Chapter 10: Twinsies

Okay! One note, when she says Cars, its not cars like vroom vroom car, its like Carson minus the on, so it sounds like Carsss when you say it. Think like snake hiss type sound. That was really unnecessarily long and stupid but here's the next chapter lol :)

Ben's POV:
After a decent amount of preparation, we were preparing to infiltrate the Williamson Mansion.

Once we were there, we'd have little earbuds built into our air-pods like Mike so they wouldn't suspect us if they searched us and found them. We weren't allowed to bring all of our weapons either. We each brought 2 guns and some extra bullets along with a taser and pepper spray. We were able to get away with this because of how dangerous Thompson was and whatever all.

We had these all packed into the suitcases we came with so we had all our stuff. We removed every trace of anything that gave away our previous identities.

Erica had her hair dyed a sandy brown that was almost a golden blond and got grayish contacts, making her almost look like one of our friends named Annabeth. I had one blue contact put in so that I'd have a green eye like him, Sofia, and his, soon to be my, father, and one blue to be like his, and again, soon my, mom. My hair we lightened and cut a couple shorter so it had the same look as his but was less messy as it had been, making it look even closer. We were both given natural enough looking spray tans and we looked like brand new people.

Given how fit, tan, and light haired we were, we looked a lot like the average visual stereotype of  surfers, but we had our differences, which is good because we wanna make sure we fit in but not too much that it was obvious we were trying to.

The story was we were separated at birth when she died. I bounced around in foster homes, until I turned 18, graduated high school, and started surfing and writing because it just felt right and like it was what I needed to do. I made a decent enough amount of money and lived on my own, never having found my permanent foster family. I'd been finishing up at a competition a month and a half ago when the doctor, or Cyrus, told me we needed to talk and that I needed to go home and meet my real family now that I'd grown up and become an adult. He told me where to find them and I spent time preparing and telling my girlfriend all about everything yada yada.

Mike had gone out on another date with Charlotte to keep that going, which Zoe didn't seem to be too thrilled about.

Zoe had her own job too. Get info on Sophia so she could become her friend more easily, since she seemed to be much more reasonable and cautious. Or at least she didn't fall in love with a guy the second he bumped into her. Which is impressive since that's like the first time besides my wife, (who was nicknamed literally 'Ice Queen' as you all know), that he didn't get the girl to like him immediately.

Long story short, we were all working very hard to make this a smooth and easy operation, since inevitably, the further on we go, the more things will go wrong. At least we can get a smooth start before it all crumbles to very dangerous and life threatening pieces.

Erica and I had also deleted all the security cam footage and moved everyone into new rooms so no one would see us all go in to one. Erica and I were together since our cover was together, but everyone else was spread out, Mike, Cyrus, and Zoe even moved to 3 other pretty nice hotels. This meant Erica and I were in one with Catherine, but on a different floor and way far away, Mike was at his own, and so was Cyrus, and Zoe. If they made us now it'd be because of an error later on, or something we all missed.

Me and Erica were going to drop the bomb around 9:30-9:45. So we were sitting around killing time.

"Hey Ben?"

"What's up babe?" I asked.

"Why do you think my mom was so pushy the other day?"

I thought for a second.

"Not sure really. My guess is she's worried what happened to her and your dad was happening to us. She probably thought we fell out of love or something and was worried we were getting divorced and wanted to help. I mean, you know how much she loves us being together."

She nodded a little but didn't say anything.

"You okay E?"

She was sitting on the bed, curled up in a little ball, so I got up from my chair at the desk and walked over. I sat next to her and made her look at me by gently moving her head towards me with my hand.

"What's on your mind baby?"

She didn't say anything but I could see in her eyes that something was wrong.

"We're not, right?" Her voice cracked.

"We're not what?"

"Getting divorced or falling out of love." She whispered.

"Oh Erica, come here."

I pulled her close and held her tight as she sniffled.

"Not in a billion years." I reassured her. "Never."

"Really?"

"You're not getting away from me. Never again." I said with a teasing smile.

"That's not very creative." She laughed a little as she sniffled again. "That's Percy's line."

"Well I got a laugh didn't I? Worked well enough I think."

She nodded with a small smile.

"So we're okay?" She asked.

"We're more than that; we're amazing. Erica I love you, and I promise I'm not letting you go. No matter what. Don't worry about it. Or us. I love you so much, and we even have a... kid... on the way."

"Don't remind me." She chuckled slightly. "I'm nervous as heck and still dreading telling everyone."

"It'll be okay. We're grown ups. We can handle it like adults."

