Here we go for some ride.

I don't know what to do. 

Should I tell them or what. 

No if you tell them that will blow your cover.

When will I tell them. 

In three months.

(Erica p.o.v.)

"Benny how are you doing. You have seem to be distracted right now" I asked.

"By your  Beauty" he responded.

There is definitely something wrong with him. He is never that cheesy out of no where.

"Ben you are not ok. You are never that cheesy unless we are having romance or if we are on a date. Tell me what is wrong. I care for you and I don't know what to do if you won't tell me what is wrong" I said

"No Erica" he said.

He won't tell me what is wrong Well then I will have to squeeze it out of him.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him onto my bed and hugged him and then cuddled myself into him.

"Ben please tell me. I am worried. You don't act like this" I said in a nice calming tone.

Ben didn't respond all he did was fall onto my shoulder.

Weird. I looked over him and there was an arrow in his back. It had black poison.

I can't even handle that.

Then there were 50 agents with them.

"Erica Hale come with us now." One said.

"First where did you get the technology" I asked.

"A close friend of yours. We stole it" another one said.

"What who did you steal it from" I asked.

"As we said a close friend of yours." They said.

"Stop. Tell me" I said.

"What we will tell you is keep away very fragile or high tech technology. Or people will steal the tech from a close friend of yours" some of the agents said.

They then started disappearing while laughing a very evil laugh.

Oh no what is happening.

The agents then appeared agian.

"We are warning you" They then all disappeared.

"Erica, Erica, ERICA WAKE UP NOW" I heard someone scream.

I can't risk letting my guard down.

It was Ben. Oh he was alive.

I pulled him into a tight hug and whispered"your all right"

He hugged back and said" yes I am alright. Are you ok baby"

I just nodded my head. 

"Ok it looked like you were having a bad dream. You looked freaked out. Can you tell me what the nightmare was about." Ben asked

I told him all of it how he was acting strange and then how he got shot. I told him everything except for the A close friend of yours. I made a lie about that.

"Oh baby I am so sorry. Come on. Do you want me to do something for you" Ben asked

"Can I have a piggyback ride" I asked Ben.

"Where to" he asked.

"Our prisoners" I said. Ben then bent down and I got on his back.

He went running down to where we are holding Murray and Ashley.

"Ok we are here. Sweetie get off my back" I just smiled and got off his back and kissed him.

"Ok I will go in first and then just talk to them and then you can go and give them fake information." I said to Ben.

He just smiled.

I started walking. My mind was crowded. I kept thinking  A close friend of yours. I couldn't stop. It was like if I don't figure this clue out I might die or worse Ben or even worse Bens relatives dying and then breaking Bens spirit.

I can't let this happen.

Oh little did I know that I should of told Ben the truth about my dream. Little did I know it would harm someone or something.

I kept thinking. Then my brain just blacked out and said

Erica don't drop your guard. Don't drop your guard.

My mind just couldn't stop replying the words.

A close friend of yours. A close friend of yours. A close friend of yours. A close friend of yours. A close friend of yours.

I was halfway to the door. Then I just collapsed.

A close friend of yours was over riding my mind.

This is a big warning. But who and what and when is it warning me to be careful.

I passed out.

My brain hurt from the so many A close friend of yours.

(Ben p.o.v.)

I was watching Erica walk towards Ashley and Murray.

Weird she seemed zoned out and she wasn't walking with her normal confident personality.

She looked like she was scared and something was making her head hurt. She looked worried. She looked like there was something she was trying to figure out. She looked like her mind was overwhelmed with something.

What though.

That is the big question. 

Once I saw her wobbling while walking. I started running towards her. I was to slow. When I got to her she was on the ground.

Why though.

I sat next to her and pulled her onto my lap. I stroked her hair and kissed her forehead.

"Erica honey are you alright." I asked her.

There was no response.

I then quickly got a got two glasses of water.

I poured one on Erica.

"Aww Ben what in the.... oh now I remember. Thank you" Erica said. She sounded frightened and scared and sad.

(Erica p.o.v.)

