Chapter 11: Jeffrey

Okay, another note, when he says Kase it's pronounced like Case, and not a typo lol. This is what I imagine the mansion to look like if it were more old fashioned but i think a modern mansion would be cool too. One change to this one though, instead of being only 2 stories tall, it's 8, and a lot wider. I know that's very large for a house, and definitely very expensive, but it's a mansion and they're very, very, very rich so I think it works. Also, chapter numero eleven :)

Ben's POV:
"This is a lot to take in." He said.

"I understand sir. It was a lot for me too." I said and Erica nodded.

"Where are you 2 staying?" Mr. Williamson asked.

"A best western in the city." I answered politely, Erica staying silent.

"Well, as my son, you're both welcome to stay here of course."

"Thank you sir but we don't want to intrude."

"Nonsense. And there's no need for sir. Since dad seems a bit fast and forward at the moment, you can just call me Jeffrey for now."

"That makes sense. What do you think Kase?"

"What do you mean what do I think?" She giggled. "It's your family, your choice."

"And you mean the world to me. I obviously want to get to know my family better, but I don't want to make you uncomfortable meeting them all, we've only been dating like 4 months, I don't want to rush things.

"It won't make me uncomfortable and you've met my family; I'll go anywhere as long as you're there too." She took my hand with an adorable little smile.

"Alright then," I smiled at her. "If it wouldn't be to much trouble I think we'd like to stay here?" I asked the man gently.

"Absolutely." He said with a big grin. "Oliver?" He called and the boy walked back into the room. "Show them to the room next to yours on the 7th floor, will you?" He paused. "As long as you two are okay in the same room, that is."

"Yeah that's no problem at all, and I'd feel better if she was close to me. It'll make this huge change a lot easier." I said with a little smile at her, then to him.

"Wonderful. If you don't mind, for precautions sake I'm going to call a professional to come and test your DNA with Oliver's to be sure because many people have tried to scam us. I'm sure you're not but..." He trailed off.

"No problem at all, I completely understand."

"Splendid." He beamed.

We stood up and thanked him before following Oliver into an elevator in the lobby.

"So, you're my brother huh?" He asked with an amazed tone after a little while as we were walking into the elevator. He pushed the second highest button, which was the 5th floor.

"Yeah. Is that okay?"

He smiled.

"Not a problem at all. I've always wanted a brother. And I got a twin too? Awesome." He said excitedly.

"It's great that we're being showed to the room where we can stay, but we don't have our stuff." Erica noted. "Shouldn't we go get it from our hotel first?"

"Don't worry, Charles will handle that."

"Charles?" She asked.

"Yes, our head butler. He's a very nice man."

"Head butler?" I asked, faking amazed. "You have a butler? And a head butler? That means you have like, more than one of them!"

We obviously knew this already but it would seem strange if we weren't amazed by this considering we were supposed to be hardworking middle class citizens who wouldn't have the money for a staff.

He chuckled.

"I forgot you two were unfamiliar with this kind of thing." It wasn't rude or condescending, he was just making an observation. "We have a full staff."

"Wow."

"Yeah. Pretty cool right?"

"That's awesome. They're treated well though right?" I couldn't help but ask. "Sorry I just don't like anyone being treated poorly."

"Oh yeah, they're like part of the family. We love them all very much."

"That's good." I smiled.

"Yeah. But anyways, Charles will meet you in your room in a little while and will take your key cards so he can bring your stuff back here for you."

"Lovely." I nodded. "One thing though, we do have some weapons, you can leave them there if you want, just some common self-defense stuff because I'm very cautious in places that may be dangerous or that I'm unfamiliar with."

"Oh that's no problem at all, we have an armory here so a few guns or pepper spray or stuff like that is nothing compared to what we have here. Mostly just many different guns or swords, nothing like rocket launchers or anything that I know of."

"Sickkkkk."I said offering my hand to him for a high-five.

"Yeah." He said high-fiving me. "We have family dinner at 9, not mandatory but you're both more than welcome to come. Other than that, do whatever you want, Charles will set you up with credit cards linked to our accounts so you can buy whatever you want."

"That's not necessary-" I tried to politely argue when he cut me off.

"The whole family has some, even the staff have access to a couple of them, it's not an issue."

"Are you sure? It's really okay."

"Of course I am. Shoot I forgot I was giving you a little tour." He said as we stepped out of the elevator. "To the right is where the girls' rooms are. We have a sister named Charlotte and we also take care of her best friend Sofia who's parents died a while back, but she's like a sister to us too, and per her request only family is allowed to know she's not a direct relative. To the left of the stairs, which is where we're going, is our rooms. Honestly I don't know what's in all the rooms because there are so many. You kinda have to just explore."

