11. BY MY SIDE
"Ross, stop," Eva protested, repeatedly slapping the man's chest as he laid her down, but it wouldn't work as his power hunger body hovered over her. "Can we at least not do it here of all places!"
No matter how loudly she spoke to him, the words just went in one ear and out the other, not registering the woman's cries for help. He'd taken off his slacks at this point, forcefully pushing up her grey dress.
Terrell stayed in the houseboat's bathroom, partially not wanting to reveal himself and ruin their plan, but hearing Eva's cries for help broke him on the inside. There was no way stay hidden like a coward while she was struggling.
"No, Ross please, stop it!" Tears began to brew in her eyes as she cried for him to stop, kicking and slapping him away from her, but it seemed to only fuel him motivation.
Nonetheless, Terrell busted out from the bathroom, standing behind Ross. He'd grabbed the toilet tank lid from inside and swung it, striking him on his rib cage.
He fell over onto the ground and shut his eyes tightly, groaning in pain as he held onto his ribcage.
Terrell grabbed Eva's hand while she adjusted her dress, getting up and following Terrell as he lead her out of the boat. The two made their way to the door of the garage, realizing it was now locked.
"Where are the keys I gave you?" Eva stated in a panicked tone.
"Fuck," Terrell mumbled. "I left them inside."
It was evident that Eva was more panicked about this than Terrell, knowing all her privileges would be taken away had Ross been able to walk out of that houseboat alive.
"Are you fucking retarded?" She cried. "We're going to get screwed because of how stupid you are!"
"I'm stupid?" He knitted his brows together, furious at how she'd be making sure a bold accusation. "Who's the one who let him pass and was willing to open their legs for him?"
"I was stalling him you fucking idiot! Maybe if you didn't forget the keys, we wouldn't have to worry about him punishing us." Eva slapped his chest in a fit of anger, beginning to cry hysterically.
"That's it," She spoke, pacing around. "We're fucking screwed." Her hands made a waving motion which indicated 'finish'.
"We're not screwed, can you stop saying th-"
"No, you don't understand!" She stopped in her tracks, walking up to Terrell. "You don't understand, Terrell. He's going to get out of that boat, knock us out with the same tank lid you broke his ribcage with and probably make us into one of his experiments!" Her nostrils flared in obvious anger. "I'm sorry that you're used to being operated on daily – but I don't want that."
"No, no no," He shook his head. "You just don't want your privilege's to be taken away. That's why you're worried – for yourself."
Whilst the two were bickering, Ross had regained his strength and gotten off the ground, quietly whimpering in pain that surged from his rib cage. He'd open the closet door, retrieving a stun gun from the bottom of the bedroom closet. Ross barely managed to make it out behind the two, striking them with the gun from about a meter away.

Terrell awoke to find himself in a rounded and confided space – measuring only 5x5 square feet. His head began to ache, causing him to hold onto his temples. He hissed in pain, due to the burn marks embellished on each side. The burn marks were circular and large in shape, freshly marking the man's skin.
His gaze wandered around the space, not being familiarized by the setting. All around him was a grey, stone wall, made in a circular pattern. Once he looked above, he saw a wired lid placed on top of the entry – his face knitting itself in confusion.
His first priority was to escape, but he only found the grey stone surrounding him and not some secret door that would lead him out of here.
It didn't take too long until Eva's doe like eyes began to flutter, awaking her out of her deep sleep. Her brows were furrowed, more than they had been throughout this entire journey. The sun slight began to start peeking into the little chimney like space the two of them were held in, forcing her to wake up.
"W-What happened?" She groaned, finally getting up and looking around. Her eyes grew wider with each turn. "Oh fuck, this isn't happening." Eva mumbled to herself, panic beginning to set in.
"That son of a bitch locked us in here. There isn't any other way out than there." He pointed above, looking around for a door to magically appear. "We're screwed."
Eva's breathing started to get heavier with each thought, she grazed her desperate and sweaty palms against the wall, hoping to find a way out.
"We are never getting out," She stated. "You know how many people he's killed here by starvation?" Eva turned over to Terrell. "We're literally going to have to eat each other until one of us dies!"
Although the idea of eating him didn't sound too bad to her, Eva couldn't fathom the thought of becoming the meal in this situation – knowing Terrell wouldn't take a bold and slightly gross leap in order to survive, he'd love her too much to do that. If anything, he loved her too much to let her die of starvation, and Eva was planning to use that to her advantage.
"Shut up!" Terrell yelled. "We will get out of here, OK?" He walked up to her, cupping her face in his hands. "We will get out of here and we sure as Hell will get out of Springwater."
Eva could do nothing but nod at his sentiment, a few tears escaping her eyes and trickling down her face. She felt him pulling her in for a hug, resting her head on his chest as he stroked her back in a comforting manner.
Though the sun was beginning to become more prominent, the two of them embraced the warmth they were currently in, not wanting to let go and deal with the chilly breeze the weather would bring with itself.
