Watson knew that Sherlock wasn't okay the moment he saw him land on the dusty ground, but he was even more worried now because Sherlock wouldn't respond to him and he wasn't moving. He saw Steve and Fred jump into battle against the bear, so he pulled his attention away from Sherlock to go help his other friends.

As a team they kicked, punched and struck out at the bear until they managed to overpower it. As soon as they had easily defeated their enemy, Watson ran over to Sherlock and Fred called the FBI, the AAHA and the ambulances to tell them where they were.

Watson was relieved when he felt Sherlock's strong and steady pulse and so he kept an eye on Sherlock while he sat back and waited for their help to come.
