushi to leave Arnav ji?"

Anjali "No, I don't want that. Chotte loves Khushi ji so much. He will...." She stuttered crying.

Payal "He will not be able to live. But whatever you are doing is only creating mess in their life Di. Is it not enough we had already given Khushi pain indirectly that you are knowingly giving her pain?" Maami and Nani knows Payal is right and were really guilty to be part of hurting Khushi.

Anjali "I never wanted to hurt her. I just wanted to make Aarav happy. He was so sad......"

Payal "Di stop it please. Aarav.....Aarav......he is not your child. He is a stranger's child. He will leave one day. Don't get so much attached to him. I understand you miss your baby. You lost not once but twice but Di this is not the end. But you looking your dead child in Aarav is not right. Snap out of it, Di. You are just going to end hurting everyone close to you badly."

Nani "Payal betiya......."

Maami "Payal......."

Payal "No, let me talk. This is going too much. Everyone understands her pain. Knows she is going through tough time but it does not mean she drag everyone to hell."

Anjali not able to hear the harsh words from Payal crying left the room. Nani shaking her head, with her own eyes teary said "You should not have talked about the baby"

Payal "Till when you are going to mollycoddle her Dadi."

Maami "Payal do you even realize what you are talking?"

Payal "yes you people can see Anjali Di's suffering and pain but not Khushi's. Why? Because she is not daughter of this house. This happens every time. Every time something bad happens in Di's life it is Khushi who has to go through. When first time Khushi revealed Shyam's truth, Di did not believe her, believed us. Instead what happened we were blamed. Khushi has to hide from Di when it is no fault of hers. For Di she even went against Arnav ji to bring that Shyam back in her life knowing how difficult it must for her. When Arnav ji and Khushi had successfully revealed his truth, Di went into shock. They were newly married couple, but they never got to spend time with each other. Di needed Arnav ji beside her every minute. Khushi understood it. It had been two years to their marriage did they ever gone to their honeymoon. When they thought everything is back to normal and planned one because of Di they had to cancel because she did not wish Arnav ji to go away from her. Khushi smiled through it too. But even after that, Di never gave them space. Whenever Arnav ji and Khushi plan to spend time together Di would always wish to join not even thinking about them, be it seeing a movie, a dinner date. Why because she felt no one cares for her? Because everyone was trying to live their life leaving behind her. Every time seeing her getting sad, they would turn it into family outing. And you being elder Dadi never made her understand. Instead you and Maa ji always go to Arnav ji saying bitwa Anjali betiya is so dull take her with you too. Even then Khushi would just laugh it off saying of course Nani ji, Di too will come with us. No one saw her pain behind that smile."

Payal did not hold back anything she was blunt and clear "Maa ji do you remember the farmhouse plan? When Di suffered miscarriage. It was Khushi who made it to cheer up Di. That time at the last minute, Khushi fell ill and did not want us to cancel the trip and requested us to go. She did not even let me stay with her. Arnav ji too was at Agra for a meeting at that time. No one was with her. Before her eyes Di called Arnav demanding him to reach farmhouse straight. Khushi just smiled assuring she will be fine and it is just for a day and we will be here next day. Di did not even think Khushi would like her husband to be with her at that time." She looked at the two women who were not able to say anything in the face of the truth, she continued "Khushi's health had worsened so much that she had fainted. Arnav ji could not reach her. And when he called Di to ask about Khushi what did she do? Instead of letting him know about Khushi she begged him to reach farmhouse. She did not even for once felt Khushi will need him. Did not even utter a word that she is not with us and is sick. I don't know what made him call me. and I thank God he called me otherwise I could not imagine what would have happened to Khushi. What did Di do? Cried and started complaining about Arnav ji who had choose to take care of his sick wife rather than join us in farmhouse. She had everyone with her, her husband, her whole family but she could not take it that Arnav ji refused to come. I really felt at that time Di does not even care if Khushi lives or dies. She just wants Arnav ji to be available at her every beck and call. She has become too clingy that she started suffocating their relationship. Even after getting married to Rahul ji, she always whines for her brother not letting them live their life. If Khushi has reached her limit now than I do not fault her at all."

