Watari POV:
When the directors asked me about our young CEO where he could have been, just like what he asked me to say, I just kept telling them that he went somewhere important. Also, I quickly followed his order to call on the managers of the artists of Arima Music Records so that they could already have a meeting for a concert he is planning to organize.
I was talking to Thomas when both of us saw that Kousei had just returned back. He was about to get near us when Spanish men suddenly went in front of him.
They're a bit scary for us and so, we quickly went near him.
"Kousei!" I called him.
Kousei looked at me and he looked back at the huge man before him.
"You're William Arima, am I correct?" he asked him.
"Yes. I'm William Arima. Why do you ask?" he asked him.
"I'm Jorge Cruz. My companion and I watched you in your concert in England. We really liked your way of playing the piano and asked people about you to where we can find you when we knew you're Japanese. Will you be willing to visit Spain and have a tour with us for a month? I'm a conductor in Spain," he told him.
He does have blue eyes and he's a bit taller than Kousei. "You're really a great pianist."
Kousei smiled and looked at us.
His companion, a man shorter than him shook hands with him, too and offered him the same thing.
He smiled at them and in our surprise, he refused them which shocked them. "I am not just a pianist. I'm an heir of huge business group, I have a pregnant wife to look after and I have a company to take care of. I'm not that free to roam all over the world for now but if you want, you can join a meeting with me. I'm planning to make a concert of my own to introduce our unknown artists here. If you still want me to play in your Spanish Orchestra, are you willing to play the concert here?"
Jorge gulped hard and smiled. "I guess we should follow your schedule. We just heard that this is where you work. We didn't know that you're the head of this company."
I quickly went beside him and asked Kousei, "Are you really willing to include them?"
He stared at me mischievously. "Of course! Why not, anyway?"
"Do you want me to prepare the meeting hall already?" I asked.
"Yes. I'll still keep talking to them while you prepare the meeting hall," he smiled at me.
As a best friend, his smile really captivates me. He's really a good man. Does Tsubaki feel the same thing with me?

(Time Skip)
Arima Kousei POV:
I was about to get the papers that were scattered in front of me inside my room when I noticed that Watari seemed very silent at the meeting we just held. I stood up from my seat and collected the papers on my hand to give it to him. "Watari?" I called him out and he suddenly said things I was actually shocked to hear from him.
"Wah??? Wah??? Jabluehartutsubaki." I laughed at him. He seemed half-asleep and I just woke him up. He could have been day dreaming about Tsubaki.
"Are you okay?" I asked while laughing.
He stared at me and blushed. "I'm sorry. I wasn't myself today," he apologized to me.
"No. It's okay. You look stressed. You can go home if you want to. It's pretty much dark out already and I have to go back home. They may start thinking I'm overworking myself. I'll definitely be shouted at by my father if I don't go home by eleven pm," I told him.
He yawned and faced me, "I guess you're right. Hey... you sure about this concert?"
I just smiled at him. "Yes. I'll tell father about what happened to me today anyway. You know how important the Music Company is to our family. I just learned at the huge meeting that the most known company of our corporation is the company I am holding. It's the first company my ancestors founded, then, the Nakiris founded a publishing company that joined them. Soon after they kept buying and making new companies until it grew larger and larger."
"Kousei, your uncle came here looking for you. It seems he also wanted to inform you that days from now, you would need to join him in a large meeting with the other Chief Executives of Nakiri Group and..." I cut Watari off. I know what he'll go and say anyway.
"I would be introduced to them... I know. I'm also a Nakiri, anyway," I sighed. Why do I even have a blood of business men, anyway? I sighed a bit.
"There'll be a business party at home soon. You need to be there, okay?" I told my best friend.
He smiled at me and we had a brotherly punch together. "You haven't really changed that much. You're still the same old Kousei who thinks about others before himself," he stared at my eyes and asked, "Heard you're expecting a baby. How excited are you to be a father?"
I chuckled a bit. "I guess I'm nervous. I don't want to repeat the mistakes of my father and grandfather. Grandpa notified me about it and asked me to be a good father when I visited him at the hospital," I told him.
Watari POV:
"Guess I have to go," I told him. I'm still thinking about Tsubaki. How will I be able to make their friendship go back, anyway? They seemed to be reduced to just acquaintances this past year after Tsubaki visited him in his new home. Suddenly, he approached me again and gave me a small box that seemed to have a watch inside.
"Are you engaged already?" he asked me with a hint of happiness evident in his eyes. His eyes were full of color now unlike the times he lost his mother, Kaori and waking up after he had an eleven-month coma.
"Yeah. We're engaged already. I already proposed, remember?" I told him.
He smiled brighter and let me go. "Make her happy, okay?" he told me.
I opened the box and looked at him when I found out that there's a very expensive silver watch inside the box. "W-wait... are you sure you're giving this to me? I'm just your Chief of Staff, remember?"
He moved back near his table and took his car keys. "Yes. It's an engagement gift. That maybe so but you're still my best friend, that's why I was angry with Lady Aina when she brought you in England when my life was still in danger. I wonder what could have happened to me if I wasn't able to do what my mom left for me to do," he told me.
"Thanks for this gift, Kousei," I told him. "Ah... Kousei... Should I bring Tsubaki with me in the Business Party?"
Kousei looked at me in surprise. He also clenched his fists. I could really feel that he's a bit worried. "She's still the sporty girl I know when we met. Watari... I guess... you really should let her join you. It's my birthday, after all."
I sighed...
"Guess I really should take her shopping. Will it be a formal party?" I asked him.
"Yes. It will be a formal party. The party will be held at the garden near the mansion inside the Arima Estate," he told me.
"Kousei... Are you worried that Tsubaki doesn't know how to act around you anymore?" I asked him.
He looked at me. "No. I'm worried that I don't know how to act around her anymore. It had been a long time that we haven't seen each other and my world changed drastically after I was separated from you. It was true that my father didn't hide me anymore and he took me away from my comfort zone. He opened up my world. My father put me in my right place and when I finally got on it, I know that there's a big distance between her and me, now. I want to close that gap in my birthday."
I understood his predicament and so, I assured him, "I'll bring her. I swear I will do my best to renew your friendship just like the old times."
I yawned and I stared at his eyes. He looks more stressed than I am. "I'll drive you," I offered which shocked him.
"W-What?" he asked me. "You don't need to! I can drive."
"Well, you should remember that you're working harder than me. I was simply your Chief of Staff. You know that I just lead all of the staff of our company, right?" I told him.
He handed me the car keys and I locked his office after we have taken the important things that we could have left out. Of course, we closed the lights and the curtains of the office before we left.
We both quickly arrived at the basement. He lead me into his car and I was at awe. I stared at Kousei in amazement. Being an heir really does have its perks. "A Gold Porsche?" I suddenly blurted.
He took the car keys on my right hand and told him, "I guess you just want to visit Kao-chan," he told me and went at the driver seat before me. I was stunned when the roof of the car opened up.
"Quickly. Seat down beside me. She'll be happy to see you," he told me. "Don't worry about me. I can still drive."
I grinned and opened the door. "Could we go to my home first? Let's fetch Tsubaki first. That way, you won't need to wait to renew your friendship much better."
He touched the steering wheel and started the engine after I got in. "Guess so. I really wanted to talk to her after she visited me."
