Blurb: What are Shifters? Shifters are people who posses the rare ability to turn into Pokemon.

Ruby, Flicker, Flash and Shimmer all attend a school for Shifters. However, an evil power wishes to control all Shifters, and attacks the school. The results is that the four are sent to another dimension.

Soon it becomes clear that the evil Shifter who attack their school is wreaking havoc across the Pokemon world, and in order to get home, they must defeat him. But it won't be easy. The Shifter has many powerful allies, many of them Shifters or Pokemon trainers.

As the four Shifters gain allies to aid them, they soon realize that they aren't just fighting to get home.

They're fighting to have a home to go back to.

Sneak Peek: Looking around, I spotted several large buildings, giving the place the appearance of a campus. Suddenly, I heard a high- pitched scream from behind me. I turned around and saw one of the buildings blazing with fire. The flames slowly started to spread from one building to the next, devouring everything in its path, until it appeared that I was standing in a ring of fire. Then slowly, the flame spread across the grass towards me. I turned to run, but I was completely surrounded in fire. I tried to scream for help, but the smoke from the fire scorched my throat, and I started coughing.

A sudden mist swirled around me, and the fire and smoke vanished, replaced by a new scene. My house, burned until only the frame was left, charred black from being consumed by flames. A heavy ran began to fall, and puddles quickly formed on the ground. The frame of the house groaned and swayed as a slight wind picked up, as if it couldn't decide whether it should fall or continue to battle the elements to remain upright.

I looked down in a puddle that had formed at my feet, then screamed. The girl looking back at me was not me. She had pure white hair and light brown eyes, while I had a deep black hair and bright, blue eyes. I back up and raced to a different puddle, recoiling in horror as I saw the same girl looking back at me.

"Go back, Shimmer," a voice whispered in my ear, "Go back, turn around. The path you see is not the path you seek. Should you continue, more horrors await. Beware, for flames dance in your wake."
