Squiff and the Dangerous Dessert is the prequel to Squiff and the Birthday Surprise  (available here on Wattpad and also on the Storyberries website) and was my first attempt at creating a picture book for my kids.

And it shows.

The illustrations are very basic, in keeping with my artistic skills, but fortunately kids (particularly your own) are a fairly forgiving audience, and space blobs are fairly forgiving subjects.

My youngest daughter described the book as being more 'shenanigans' than story, and I can't really disagree  But the shenanigans are space and food-related, which I'd argue are among the best kind.