Payal "As much as she is at fault then everyone of this family too is at fault. Instead of make her see her error you just start cuddling her at the drop of her tears. Never anyone tried to correct her mistake but instead added only flame to it always protecting her. I am ashamed of myself that all these years I was quiet seeing my sister suffer but never once stood for her. Instead tried to please my in laws. But this time I am not going to stand silent. This time it is question about my sister's married life, because of some outsider it is in real mess and all because the daughter of this house cannot see anything beyond her own happiness."

"I don't care what you think Dadi Maa ji, but this is the truth you people are so selfish. For you only Anjali Di matters not anyone else. And I also hope Arnav ji and Khushi does not come back here, at least they will live their life away from here." Saying this she left from there leaving Devyani Raizada and Manorama Raizada in conflict of emotions.

That night during dinner time everyone were present except Anjali. Akash noticing asked in general "Where is Di?" no one said anything.

He looked at his wife for answer but got only silence as an answer. Sheethal taking the chance for insulting her blamed Payal "It is all because of your wife Akash. She talked badly to Anjali in the evening. She is upset that is why refused to join for dinner."

Nani irritated said sternly "Ms. Kapoor, this is our family matter so I would like it if you don't interfere in it. *turning to Akash* Bitwa have your dinner. I and Manorama will see to Anjali betiya later."

Akash "But....."

Maami "Bitwa, Sasuma is saying right we will look after Anjali betiya later. You have your dinner."

Nani "And all of you no need to worry. We will handle it."

Akash glanced at his wife once again but she stubbornly kept looking at her plate. Sighing he started having his dinner.

Later Akash, Maama ji, NK gathered in Nani's room wanting to know the tiff between Payal and Anjali. Maami narrated everything that happened, at the end NK "Payal bhabi is right. Whatever she said is the truth. We cannot refuse it. Nanav is always busy between Di, family, and the work that he and Khushi never had time to live their life. And Khushi ji, she too always was busy keeping everyone happy that their married life took back step. It is wonder she did not leave Nanav before this."

Akash "We were always busy pampering Di that we overlooked how bhai and Khushi ji is suffering. They never complained but instead were always there for us."

Maama "Poor girl suffered so much in silence. We were at fault Amma. Think how would have that child felt when everyone keeps comparing her husband with someone else child."

NK "and we did overlook Khushi ji and Payal bhabi for someone else."

Akash "now if Khushi ji is angry than we cannot blame her. She had accepted everything but not Aarav and Sheethal."

Gupta house, Garima, Shashi, and Bua ji entered the house by nearly midnight.

Bua ji "Seems like sankadevi and babua has slept."

Garima "I hope everything is fine now jiji."

Shashi "It will be Garima ji."

Bua ji "Chalo let us too retire for the night." Shashi nodding walked to his room after wishing Bua ji good night. Garima stayed back and looked at her sister in law with hope "Jiji, I think we should talk to Payalia."

Bua ji thinking on her words "You are right. We should know what is happening with our daughter's life."

Garima smiling "I will call Payalia tomorrow morning to come visit us in Devimaya temple. It will be better if he is not with us."

Bua ji patting her arm "don't worry Garima we are there for our children. We will not let anything bad happening to them."

Next day morning, in Devimaya's temple. Garima and Bua ji sat stunned listening to Payal. They could not believe what they are hearing. Garima "Payalia, you too could not see Khushi's pain."

Bua ji "we did not expect this from you."

Garima really disappointed "I did not know my betiya is going through so much." She continued "would you have able to bear it if you were in Khushi's place. Not even her own sister understood her. No wonder she is so hurt and came to live with us."

Bua ji getting angry "and that Anjali how could she knowingly bring that boy to our house. If I had known this earlier, I would have turned them out before titaliya came back from the party."

Payal "I did not know Bua ji. If I had known Di would do something like this I would have stopped. I know I behaved insensitively towards my sister but now after knowing how much hurt she is getting I will not keep quiet. Yesterday I made sure Di, Maa ji, and Dadi understood very well."

Bua ji "and why is that woman still in your house?"

Payal "I had already talked to Akash. He will do something about it. Seeing that woman now I feel very irritated and murderous."

