Ben POV
Today was the day where our first classes began. My schedule was self-preservation first and then Cryptology.
I went to my class, and the teacher was a young lady named Ms. Gins. She was a master of coding and had hacked into multiple terrorist computers and saved the world.
She was much better than our old, cranky professors back in spy school. I studied more often for the war and learned some fighting techniques. I also researched about the civil war in my computer, and how they used different strategies to win the battle. Like the battle of Antietam, the Battle of Gettysburg, and the battle of Shiloh.
I soon decided that we were going to plan to attack the Yankees by attacking them from the underground. But then I decided that I shouldn't. Just to be careful, I sent two best spies that are in their 7th year to look on the other side and see if what they're planning.
After all those classes, we studied some more, and got new weapons. This time, we were putting up a notch, using this sticky stuff called Glue balls. One of our professors introduced this for the war, and it was three times better than a paintball.
For example, if you shoot it at someone, it would become sticky, and the new invention worked out in a heap, we tested it on a person, and he couldn't get his weapon because of the stickiness.
We decided to attack tomorrow; we first needed the right equipment. And today, we were going to make new weapons and test them out.
Our weaponry teacher, Mr. Gibson, had gotten us some materials for the war, and we started to make things with our imagination.
I didn't make any weapons, because I wasn't good at building things. The students were mostly making guns, but they weren't harmful ones, but it made them get hurt still. The arms were made out of metal, but the bullets shot foam, and the power of the weapon wasn't as reliable as a standard gun.
We also tested chemicals. Dillian had also studied them and had made a chemical foam gun that made people get allergies, although it would wear off soon.
We were making a lot of these weapons, and I had a feeling that we might win this battle.
Zoe POV
"We need to make another weapon," Joel said. We were back at the cafeteria. The rebels had done a huge deal to us. We had failed the sneak attack.
Joel was one of my friends at the cafeteria. We usually hung out a lot, but since a war was going on, we were on tight schedules.
"What if we launch a paintball mortar at them?" A girl named Vivian said.
"It's too risky. The Yankees will catch up to us and finish us off. We need new weapons"
"And Im pretty darn sure that the Yankees are up to no good"another girl named Hannah replied.
"Its ok, general grants got the job," I replied.
"You mean ice queen? She's not focused on her work these days" "What do you mean?" I replied.
"She got a B- on her self-preservation class last semester," Hannah replied. "Really?" I said, utterly shocked. "But, Ericas, the best student here!" "Maybe shes got problems, never underestimate ice queen"
"Oh, ok," I looked at Erica. She was looking at a book and was eating salad as usual. But there was a hint of emotion in her face. Something was going on. Why wouldn't she tell me?
"Ok, we need more war preparations," Vivian said. "How about we make some weapons?"
"Wow, that's some good idea" I replied. "But what if the other teams doing the same idea?"
"Oh, they are" Hannah replied. "I saw them today, getting materials from the storage shed, and I was sure they were making new weapons. They even took some bleach, who would do that?"
"That's suspicious, why don't we then cut off their weapon storage and block it?" I said. "That's like the anaconda plan when the north captured ports in the civil war!" Hannah replied. "Nice tactic"
"And how about we also steal their weapons, so they don't have many?" "Im starting to like this, I like it a lot."
"Ok, let's sneak in tonight," I said. "And then take all their weapons"
"Were like John Brown!" Hannah replied.
"No, we're not gonna steal their weapons," Someone said. We turned around, to see Erica. She was still in her table and eating her salad. What she said was more of a demand than a sentence.
"Then what are we gonna do?" I said.
Erica didn't reply. She seemed cold as ever. Too cold, that a chill ran down my spine. "Is she ok? I think she has a syndrome or something," Vivian said.
"I heard that, "Erica said.
Vivian gulped.
"Then what are we gonna do Erica?" I said again more demandingly.
Erica said nothing.
"Alright, that's it, Im taking Erica's place as general" Erica still said nothing. "But didn't she gave us the first victory," Hannah replied.
"Yeah, she did," The others murmured. "But she's not doing anything right now, we need a counter-attack now, or its never"
"She has a point," Jawa replied.
Erica sighed. "Fine, you be in control" "She then continued to eat her salad.
"Ok, lets attack at night, at 1900 hours and then cut off their supply lines"
Ben POV
1200 hours
We had made all of our weapons, which included foam guns, chemical weapons, and harmless paint/smoke bombs.
We soon got fresh weapons, and stored it in our war storage pile. I even kept one of the foam guns in my room when there were emergencies.
We soon finished making and went back to class. I was now on my self-defense class.
I had learned some new things from the class. If Erica was here, even she would be impressed. Our self-defense teacher was Professor Gregson, and he taught us the pros way of self-defense.
He was really a pro. His teachings were three times better than the other original spy school, more criticizing.
Then I started to worry, what if someone attacks and takes all of the supplies that we had made?
Then, the 7th year spys came to us.
"Their gonna launch an attack at 1900 hours, we got to get ready"
"I think Im already sick of war," Someone said. "I know, but we have to fight, if we don't, they will ruin us, and then were toast"
"But why always night?"
"Get ready up, we're gonna have a big fight"
