(Erica p.o.v.)

I woke up. We were in a car.

"Erica we are going back to the hotel. Your room number is 133. You need some rest" Vivian said because she was the first to realize that I woke up. I just nodded my head. Today has been a very busy day and sadly the only person who could help me get through a very busy day like today would be Ben. 

I just couldn't stop thinking of him.

We finally got to the hotel and Vivian said" Oh my phone is ringing. Sorry I have to go to my room." Then she ran.

This just doesn't seem like Vivian. After everyone went to there shared room besides my mom we started walking up the stairs.

"Erica. I can tell you are worried about Vivian and Ben. I assure you that you just need to rest and calm down. Everyone will be ok" Mom said.

She went into her and Vivian's room. After she shut the door I was listening to both Mom and Vivian talk.

"What did he say" I heard my mom say.

"Well he said that he just doesn't want to make a fuss about this right now because he doesn't want Erica to be worrying about more things and because if Ben gets better he doesn't want the first thing to happen is we won't stop fighting. Ben doesn't even know about Charlotte. He has no idea. Sam told me that I should just pretend everything is alright around everyone else fore right now" Vivian was saying more but I didn't pay attention then because I knew that things were going to get more personal. 

What the heck is happening between Vivian and Sam.

I went to my room and fell asleep thinking many things.

-------time skip------

"Erica. Erica. Erica wake up we have to go down to the hospital" I heard Sue and Olivia say.

As soon as I heard that I zipped out of bed and of course me being me I was already ready to leave. So I ran down the hall grab a salad from my mom and then the rest of them came to the parking lot and we split into 2 groups so then we could have space and so then there can be a group grabbing supplies for things.

Mom, Vivian, Mike, Zoe, Olivia, Sue and I went to the hospital while the others went to get supplies for various things.

We got to the hospital and I ran in just to see Amy and Mrs. Grant sitting drinking coffee staring at the entrance. 

"We were waiting for you. We called Vivian to tell a few of you to come here." Amy said.

I was suspioucs. 

"First. We are surprised we didn't notice this before. You are Erica Hale and the patient is Benjamin Ripley!! Oh my gosh we are so happy to meet you two." Mrs. Grant said.

I felt like chopping her neck off.

"Why did you want us here" I said avoiding the topic.

"Well we were thinking you guys could wait while we are doing the brain surgery. We thought it might take some time out of your day but when we are done you guys could know right away." Amy said.

"Ok thanks." I said.

They left to do the surgery.

The rest of us that were there sat in the waiting room bored to death. We watched the news. We read our phones. We read newspapers that were there. We sometimes took time outside but still left someone inside.

I then hacked Bens phone. Actually his passcode was super simple. I love Erica. That dumb dumb did that for his code. Wow just dumb. That also use to be his computer passcode. Wow this guy has to change all of his passcodes.

I saw 1 of the texts he sent to Mike from when Mike first joined spy school so that would of been a month ago which said " She is great Mike. Don't think of her just because her beauty. Under all her ice and those things she is a very sweet person."

I stopped looking there. I shut his phone off. 

I couldn't stop thinking about all those times Ben has stood up for me or told people I am more then what they think.

I cried a tiny bit thinking what have I done. The others just sat there not wanting to ask me a question.

We just sat there for like another hour.

Finally Amy came out. She had a plain face on. Both happy and sad.

I got up and was about to choke her to tell me why she had that face but Olivia could tell it so she held me back. 

Mom and Vivian went up to Amy and asked" So"

"So... I need to talk to you two alone" Amy said.

That must not be good.

"NO... Ben... is...he...O...K" I asked crying a little more.

Amy just stood there and nodded her head yes and no.

Mom and Vivian followed Amy to her office. Sadly I couldn't listen in because all Olivia, Sue, Mike and Zoe were all blocking me with all of their strength. 

After all of this happened I have been feeling weak because I was the reason this happened to Ben. I didn't even think how to save him. I gave up. I was the one who was slow.

I then looked at my wrist and saw how many times I had cut myself.

Vivian, Mom and Amy all came out and I heard Vivian say " Ok thanks for telling us. Can we now take him home if you said he could go home"

"Yes you can take him home but remember what I told you and if you need you can bring him here whenever." Amy replied

"Thank you" Mom said.

Mrs. Grant then came out holding Ben. He was cleaned up but he didn't move.

"He is still on drugs for him sleeping. He will wake up in 2 hours." Mrs. Grant said.

She walked over to me and said" I think you really need him do you. He will be alright" She then handed Ben to me.

I just nodded my head.

I was happy that Ben was in my hands again. 