When I woke up from Ben pouring water on me I was about to grill Ben for pouring water onto me then I remember everything.

Ben could tell I was frightened and scared and sad.

I was frightened that if I made any wrong move it would jeopardize anything and anyone. I was scarred I was going to drop my guard and then have one of Bens family members die or him. I was sad about thinking about losing any Ripley. His family is amazing.

"Erica" Ben said and he pulled me in to a hug. He then kissed me long and passionate.

"You are ok. Thank god." He said.

I could tell he was scared to death about me especially because I was zoned out for a while and I was walking weirdly and I was dropping my guard and more things.

I get it I was also scared and I am Erica Hale.

"Erica we are going back to your room" Ben said. 

I didn't even try to fight him. I was to weak mentally which was somehow making me a little weak physically.

He carried me back to my dorm. We went inside.

Ben then pulled both of us onto my bed.

"Erica you know you can tell me anything you want. I am a close friend of yours. You can trust me" Ben said calmly

Ahhh... Ben is the close friend. His guns he made are a very high technology and the door he and Spyder used to trap us in our last mission.

One puzzle piece clicked. 

"Erica answer me are you ok" Ben asked me.

I just sat there. My brain was running into all the bad things that could happen to me or Ben or our families or what someone could do if they had Bens high tech technology. They wouldn't stop.

I then just broke down.

"I...am...so...so...so...sorr...rrryyy. Been" I cried out. I dug my head in his chest.

"Why are you sorry" Ben asked while rubbing my back.

"Because I might cause something bad to happened on our next mission" I cried.

I didn't want anything bad to happen to anyone. But people don't always get there wishes.

"Erica all I care for is you and my family and yours. I put you guys before me. You are always my top priority, I won't let anything bad happen to you guys. Also our next mission isn't until 3 months from now. You just need a break Erica. Get some rest and then we can go talk to our prisoners" Ben said

"No...but...t...tt...this...is...bad" I sobbed.

"Erica we have survived many things. We have each other. We will be fine." Ben said

I then looked up at Ben. He just wiped the tears off my face and then put a smile on his face.

"Your ok and that is what I care about. If there is  something bothering you tell me" he said

I didn't tell him. Oh I had no idea that was such a big impact.

"I just nodded my head instead.

I sat there my arms around him and fell asleep.

Dream(Beginning)

We were walking down a hall. Spyder had 100 guns on us.

Ben was freaking out but only I could tell.

Then one of the Spyder Agents said"throw him in there and throw her in there" as they were pointing to two rooms.

She or he sounded familiar. I mean like a good familiar.

"No just don't hurt her. Please. Hurt me all you want but please don't hurt her. Please. I will do what you want but please don't hurt her" Ben begged.

"It is her decision if she gets hurt or not. Same for you. You two can ether work with us or not do anything for us. That will just earn yourself torture. Also if one of you guys escape and the other one doesn't. The other one will get the torture you were supposed to" the head of the group of Spyder agents said.

They threw me in a room across from Ben.

No they are taking me away from him.

"Ok Ms.Hale I am Agent Ripley. Ben is a close friend of yours which is a very good thing. He even is your boyfriend. I ship it and I am happy it happened. Now I am undercover and will get you two out." Agent Ripley said

"Wait...Olivia" I said

"Yes I am. Hi sweetie" she said.

"AHHHHHHHH. OWWWWW" we heard from the room across us.

Then we heard more screams from there. Then we heard"you can kill me but I am not helping you"

That was Ben.

Then somehow we were in the same room as Ben and his person.

Ben was a bloody mess. He passed out.

"So a close friend of yours has been tortured quite well" the agent said.

"Why do people keep on saying a close friend of yours" I asked.

"Because Erica. You need to keep Ben and his technology safe. He is a close friend of yours. He is the one that people have been talking about. There is trouble to come your way if you don't do the right thing." Olivia said.

"No" I said refusing to know that Ben can get hurt if I do the ring move.

"Erica don't worry. Remember he is a close friend of yours. You don't want to lose him. Also I will always be there to help" Olivia said

"A close friend of yours might...