Bua ji "at least Babua is with Khushi."

Payal "I'm sorry Amma, Bua ji. I did not take good care of Khushi."

Garima shaking her head stood up "Your sorry is not going to erase all her pain. Khushi being younger sister had always taken care of you, stood for you. But you...."

Bua ji sighing "Payalia, being her elder sister, she would have expected at least you to understand her but you too were among them hurting her." Bua ji too standing up "We will leave now. Shashi babua will wonder what is taking us so long."

Payal looked down, she is so ashamed at her behavior not able to look in their eyes. Whatever they said is right. Khushi had always been there for her but when it was her turn, she had always been a disappointment.

Garima and Bua ji entered the house and looked around for Khushi. Not seeing both Khushi and Arnav, Garima "Shashi ji where is Khushi and Arnav?"

Shashi "Both have gone to vegetable market."

Bua ji nodded at Garima, both the women walked towards him. Shashi looked up from the TV raising his eyebrows "What is it Garima ji? Why are you standing before the TV?"

Garima taking the remote from him switched of the TV. Sitting beside him on the sofa she said "We have something important to tell you?"

Shashi looked at his wife and sister in confusion. Bua ji nodding her head sat on the single sofa "Very important. It is about our children."

Shashi "Kya hua? You both are worrying me now?"

Garima and Bua ji took turn in saying all the information they got from Payal. At the end of it they looked at him expectantly. Shashi sighed "never thought they will be so insensitive."

Bua ji nodding "that is why? I and Garima thought of something."

Shashi "and what is it?"

Garima "Shashi ji you were saying na, before our new tenant comes there are few repairs and whole house is to be painted."

Shashi "yes, I was planning to go in few days."

Garima "We were thinking why not we send Khushi and Arnav bitwa to Lucknow."

Shashi surprised "What?"

Bua ji "Haan, we think this is best. Till that woman and that boy is in that house it is better if they go to Lucknow. This way Khushi will see to our house and also they will be away and get to spend some time together."

Shashi "But jiji....talking to Khushi is okay. But Arnav bitwa? How can we ask our son in law?"

Garima "We know but this must be done. You talk with him."

Shashi sighed looking at his determined wife and sister "Alright, but what if that woman and boy are still there in the house when they return from Lucknow."

Bua ji "We will see about it later. For now, let us send them to Lucknow. Atleast the tiff they are having they will able to solve without any interference. Else his sister will make it difficult for them here."

Garima "yes, Payalia said everyone are feeling guilty towards Khushi but if they see Anjali crying and being sad, they will melt. That is really not good for our betiya. They need this space away from everyone to mend their relationship."

Bua ji fuming "That Anjali, what and all our betiya did not do for her but she always bring only sorrow to our titaliya." Remembering Payal's word.

Shashi nodding "let us talk to them tonight then."

Akash looked at the caller id, seeing his brother in law's in display he excused himself from the meeting telling Aman to continue with it and walked outside the conference room.

Akash "Hello jiju. How are you? How is your work going? When are you coming back?"

Rahul "I am fine. Work is almost finished here. I'll be coming back by tomorrow."

Akash "It is good news jiju."

Rahul "Akash, I called you because of Anjali"

Akash sighed knowing what is coming. Rahul "What happened Akash? I was calling her from morning she did not pick up my call and when she did attend all she did was crying."

Akash "Jiju, I'm sorry."

Rahul "Why are you sorry Akash?"

Akash "Last evening Payal was angry with Di and said something about baby."

Rahul closed his eyes in pain "Tell me clearly Akash. Payal is not someone to hurt deliberately."

Akash narrated everything his mother said to Rahul. Rahul was silent for few seconds Akash feeling bad "jiju?"

Rahul "It is alright Akash. I'm not angry with Payal. What ever she said is truth. Just because I love my wife does not mean I will support her wrongdoings too. I know her flaws, Akash. You don't worry I'll call her and try consoling her."

Akash "Thank you jiju"

I know there is no Arnav Khushi in this update. There are few things I need to sort out so don't want to write anything in hurry. And this itself wrote in hurry don't know how it came.