"Mike sure didn't."

"That's just because Mike is mentally like 9 years old, if not younger."

She laughed and I smiled at her.

"See? It's gonna be fine. We have each other and that's all I can ask for." I said, placing a kiss on her forehead. "I love you."

"Alright doofus." She punched my shoulder. "I love you too."

"I know exactly what will make you feel better." I said with a smirk.

Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she tried to cover a light blush and a small smirk.

"Not like that genius. I meant it's time to go."

She shook her head with a small little laugh. She looked at me and laughed again.

"Don't look at me like that, you're the one that went there, Madam dirty mind."

"Wow that was real creative."

"Thank you. Now, are you ready to con an entire billionaire family and an evil organization?"

"Hell yeah." She took my hand as I helped her up. When she stood up she kissed me quickly and pulled me by the hand. "Let's go."

We grabbed our bags and tossed them into the back of the car we rented, a nice black Camaro with a sea green stripe. It was a little beat up, but we didn't mind it. If anything it'd make more sense that it wasn't in perfect condition since we weren't uber rich like they were, and had to work for our money.

We drove over as we sang with the radio and laughed.

When we got there I pulled up in front of a large gate that hadn't been closed when Mike came. Charlotte must have opened it for him.

I saw a little buzzer box thing that rich people have so I pushed it.

"State your business please."

"This is Carson Chase. I need to speak with Mr. Williamson. It's a... personal matter."

After a few seconds a different man spoke.

"This is he." He said sternly, but not in a mean way.

"Hello sir. I'm here with my girlfriend Kasey River. We need to talk about a... family thing. It's better if I tell you face to face, if that's alright?" I asked politely. (Some people may be wondering why not use Sasha and that's because I figure Spyder would have figured out it was Erica during Spy Ski School when Murray blew Ben's cover, and probably Erica's too.)

He paused.

"I suppose that's alright. I'll open the gate and you can pull into the driveway. My son Oliver will greet you at the door."

"Thank you sir."

"Not a problem." He said kindly.

The gates opened and we drove in.

I looked at Erica with a small smile.

"Showtime."

She giggled slightly.

I had our rings in their boxes in my bag so that if they were found, I could just say I was getting ready to propose.

We walked up to the door as Oliver opened it.

"Hello." I said. "This is my girlfriend Kasey. I'm Carson."

"Hello." He said with a smile. "Follow me please."

I nodded and we did as he said.

He led us through a bunch of large rooms, I honestly lost track. We stopped at what looked like the doors to an office.

Oliver knocked.

"Dad?"

"Come in."

Oliver opened the door for us and closed it after the two of us walked in.

"Hello Mr. Williamson."

"Hello young man. What can I do for you?"

"Can we sit down? It's a... very... heavy matter."

"Alright." He waved to a small couch and a couple chairs.

I sat on the couch, Erica right next to me. He sat in the chair nearest to me so we both shifted to be facing him.

"So, what seems to be the problem?"

As rehearsed, I tried to speak but didn't, and Erica took my hand.

"It's okay Cars."

I nodded and looked up at her with a small smile.

"So, sir, the thing is... I-I'm your... son." I said slowly and kinda quietly.

"You're what?" He asked.

"You're my dad. I never knew my mom, but I have this picture of her."

I pulled out a picture of Oliver's mother who died. We'd fabricated a letter in her handwriting onto the back of it and made sure it looked like 20+ years old.

"The doctor that helped her deliver had this picture that she gave him. He gave it to me when he realized who I was, and told me all about you and her."

I handed the photo to him.

"Dear Carson, my poor child. I fear I may die in labor, or may even be killed. I feel as though I am in grave danger. No one knows you exist except me and the doctors. I want you to know I decided to put you into foster care if I die for your own safety. I'm not sure what's going on, but things around here have been strange lately. People may use you and your brother Oliver against your father and make stories to get his money or hold power over him, putting you all in much danger. So with a heavy heart, I decided to seperate you. I'm so sorry, and I love you very much darling. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me, and I hope you get to meet your birth family when you are older. Your loving mother always, Scarlet Williamson." He read, his voice cracking at parts.

I noticed a few tears roll down his face.

He looked over at me.

"Is this true?" He asked. "Did you really get this from the doctor?"

I nodded and he did as well.

"I asked my mom and dad after I was given the letter, and they admitted they adopted me at a very young age. I am Carson Chase by adoption, but Carson Williamson by birth."

Badaboom, little bit of a shorter chapter, so I may, may, release a second if possible, but no promises.