Dream(end)

I woke up. Darn it the sentence wasn't finished and now I have more of a puzzle to solve.

Ben was still asleep.

I ruffled his hair and whispered " Ben let's go see Murray and Ashley" 

He got up and said" ok but how are you doing" 

I said fine.

We went there and we talked about things. This was working because my mind didn't have so many a close friend of yours stuck in it.

I then left to go talk to Murray and Ashley and Ben stayed behind to wait but when I left him there my brain started getting jumbled with a close friend of yours. 

I then backed up closer to Ben and the A close friend of yours started becoming farther away and softer and it was said less in my head.

I moved forward and it became more jumbled and louder in my head.

I figured something out after I did this a few times.

I always need to be around with Ben.

I went back to Ben and hugged him.

"Um...Erica aren't you supposed to be talking to Murray and Ashley" asked Ben.

"Yep but I changed my mind let's go together and then you can hide while I talk to them. Then I can go and hide while you talk to them" I said 

"Whatever makes you feel better" he said.

I smiled and we walked there. This did make me feel a whole lot better.

We got in and Ben hid very well. I wouldn't have been able to find him but he told me where he was hiding.

"Well...well...we'll if it isn't Ms.Jidiot" Ashley said

"To you It is Agent Hale" I said sternly. Ashley shrunk down a little.

"Ok we know Spyder has a plan in three months. Do you know what it is" I asked them.

"Why would we tell you" Ashley said but Murray said"no we have nothing to plan"

Ashley then grilled Murray about we already know they have a plan and since he said no we definitely know they have a plan.

"Tell me" I said.

"What we will tell you is a close friend of yours will be helping" Ashley said.

I knew they were talking about Ben but they didn't know I knew so i acted like and idiot.

"What close friend" I asked 

Murray was opening his mouth to say something but then Ashley smacked him and said"let me do all the talking"

"Ok so you are an idiot. You only have 1 friend and he or she might not even be a true friend" Ashley said

It was Ben I knew it. But he is a true friend. He isn't a true friend towards Spyder. He is there number one enemy of Spyder.

"Is there anything else" I asked

"Not that we are going to tell you anything" Ashley said.

I then left to go to a hiding spot and five minutes later Ben came out of his.

"Hi honey. Hi bro. It is so difficult to be Erica's boyfriend. Also it has been so hard being best friends with Mike and Zoe and Jawa and Chip. When can I be done" Ben said.

I knew he was lying he actually enjoyed me and his other friends. He was just pretending.

Ashley only was able to gain Bens trust, was by him being Ashley's boyfriend.

"It is ok. Also three months. And you forgot you can do this. You were the one chosen and you have the most power. Remember I also recommended you for the big job. I wouldn't have if I didn't think you could do it. You can easily switch things.  And the job you have gives lots and lots of power" Ashley said.

What in the world are they talking about.

"I knew I could count on you." Ben said

"Ok so what information do you have" Murray asked.

"So there is a CIA base that we can blow up. It is in southern Virginia. It is the biggest CIA base but it isn't there head quarters. There are only 597 people in that building. Those people all are the workers for things not like a field agent. They are like engineers and computer people and lab things and they also have the most highly classified files. If we get rid of that building it will take lots of money which will then make the CIA lose money. They have a day break. That will be the day we strike. We will also want to bring a lot of our men to fight. These people are not lousy at fighting at all. I will break you guys out on two days before that" Ben was saying but I lost track of focus for a millisecond. 

The date Ben said was two weeks before my birthday. Ben didn't just make the date he did. There is a reason behind it.

"Also the CIA only weak spot is money" Ben said. Then he said what the date they had to strike was.

There is no base in Southern Virginia. Ben is supposed to tell them old information that wasn't important now. He isn't supposed to lie. I know there was never a Southern Virginia CIA base.

What is he doing.

He finished talking to them and left.

I followed him without Murray or Ashley noticing.

"Ben what did you just do." I asked him.

