A/N:
Me: I couldn't decide whether to name this chapter 'Dead or Alive' or 'Double Boom'
Roger: Why the hell would you want to name this chapter 'Double Boom'?
Me: I'm still not talking to you.

Chapter 30: Dead or Alive
Third Person's POV
Darkness fell upon a small town on the outskirts of Burgess, and the residents have all gone to bed. Unknowingly to them, as they slept, a dark cloud floated through the sky, covering the moon, and casting the town into darkness.
A figure stood on the cloud. His golden eyes swept across the town, and he broke into a smirk. "Go my beautiful nightmares," he said.
Terrifying horses made of black sand dispersed from behind him, and they galloped through the air as fast as lightning towards the children's bedroom. Soon, cries could be heard. They were all crying and screaming, and Pitch could feel the fear filling his veins. He smiled and called his nightmares back to him, and they all flew back to the North Pole.
He could feel strength and power coursed through his veins as he landed back in his lair. His smiled widened at the sight of his villainous army. They were all by his side, and were all getting ready for battle against those stupid agents.
Villain after villain lined up, holding up their guns, and preferred weapons. They had machine guns, helicopters, bombs, swords, and more. All stolen from their 'favourite' agencies.
"Are we ready?" Pitch asked, approaching a man in his late 40s. Callaghan. He was mas producing that Agent Hiro Hamada's invention. They had gotten the information from their 'spy'.
"Almost. We are still waiting for information from the Agents," he answered.
Pitch's gaze swept across the room, from his position on a metal gallery. He could see Hawkmoth with his akumas with his newly akumatised victims. All vicious and horrifying. He smiled. Recruiting Hawkmoth as one of the best decisions he had made.
Then, he saw two huge red boxes by the side of the lair, where the little Ice Queen and that wretched girl were locked in. Those two made excellent bait, and also, something to use against Frost and Moon.
That Ladybug girl was held in the box next to them. Who knows what Hawkmoth did to her.
"When will we be ready?"
"Tonight," Callaghan answered. Pitch smiled.
"Perfect."

Marinette sat against one of the walls of her so called 'prison cell'. She was curled up into a ball, hugging her knees, with her face down. She could feel tears welling up in her eyes as they threatened to spill.
'No, I must be strong. Adrien will come for me. He will,' she thought to herself.
She could remember just a few hours ago she had just woken up in a dark box like room, with no windows or even a door. She willed herself to remain calm, and wait for when Pitch or Hawkmoth would come to see them.
Sure enough, Hawkmoth had paid her a visit a few moments later. She glared at him, squinting in the light. Hawkmoth was Gabriel Agreste, her fashion role model was an evil villain.
"Ah... Ladybug, you're awake," he said. "Hope you're comfortable down there."
"What do you want Gabriel?" she hissed through gritted teeth.
"Oh the usual, your miraculous, that's all. The earrings," he said, holding out his hands.
"And as usual, I'm not going to give it to you," she answered, rolling her eyes.
"And you're about to transform back," he smirked. She suddenly realised that her last dot just blinked, and there was a flash of pink light, and she was back to being Marinette. Hawkmoth looked a little surprised to see her. He was not expecting it to be her.
"Marinette Dupen Cheng. Hm, never thought you would be brave enough to be Ladybug," he commented.
"And I never thought you would be Gabriel Agreste," she retorted as Tikki fell into her palms. "Well, now we know why you're never with Adrien."
"You seem to care for Adrien a little too much," he said.
"None of your business," Marinette answered, crossing her arms.
"Well, then, I'll just take these then," Hawkmoth said, his hand reached out, and two dark akumas flew from his hand, and they each took an earring from Marinette before she could do anything.
"No!" Marinette yelled. Tikki disappeared.
Hawkmoth's eyes gleamed as the akumas dropped the earrings onto his hand. He looked like Christmas came early for him that year. "Thank you so much for that. And now, you will be the one that will get Chat Noir to give me his miraculous," he smiled before sealing the box up again.
"I highly doubt that," Marinette whispered in an answer.
Now she sat in the cold box in silence. A part of her felt that it was hopeless, and that Hawkmoth had won. He had her miraculous. She felt angry that she had let him do that. She should have swung out of the box as soon as she got the chance. But then again, she would have transformed back once she was out of the box, and would have gotten capture all over again.