"Thank you" The rest of them said. 

We went to the car.

Mom texted some people and I hear the many dings through the car. They all nodded.

I never got the text  and the rest of them did. What is going on.

Everyone else then blocked the ways to get out of the car and Olivia put the locks on.

"Ok...Erica do not go try to harm the doctors. They did there job. They kept Ben alive. You know that big bruise on his head" Vivian asked. I nodded my head.

"Well... in the brain surgery they were able to stop all the blood and fix the things they had to. But in the process of that some of the things they had to do to fix him made it so then he lost some of his memory. So if he doesn't remember you then you need to act like you did when he came to the academy. Then the more we recopy things that happened in the past that he doesn't remember the more he will gain his memory again. Then once he has all of it then we can go back to the way other things were. This will complicate the mission but we have not heard or seen anything from Spyder yet so we are holding that off right now. You got me. This goes for all of you. The more you act like you did in the past if he doesn't remember you then he will gain his memory faster. If he falls tell the adults. Only if he falls out of no where, if he has a headache, or other things. You get this. This applies to all of you even us the adults. Ok" Mom said.

"The doctors never did there job. They didn't fix him" I said about to try to get out of the car.

"Well they did and look out the window. We are at the hotel." Olivia said.

Wow them talking to me made it so then I didn't notice that they started  the car. Wow the Ripley's are all good. They can sneak something past Hales. That is something only Hales can do.

We got out. We sat in mom's room waiting for him to wake up.

I kept thinking the problems to if he doesn't remember certain things. What do I do. I need him.

We all kept watching closely.

His leg started to move. Everyone was hiding just in case if we needed to contain Ben. I was the only 1 out in the open. I wasn't scared. I was happy he was at least with me in the same room besides in the hospital.

He opened his eyes.

I ran into his arms and screamed "BEN!!!! You are alive."

I could tell Mom and Vivian and Sue and Olivia were smacking there heads given that I didn't follow there instructions.

"Wha... Who are you. How Do YOU KNOW ME. SOMEONE HELP. SOMEONE HELP. THERE IS A STRANGER. I WANT MY MOM VIVIAN RIPLEY." He started screaming. Vivian came and hugged him and told him he was alright.

"Ben sweetie you are alright. You are in no harm." She said.

"Where is Catherine" Ben asked. Mom came out. I was disappointed that he didn't remember me but he remembered my mother.

"Hi, Ben. Do you need anything" She asked.

"Wait. Catherine stand next to that girl. She looks familiar." Ben said. Well at least he remembered somewhat of me.

(Ben p.o.v.) Finally

I woke up. I saw this girl with Raven Black hair. Icey blue eyes. Perfect curves. She was stunningly beautiful.

She ran into my arms and screamed my name. 

I was thinking oh my gosh how did this random stranger know my name. I then started screaming for help and my mom.

The girl who hugged me seemed familiar with me. She looked dissopontied that I didn't know her for some reason.

(Erica p.o.v.)

Mom stood right next to me. Ben just nodded his head no like he didn't know me.

Mom then whispered" Attack him like you did when he first came to the academy."

I jumped onto the bed that he was on and jumped onto him and pinned him down. He already saw my identity but I was able to make things work. I said the paragraph that I said when we first met.

He seemed confused.

He then stared remembering some things. So I was able to skip to when I started to be cold to him.

I started becoming distanced from him as in everyone watching me and I was hiding in a shadow of the room across the room. But, he never noticed.

We were all in the same position for a while.

I gave up. I couldn't stand doing what I did to him when we first met. I couldn't push myself to be cold to him again. I texted the others that were in the room that so then Ben didn't notice. 

The answers I got was " Don't do that Erica"

But, I didn't listen.

I sat next to Ben on the bed. I gave him my hand and said" Hi. I am Erica Hale"

He took it afraid, I could tell.

"H...I... I am Benjamin Ripley" He said shaking my hand.

The other gave up and knew that from here on out they just need to let things flow. I already messed things up.

In my defense I couldn't push myself to do the things I did to Ben that I did in the past.

I took his arm and got him off the bed. He stood up and looked at me and said" Thanks"

(Ben p.o.v.)

The girl did some weird things. 

Later she sat next to me on the bed. I still had no idea who she was. I was scared but my mom knew her and so did Catherine and I trust them so I didn't scream for help.

She took her hand out for me to shake. She told me her name was Erica Hale.

The name rung a bell. But I still couldn't tell what.

She helped me get off the bed.

We started walking towards the door until mom stopped us.

"Ben, sweetie can I talk to the girl which is Erica for a second." Mom asked me.

I just nodded.

(Erica p.o.v.)

