I woke up somewhere over the ocean. This time I was on Erica's shoulder and her hands were laced around mine. I noticed Mike chatting with Alexander up front. Zoe was nowhere to be seen. Erica slightly stirred. I didn't want this moment to end, so I stayed put. Erica must have realized that I was on her shoulder so she didn't move. I slowly lifted my head up, easily allowing her to put her own shoulder down on mine.

"I'm not on truth serum, I just wanted to let you know this," she said softly, waking up. "I kind of like you."

"Ummmmm..." was all I could manage. "Really?"

"Absolutely."

I smiled wide, and hugged Erica. She recoiled at first, but then suddenly wrapped her own arms around me. We just sat there, hugging each other. The more we hugged, the warmer I felt. Erica dug her head deep into my chest and I closed my eyes, cherishing the moment. (HAHAHA #BERICA4LIFE)

"We're landing in about half an hour," Alexander announced, then noticed us hugging. He grinned widely and nodded approvingly. We stopped hugging, left each other and blushed deeply. Erica turned around, found her father staring at her and then blushed.

"Okay, then," Alexander said, obviously caught in the act. "I'll go and um.. talk to the guy up front."

Just then the plane descended. We all held on to our seats as the plane landed at Ronald Reagan International airport. Mike was the first person to get up and happily march to the exit. Zoe walked up right behind him, followed by Erica. I was the last in line.

We piled into the tiny cab and went back to Spy School.

It was a nice minivan. The driver and Alexander were up front, me and Erica in the middle and Mike and Zoe in the back.

"Thanks a lot for everything you've ever done to me, Erica Hale," I said, taking her hands. She looked at me confused. I shook my head, and she replied.

"Thank you for everything you have ever done to me, Benjamin Ripley," she said.
I looked into her ice blue eyes, only now the ice had melted and she had ocean blue eyes. They were a mix of confusion, sadness, happiness and total nothingness.

"Thank you for trusting me," she said. I felt her warmth as she pulled me into another hug.

Before we knew it, our lips were touching. It only lasted a couple of seconds, though. But it was longer than our first one.

"We're here!" Alexander announced. We got off the cab, and hundreds of students were waiting for us, holding banners and posters. Everyone was cheering for us, and I felt a sense of pride overwhelm me. We made our way through the crowd and went to our dorm rooms.

As soon as I entered my room, something happened. I wasn't sure, but a shock passed through me. I felt about a million emotions at the same time, and then felt like all the energy in the world was drained out of me. The world started spinning and the last thing I saw was my bed.

Erica's POV

I slowly made my way across the hallway to my dorm room. I turned the doorknob and quickly stepped into the room, making sure no one saw my room. All of a sudden, I felt a shock pass through me. My first instinct was to whip out my gun, but I felt paralyzed. I couldn't move, then a piercing pain flooded my brain. My blue bed was the last thing I saw before I blacked out.

Mike's POV

I hopped along, happy to be back at Spy School. My room was just opposite of Ben's. His room door was already closed, so I slowly opened mine, preparing myself to see dirty socks that I forgot to throw away. I suddenly felt like my arms fell off. I screamed, but then I couldn't hear my voice anymore. I couldn't feel any of my body parts and collapsed on to the floor. I tried calling for help, but the only thing saw was the floor. Then everything went black.

Zoe's POV

I wasn't in the mood for any celebration. Ben and Erica ruined my whole life. I thought that my future was going to be Ben, but I knew it would never happen. Erica admitting it made a thundercloud appear over me for eternity. I opened my door, saw my black and white zebra patterned bed and immediately blacked out.

Hang tight. The next chapter is going to be weird. I finally got to the plot!
