Regular POV:

I bounded over to the nursery. I had yet to see Dovewing's two new kits: Cougarkit and Leopardkit. I knew she would get restless in there in no time. The pale-gray warrior was so tired from kitting, she had passed out right after. I stifled a purr, remembering how tired Leafpool had been when she had kits. I softly licked Leopardkit's ears. The small she-kit wrinkled her nose and sneezed. I realized my tail was hovering right over her face. I pulled it back and Leopardkit opened her eyes. "Hello," she mewed. "Are you my mother?" I purred. 

"No, little one," I mewed softly, not wanting to wake Dovewing. "I am Squirrelstar, new leader of ThunderClan."

"Wow! That is so cool! I wanna be leader one day, and he-" she nudged Cougarkit with her muzzle-"can be deputy! Then I can go to he Moonrock and-"

"Wait, how do you know all this?" I was amazed at this little bundle of fur...she knew so much!

"Oh, I guess I heard Dovewing and Leafpool talking," Leopardkit squeaked. 

"Do you know what medicine cats do?" I wanted to hear everything the kit knew.

"Well, I know that they heal cats...they use cobwebs to stop bleeding, mouse bile to get rid of ticks, marigold to stop infections,  yarrow to make them make them vomit, catmint to stop congestion and coughs, comfrey to help swelling, dock to help small cuts, etc. etc." I stared. This was given talents by StarClan!

"Um, I've got to go check on...um...the apprentices, so bye!" I ran out of the nursery, leaving a very confused Leopardkit behind.

"Jayfeather! Leafpool! You have to come see this!" I yowled. They came running over. "While Leopardkit was sleeping, she heard everything you, Leafpool were talking about!"

Leafpool rocketed toward the nursery. She called over her shoulder, "Jayfeather, check on Squirrelstar's kits!"

"Right..." Jayfeather padded up to me.

"Um...my kits?"

"Yes...you, Squirrelstar, are going to have Brambleclaw's kits. Haven't you noticed that you are getting fatter?"

StarClan, I'm finally having kits!