"I set a trap" he said

"How" I asked

"Well the place I am talking about is an abandoned mall. So we can hide places near there and in there. Spyder thinks they can attack with a bomb and with fighting. They can but they won't know that that was a trap and then I can make a shield that no bombs can affect the building or nothing inside of it. Then the Spyder agents will fight with attacking on hand to hand combat. But they don't know that everyone inside the mall and outside the mall are ready. They think that there will be no one there. Don't tell anyone just yet until I tell you to. You can only tell your grandpa. He can not tell anyone else even any Hales or Ripley's or the CIA director. Understand" Ben said with a bit of sternness to it.

Well then he must be really serious about this.

"Yes I do. What were they talking about you having power" I asked.

"I can't tell you exactly right now. I have to wait for the perfect time" He said.

"Ok. Also why did you decide the date for Spyder to attack was going to be two weeks before my birthday" I asked him.

"Well that is because I didn't want you to have stress about the mission on your birthday. I wanted it to sort of be a happy thing after the mission. So you don't have to skip your birthday. I also have a small but lrge gift for you" Ben said

"Thank you for considering that. I am happy" I said and kissed him on the cheek.

"Your welcome. Let's quickly tell your tell Cyrus" Ben said.

We went to his office and went inside.

"Oh how is Berica doing" he asked

"Great" we both said and kissed.

"Nice so why did you guys come here" Grandpa asked.

Ben told him about the talk with Murray and Ashley and his idea. He left the dream for me to tell him.

"You have gotten really smart. I like your idea. But we are going to need people who aren't corrupted." Grandpa said

"I know how to do that but I can't tell you just yet" Ben said.

Ben then left to go to the bathroom. Luckily for me the closest bathroom that Ben could use would be two stories down or two stories up.

I then told grandpa about my two dreams and the truth and told him about the if I am far away from Ben then my mind would jumble.

Then my mind started to jumble.

Grandpa saw and said"Erica, Ben will be here soon"

But this time a close friend of yours wasn't jumbled in my brain die, die, die, die was jumbled in my brain.

I told grandpa as quickly as i could. Then it slowed down. That meant Ben was coming.

When he came in I was on the ground. He ran towards me.

I then said" I don't know what to do" 

Ben then just started comforting me.

"You will be fine. I will be fine. Everyone will be fine. Don't worry about me." Ben said.

Grandpa then said" do you want me to tell him"

I said"no not now"

Then grandpa said to Ben" don't leave her side. She needs you. Don't get to far away from her. We will tell you later but I am being serious. " 

Ben then said" yes sir. I care about Erica more then anyone or anything. If I am asked to not leave her side. I won't leave her side. But one quick question. We have different classes how am I going to be able to be by her side" Ben asked.

"I will put you in Erica's classes. You are after all the second best spy in this school. Behind Erica. So I am sure that you can handle her classes. Is there anyone you want to move with you temporarily until we can fix our problem." Cyrus asked.

"Mike,Zoe,Chip and Jawa. Is that fine with you Erica" Ben asked.

I said"yeah"

Me and Ben left.

Hand and hand we got to my room.

We got back into my bed.

"We have classes tomorrow. You need a good sleep" Ben said.

I just said ok.

I shut my eyes then my brain shut down.

But then I was woken up by the a close friend of yours. A close friend of yours. A close friend of yours.

I snapped right up. Why is my brain doing this. I already figured out the puzzle to the close friend. It was Ben.

So why does my brain keep on repeating the sentence.

"Erica baby you alright" Ben asked.

I clutched onto Ben." Don't go" I said

"I won't" he said.

I then rolled halfway on top of him and clutched him and scissor locked our legs together afraid something bad was going to happen to him.

He just hugged me and rubbed my back.

"Go to sleep. You need it" Ben said

Hahahah done for a while.

I am going to be evil and not update this book for a while.

I told you guys I wouldn't start the book for a while but then I changed my mind. I am going to be evil. I am going to leave you guys hanging for a while.

I just thought I could give you guys a peak to this book.

REMEMBER WHAT I HAVE SAID. I AM NOT UPDATING FOR A WHILE. I WANTED TO BE EVIL AND GIVE YOU GUYS THE FIRST CHAPTER BUT NOT UPDATE FOR SOME TIME.
