I stayed there for a second more before I let go and run out of the room. I felt... scared. Don't know why but it brought tears to my eyes.

When I got to my room I collapsed on the floor and I started sobbing. Why do I feel such devastation and guilt all of a sudden, especially for a person who ruined my life the way he did?

"'Mily. Don't leave me. Stay. I didn't mean what I said. I love you too."

Why did he have to go and say that? Why do I feel like my heart is breaking for the second time? I knew what he was talking about but I wanted to deny it, badly.

The tears finally stopped coming and I fell asleep.

The next morning I was woke up by a request of one Nicholas Abernathy.

I changed to a comfortable leggings with a sweatshirt before leaving. I was rubbing my eyes and yawning as I got into the room. As soon as I got into the room the security guards left surprising me. Nick wasn't in his usual place on his bed instead he was walking back and forth in his tiny room.

"What's wrong? Why did you call me this early and why did the guards leave? What is..."

"One question at a time. For your first question I think something is changing. This morning two men came here and asked me to be part of the program if I promise to devote my life for this country."

"Don't tell me you took the deal."

"Of course I took the deal. It was a great one, but I am scared it means a lot is going to change. And the guards left because I am no more a prisoner. I am free."

"They can't do that, can they? How desperate are they to free a convicted prisoner so they could gain more force."

"That one of the reasons to why I called you in this early. I think there is something that they are hiding, but I feel like we are going to know soon." I was shocked. I mean when will the secrets end.

"The second reason was I had to know if you came here last night." What do I say to that, do I lie? but before I could make my mind he did for me.

"I know that someone slept here yesterday. The locks were open, there were marks on the sit, the air was a little warmer, and last but not least I was comforted and I know there is no one here that would care for me except you. Not even my own brother will look me in the eyes." He was looking me in the eyes and I was slightly trembling.

I gather myself to at least fake confidence. "First I don't care for you. Second you knew I would come when you dangle information at me."

"It seemed like the only thing you wanted out of me. I hear that you are now remembering a lot from your past so why don't you remember us. I mean..."

"What if I don't want to remember? I remember you left me so soon making what we have was never..." he captured my face in his hands.

"Don't say that. Don't say it."

"I have to its the truth isn't it. Your job was to make me fall for you so you could be used against me. Chad was the one who saved me or I don't know where I would have ended up. Most likely possibility dead."

"I would never let that happen." I wanted to scoff so badly but the position I am now in didn't let me. Instead I nodded and backed away.

"Fine. I will tell my friends and will tell you when I have information."

"I will come with you."

"I forgot you were free now. Come I will show you around and probably need to keep an eye on you so no one attacks you."

"I can handle my own." Of course he can he kicked both Josef's and Dukes ass in the arena.

"Whatever. What were you going to tell me last night?"

"Christopher's history with your parents I thought maybe it might help and also new recruits. I heard the guards talk about it yesterday. Now I am sure."

"Wait wait wait. New recruits? Does that mean new people? The year is not over yet."

"The newbies are supposed to be super young and fresh. They are picking from the ones who already applied and also the ones who have zero clue about this place."

"How can that even be legal?"

"You are asking the wrong question."

I thought about it a while and came to realise. "Nick what does it mean? Oh my is it..."

"War is coming."

The squad was silent as they listen to me repeat what Nick told me.

Duke and Josef had a hard look on their faces. Greg was trying to comfort Chloe who is crying because of the possibility of her little sister joining.

Kate, Kia and Edumun have a blank face while whispering to each other.

Chad and Rachel were at a corner just listening silently and patiently like they knew this was coming.

Rwanda and Colby are gathered at Richard's bed having adult talk and last but not least there was Nick walking around whistling to an old tune.

"How do we believe him anyway? He is nothing but a lying..." Duke was cut off.

"I will keep my mouth shut of I were you that is if you don't want to have that ugly face of..."

"Shut up!" Rachel huffed she looks like she had aged a decade. Her normal aloof spirit gone she now was rocking a serious face.

"Will you cut it out? I don't want to admit it but Nick is right. War is coming and it's not just any war."

"No it's not." Richard continues. "This is not a war between nations. It is a war greater than that. This was long coming there is no way preventing it. If only there was a way..." Rwanda gave his shoulder a squeeze to bring him out of his haze.

"This will be the war between the greatest evils in the world and the rest of what's left. If in this time we don't stand united there is not even a slightest chance we could win, but what is the board thinking. Sending children, innocent minds into war. We can't have that."

"It makes sense though." Colby said catching our attention. "The children will have a better chance of defending their self trained rather than out in the real world when the catastrophe hits." Some nodded others stayed blank.

"That's not the only thing. They must have known that I would say no to this. If this true then it means I am done here they won't let me stay after what happened happened on my watch."

"Don't say that dad." Duke sighed in defeat.

"Well I will be glad; it will be an early retirement for me." He smiled a little but even that little effort seemed forced.

"So what do we do about this? How do we handle it?"

"We don't do anything now. We wait and see, and if everything works out well we play along, but if it goes the other way we then make a plan." Rwanda said closing the meeting.

It was when everybody was starting to go out that Nick decided to open his mouth.

"Well that was a nice heart warming and pathetic meet and greet I have ever seen." Everyone literally was ready to pounce on him, but it was Chloe who got the punch. She hit square on the jaw  and he was down.

"Next time refine from gracing with your presence." She said and left with Greg to the infirmary. Everyone followed their lead and left. I stood there watching him lay on the floor.

"Aren't you going to help me up?" He asked after some time.

"Nah I am enjoying you getting your ass kicked by a girl."

"Your friends are all hot headed."

"You had that coming from the start. Stop acting like you're the victim. Get that kicked by a girl ass up so I can show you around some more."

Here is to the first update of Spy University: Chaos Unleashed.

Since this is a double update make sure you read the first chapter.

I am thinking maybe taking some focus away from Emily's dramatic love life and giving you guys some focus on other dramas and the action. Otherwise, like always I hope you enjoy it.