Vivian took my arm and pulled me aside.

"Erica Hale what do you think your doing." She asked me

"I can't push myself to be mean and cold to him again. It hurt me just watching that once, I don't want to have to watch that happening again." I replied

"You could of at least told an adult. Ben is not aloud anywhere without an adult around. We can be hiding while still watching but Ben has to have an adult watching him unless he is asleep. You understand. Where are you going" Vivian asked.

I was thinking why does he have to have an adult.

"He has to have an adult because we don't want something bad to happen and it not being able to be fixed fast enough." She said.

"Fine. We are going to the coffee shop. You and my mom can  meet us there deal. Also I am Erica I can handle myself and him just fine." I stated to Vivian.

"Well I am Vivian and I am his mother so I have the right to watch him..." She was saying and then my mom came. "and I have the right to watch you" Mom said

"Fine" I said.

Mike then said" Ohhh... you just got burned"

I turned around and smacked him in the face.

"Wait...sorry that wasn't hard enough" I said.

Mike ran and said" I get the point. Please don't hurt me" 

I was pleased with myself.

I went back to Ben and took his hand. "Come one" I said.

We started walking. Then Ben released my hand.

His face was shocked. He stood there with a face that I have seen multiple times. He sees another girl.

He ran and greeted her.

"Hi. I am Benjamin Ripley. Who are you." He asked the girl.

She had wavy blonde hair. She had red lipstick but like not the blood red type. She had pink eyes and she was about his height and looked a year younger then him.

"Hi. I am Wendy. Wendy Grent." Wendy said.

I walked forward and said" Uh... Ben come on we have to go to the coffee shop"

"Oh...sorry Ben is that your girlfriend" Wendy asked,

"Nope" Ben replied before I could say anything.

"Do you want to come with us to the coffee shop. I can pay" He asked her.

Wendy then gave a face of happy and then she said" I would gladdly do that."

It's like they both forgot that I was still standing there. They started walking there. 

I let them go ahead and talk then I started walking a while behind them listening to what they were saying.

"You know if the girl back there was your girlfriend I would go back to her. She seems to care for you like a lot." I heard Wendy say.

"She's not my girlfriend. She is just my mom's friends daughter. She was told to watch me for some reason." Ben said.

They both stopped. So did I.

Wendy set her hand on Ben's chest.

"You know you are a lucky guy" she said. " You have someone that cares for you. Go back to her."

"But, so do you." Ben replied. " Just 1 sight at you and I already started caring for you" They kept on talking.

I saw mom starting to come out of the shop.

She walked towards them.

"Hi, I am Catherine. Nice to meet you. Ben your mother told me to tell you to go inside without her" Mom said pointing towards Wendy. Mom could just tell I was jealous and hurt.

"Fine. Bye Wendy. Hope to see you agian" Ben said. He went into the shop and sat next to his mom.

My mom came and said" Missy, it doesn't seem you did a great job at getting him here. Did you" I just nodded my head no.

I can't believe I let that happen.

"Well, we know a way to have him get his memory back" She said. " The doctor just called and  told us if there is a big event that is happening soon and if it is for someone who he truely cares about and it happens it should trigger why he is there and all the other memorys he lost. Also she told us for who every he forgot that shows that person he really loves. Are you in"

"What big event" I asked trying not to think about how much Ben actually loves me.

"Seriously, you are Erica Hale and you forgot your own birthday" Mom laughed.

"Wait...it has been that long." I asked

Mom nodded her head.

"What about the mission. What if this doesn't work. What if Spyder wins" I asked rushing my sentences.

"Relax, Spyder hasn't shown any action yet and the others found a lead that Spyder had to change their evil day later because there was an arm's dealer who didn't deliver something important to them. The mission has been on a hold right now. The CIA told us to relax and enjoy ourselves but we still have to keep our guards up. Later onuce Spyder shows action we will jump right in. We will make sure Spyder Dies." She said.

I just nodded my head. " I feel really bad for him" I whispered.

Mom set a hand on my shoulder and said" He will get better. Trust me tomorrow on your birthday he will remember you and everything" Vivian and Ben came out with coffee in both of their hands and Ben had a salad.

"Here you go Catherine" Vivian said while drinking her own coffee and handing mom's coffee to her.

"Thanks Vivian" She said as she was taking it.

I looked to Ben.

"I can't exactly remember her name and those details about her and I don't know why but you remind me of someone I really care and love for. So I thought what would she order in her coffee and what in general what she would order. So I got you your coffee and a salad" He said handing them to me.

I couldn't help it but hug him.

He is already starting to act like the Ben I know.