"Wow. Any rooms off limits or anything?"

"Nothing off the top of my head honestly. On the 8th floor is just father's office stuff and his bedroom and stuff like that. 7th floor is the 4 rooms I just told you about. 6th is the huge family game room and like movie theatre area and more rooms. 5th is the indoor basketball court and indoor volleyball court. 4th is the indoor hockey rink, and indoor soccer field, and the 3rd floor is an indoor football field, and a tennis court. The kitchen, dining area, and staff housing take up much of the 2nd, and there are some other rooms with gods know what. The 1st floor has the entrance, and then a giant pool/waterpark area that has glass doors leading outside to where there's more stuff like that. Outside there's also everything the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors have, and a lot more too like a baseball diamond. There are 2 basement levels, the lower one is where the out of season cars are, the in season ones are in a huge garage located not far away from the house. The higher basement level has a track, the armory,  shooting range, workout room, and stuff like that. And obviously there are multiple bathrooms on each level."

"Wow."

"Yeah." He grinned. "It's a lot and I'm so thankful for all of it. I hate people that are ungrateful for what they have. So stupid. Like you have everything you could ever want and you're greedy and ungrateful too? Morons the lot of them." He rolled his eyes. "Sorry about that. Anyways, here's your room and I'll see you later on. Welcome to Williamson Manor Carson. And Kasey of course. We're all very happy to have you here. Have fun and if you want you can go say high to Char and Sof if you want."

"Perfect. Thanks so much man."

"Of course bro." He smiled as he left us to our room.

We walked in and my jaw dropped. The room was like 5 times the size of my room as a kid, and like 10 of my old Spy School dorm. It was even like 3 times as big as our current room. The bed was huge, and there was a little kitchen to the side, along with a massive closet and a huge tv and pretty much everything you could ask for and it even had a balcony.

"Wow." Erica laughed.

"Yeah."

We were walking around looking at everything when we heard a knock at the door.

"Hi." I said as we opened it.

"Hello sir, madam, I'm Charles. I'm here for your key cards so I can collect your stuff from the hotel."

"I'm Carson and this is Casey, no need for sir and madam, thank you." I smiled kindly as we pulled our cards out. "Here you go, and thank you. Room #196."

"Wonderful. See you in a bit." He said as he smiled and left.

We walked across the room and flopped on the bed.

"You remember everything Oliver said about the floors?" I asked, even though I knew she did.

"Yep, sounds like floor 8 is daddy's suite and first basement is fighting range type stuff, so that's probably where we find the most incriminating stuff."

"But we shouldn't poke around too much yet right? I mean we don't even have is full trust yet so we should just blend in and do what middle class young people would do if they found out they had full access to a huge mansion with everything they could ever imagine. Whatever we want. Just play and watch movies ad show how excited we are about all the awesome stuff here."

"You're just saying that because you want to play with all the fun new toys you have access to." Erica laughed. "But, you're not wrong, and so do I, so alright."

"Yesss!!!!!" I said tackling her in a hug and kiss, rolling onto her. "Thank youuu!!!!!!"

"You're literally a child." She giggled.

"Maybe but at least that means ours will already have an amazing friend and father." I teased back.

She rolled her eyes as she kissed me again.

"And mother." I added.

"Get off of me doofus." She laughed.

"What if I don't wanna?" I stuck my tongue out at her.

"Come on get up." She pushed me off with another laugh. "We probably have stuff we gotta do, even if it's just getting ready to work later."

I didn't move from the spot where she pushed me off of her to.

"But I don't wanna." I pouted. "I want cuddles."

Her face softened and she rolled her eyes with a little blush.

"You want cuddles?" She asked gently.

"I want cuddles." I nodded.

She nodded, motioning me toward her and holding her arms out.

I smiled and rested my head on her shoulder. She wrapped her arms around me and set her head on mine. She ran her hands through my hair slowly and I closed my eyes, smiling again.

"I love you baby." She whispered.

"I love you more." I whispered back.

"Not possible because I love you the most."

"Always a competition." I chuckled quietly.

"As long as I win it is, if not, it wasn't."

"Yeah I know your theory of 'If I'm not right neither is anyone else,' and of course, 'I'm always right.' I've been married to you for a while and I've loved and known you a lot longer."

"A while huh? Too long maybe?" She asked quietly.

"Not anywhere near long enough, and it never will be. I love you and I refuse to let you go. I promise we'll be together forever. Nothing will ever tear us apart."

I wish I had been right every day.

But life doesn't always go the way you want or plan.

And the differences are often... unfortunate.

Hehe betcha don't know the plot twist I've cooked up for the next couple parts and I betcha you will be surprised this time, all of you lol. I myself was surprised when I came up with the idea.