The other part of her was telling her that the others will come for her, and she would be rescued, and Chat will get her miraculous back.
"Stay positive Marinette," she told herself. "We will get out of here." But she wasn't she if it was dead or alive.

"Pitch's lair is a kind a huge cave dug into a huge mountain. There is only one entrance, which will be heavily guarded," Tooth said.
"Our plan is to have a group distract the villains at the front, while another team will make another entrance somewhere at the back, and infiltrate their base. Find Elsa and Marinette, and defeat Pitch once and for all," Mani said.
"Do we have a map of the place?" Jack asked.
"No, that's where the training comes in," Aster answered.
"You will be given ear communicators, and your usual gear. There will be two teams infiltrating the base. The first one will be Jack, Merida, Hiccup, Aster, Adrien and Flynn. You will be going off to find Elsa, and Ladybug," Adgar said.
"The second team will be Hiro and his team. They will enter the building, and hack into the system files and retrieve info for us, while taking out villains at the same time. The rest of you will help fight the villains from the front and into the base. Are we clear?" Idun continued.
"Yes mam!" yells thundered throughout the hall. The agents were all being brief on the plan to defeat Pitch once and for all.
"Pitch is to be captured at all cost," Mani said. "Dead, or alive."
Everyone nodded, knowing what had to be done.
"You have all been informed about what must be done, so now, go to it!" Adgar said, and the agents scrambled to get their jobs done.
Some of the agents went to the get the weapons ready, while others went to get their inventions ready like Hiro and his team. Others went to get the vehicles ready, and others went to last minute training. Most went to get their weapons ready though.
Jack stood at the front looking around. Many of the agents were all getting ready for the final battle. They were at war. Some might not survive. He just hoped the number of casualties would be at the minimum.
Hiro and his team, Tadashi, Baymax, Honey Lemon, Wasabi, GoGo, and Fred, were in their gear, looking rather awesome. They were in suits, and each had their own specialities. Honey Lemon was all about chemistry, Wasabi were lasers, Fred was super jump and fire, GoGo was going super-fast, Hiro had his micro-bots and was paired up with Baymax, and Tadashi had wings like Baymax, and he had this kind of like super vision mask, and he could turn invisible.
"So, what are the odds of us defeating Pitch?" Jack asked Hiccup.
"Uh... 50-50," he answered unsure. That was bad. When Hiccup is unsure, it was always bad
"Great," Jack grunted.
"Pitch has Hawkmoth, and Hawkmoth has his bunch of akuma minions. And we don't have Ladybug. And there has been a report from several dozen towns about children had woken up crying about the nightmares," Hiccup said, looking at Jack with a worried look. "He's growing stronger."
"That bastard," Jack growled. That was one of the things that Jack hated Pitch for.
"Our only shot at winning is to free Elsa and Ladybug," Hiccup continued.
"Then we better act fast," Jack answered.
"I'll go get everything ready," Hiccup said, before exiting the hall.
Jack scanned the room again. He was worried. Elsa was not with him. Pitch is spreading fear. They might not win the war. But the thing that bugged him the most that point was that there was a traitor amongst them. That traitor could tell Pitch of their whole plan.
Just then, something caught his eye. At the very end of the hall, there was a dark figure walking out of the door suspiciously. Traitor, was the first thing that came to his mind, and he quickly went off to follow the person.
*****
Elsa sat in dark box with the girl beside her. The girl was still unconscious lying on the floor. Elsa had shifted her into a more comfortable position.
Hours had passed since Hans had sealed the ceiling close, and Elsa was growing restless. There was nothing that she could do. Her powers were useless in there, and there was not a single opening in the box. The walls were absolutely solid.
She wondered when Jack and the others were coming for her. What was their plan? Were they going to come in sneakily, or bust themselves in? She just hoped that they would come soon.
Just then, she felt the girl shift beside her, then a groan was heard from her.
"Ow, my head," she said.
"Hey, you okay?" Elsa asked, looking her way, but only saw darkness.
"Why can't I see anything?" she asked. The girl had a sweet voice. Elsa could feel her sitting up against the wall next to her. "Where am I?"
"We're in a sort of prison box. There's no light here. It's sealed," Elsa answered.
"We have air right?" the girl asked. The thought never occurred to Elsa before.
"We should have. We've been in the room for hours, and I feel fine," Elsa answered. "Plus, we're bait, so we should be fine. They wouldn't want us dead."
"Oh, that makes sense."
*****
Jack followed the figure through the castle, corridor after corridor. He made sure to always be far enough for the figure to not suspect that it was being followed, but yet, not lose sight of it. Jack could not see who it was, the person was wearing a hood, and there wasn't much light.
They did not encounter anyone else as they walked along. Jack could tell that they were going towards the dungeons of the castle, down below underground. They walked down a spiral staircase, and were in a dark tunnel.
The figure's footsteps echoed quietly through the tunnel as it hurried down it. Jack's footsteps were absolutely silent as he followed.
Once, the figure stopped and looked back, and Jack immediately flew up to the ceiling of the tunnel. When the figure was sure that it was not being followed, it continued down the tunnel.
They were in the dungeons now. The dungeons were made of stone, and some of the metal bar doors were opened. The figure hurried into one of the cells, and as it did, Jack could see a trace of blond-white hair.
He stood outside the cell, and listened in. There was blue light emitting from inside. The traitor must be contacting Pitch to tell him about their plan. Then he heard the sound of that Pitch devil's voice.

"So are you a Royal?" Elsa asked the girl. She remembered that the girl had looked about 16 to 17 years old.
"Yeah, I am. Wait, how did you know about the Royals?" the girl asked, curious, but also had a tone of caution in her voice.
"I'm an agent and a trainer at the Moons."
"Moons? Like the boys agency Moons?"
"Yeah, sort of. I used to be a lone agent, something like that, but then I joined the guys," Elsa replied.
"Oh... How did you get captured?" the girl asked.
"I was on a mission with my gang, when I got captured by Pitch to be used as bait," Elsa grumbled.
"Yeah, me too," she replied. "But I was alone as a scout with my Mom. It wasn't fun to be captured by that nightmare."
"How long were you captured?" Elsa asked, curious. From her knowledge, there hadn't been any other Royals who had been captured.
"Um... maybe a month ago? Time is kinda hard to tell here," she said.
A month ago? That's when Pitch had escaped.
"What happened?" Elsa asked again.
"Well, I was ordered to go find Pitch, when he had escaped from the Moon's prison, and robbed the Royals, and scout his hideout, but he found me, and captured me, and I've been here ever since," she said quietly. Elsa could sense her fear. "It was horrible being here with all of these monsters."
Elsa reached out, and pulled the girl into a hug. "We'll be out of here soon. They're going to come for us."
"How do you know? I've been missing for a whole month, and no one has come for me yet," she said sadly.
"No one knew you were gone. I didn't even hear about it. Not even when the Royals came to Moon Island," Elsa muttered. How come no one was informed?
"Wait, what? What are you talking about?" the girl asked, curious and shocked. "What happened when I was gone?"
"Oh yeah, well, the Royals had to come to us Moons for help, and we gave them refuge on our training grounds, Moon Island. The situation had gotten worse, and we started training together, and remember that mission I told you, it was with Merida, Anna and Rapunzel," Elsa explained.
"Oh yeah! I know them! They were my friends. They're cool," she said. Elsa smiled. She had to agree with them. "By the way, I never got your name."
"I'm Elsa, Elsa Winters Moon."
"Moon?"
"Yeah, my Dad is Mani Moon," Elsa explained.
"Cool! I wish I could see you though," the girl said.
"When we get out, you will. What's your name?" Elsa asked.
*****
"What is it? What have the agents planned?"
"They are all going to go head on from the front door," the traitor said. Jack could not make out whose voice it was, because it echoed all around the room, but it was strangely familiar. All he could tell was that it was woman's voice.
"That sounds really rash of them."
"You know how Jack is. He wants to get to the girl as soon as possible," the traitor answered.
"Hm... Rashness is definitely a family trait, isn't it?" Pitch voice said.
Jack slowly creeped up to look into the cell quietly, and his eyes widened at who he saw looking into a communicator.
Then Pitch said her name.
*****
The girl said, "I'm Emma, Emma Underland Frost."
*****
Pitch's words rang through his ears.
"Ariana Frost."
