Tsubaki Sawabe POV:

Today's the day of his birthday...

I'm nervous...

Will I look good in front of all other people in his birthday which will probably have a lot of rich men and women?

My workmates had helped me find the best dress I could wear for his birthday.

By Watari's advise, he informed me that Kousei's birthday is also his coming of age birthday and a business party in which his father would introduce him to all the shareholders, high officials and board of council of Arima Group and Nakiri Group. They have already announced that Kousei would be the one to inherit the merged group when he's ready enough to take on that responsibility and when the two leaders of the two groups have already flattened out the first year of Arima-Nakiri Group. 

"You're so lucky," Rei told me. 

She's wearing a blue gown in front of me. "You're really going to be beautiful. He'll be surprised to see you in that dress."

I blushed. "Who are you talking about?"

"Who else but the man wearing the same ring as yours?" she told me. 

"Rei!!!" I really am blushing.

I'm wearing an orange long dress, a silver necklace and a bit long earrings which Rei gave me. She also straightened out my hair and put make up on me. Watari came in and stared at me. I also stared at him. He's wearing a black tuxedo and he wore a new watch. I really am shocked to see him wearing a very expensive watch. It's silver.

"Wa-Watari!!! Didn't I tell you not to buy expensive watches? We're saving money for our wedding!" I told him. 

Watari chuckled and held my face, "This? This is Kousei's gift. He gave it to me as an engagement gift since he wasn't able to attend our engagement."

I looked at the watch and sighed. Being a son of a rich man really has its perks. "So... He just gave it to you?"

"Yes," he told me.

"And you accepted it????" I was turning a bit angry until Rei finally stopped me from getting angry. 

"Kousei can do anything he wants, Tsubaki. He's rich, anyway," she told us. 

"Yeah, right."

"We just have to go. You're lucky that Akihito-san would drive us at the venue," Rei told me.

All three of us walked down their house where we met Kazuhiko-san and Akihito-san outside their house. 

Kousei's uncle grinned, "He called me and he's waiting for you to come."

Arima Kousei POV:

I am so nervous. I wish I don't mess up my speech. I have already arrived at our venue of my birthday inside the Arima Estate and I have noticed that there were a lot of vehicles parked at the Arima Garden House where my father decided to celebrate my birthday and a late coming of age party of mine where I'll be meeting all of the important people of Arima Group and Nakiri Group. When I came on the Garden House already, I sighed. The Garden House was a bit far from our house. It's actually at the west side of my home. I also learned that the Arima Mansion is actually at the center of Arima Estate. 

"Kousei," Kaori grinned at me. 

I stared at the people gathered inside. Most of them were all sitting silently and were all talking about business or politics. I'm a bit shocked to feel very heavy. I'm going to get suffocated due to pressure. 

"Are you alright?" she asked me. "Too nervous aren't you?"

She smiled at me. Her smile and her eyes truly lightens up my world. She prevents it from getting black and white.

"I'm sure that you'll be good," she assured me.

My wife and I quickly entered the garden. Like I expected, a lot of people quickly looked at me. They all had smiles and I really feel the pressure on me. My nervousness went away when I finally met my closest cousin, Kazuhiko and my uncle, Akihito.

"You look pale," Kazuhiko told me. "You're nervous. Too nervous are you?"

He looked at Kaori and exclaimed, "Wow!!! You really have a baby bump!"

Kaori blushed. "Our baby's going too  be a girl."

Uncle Akihito smiled at me, "So, what will be her name?"

"Grandpa wanted me to name her Yuuki," I informed him.

My father also came in along with my mother who really are looking majestic. I'm wearing a grey-silver coat while Kaori's wearing a blue gown. I was happily chatting with Kazuhiko while we we're drinking some wine when few people who introduced themselves as clients of Arima Group joined us.

I did let Kaori sit beside our table for her not to get too tired already. I introduced myself as William to them and when they heard it, they were truly happy that they met me. The sun is slowly setting already. Just like father, I had so many talks and chats with business people. I actually am happy that Kazuhiko helped me talk to them. A few minutes later, I found Watari and Tsubaki talking to Kaori at the table where I left her for a while. I'm glad that Kaori had company when I decided to talk with our guests.

"I told you that you'll be good," Kazuhiko told me. I smiled. I was about to go closer to my wife and childhood friends when in that instant, Yui appeared before me while Yangtze Lee suddenly hugged me from behind. Voltz was also wearing a big grin.

"You've grown a lot, huh?" Yui stared at me.

"Yui...," I smiled.

"Stop calling me Yui! My real name's Rei!" she told me. I laughed at her a bit and I believe, I am so happy to be surrounded by people who cares about me.

"It's not a rumor. It's true," Kazuhiko told her. I was busy chatting with them that I did not notice that Tsubaki, Watari and Kaori joined as well. I only just knew it when Kaori held me and hugged me so tight. All of them stared at the both of us and I'm getting so red.

"Kaori...," she seemed so sweet this past few days. A few minutes later, there were two old men who were holding a glass of wine who went beside us.

"Can we join?" he asked me.

I nodded. "Of course."

The two old men were smaller than me and also, they really seemed dignified. They actually look like my father and since I could feel that they wanted to talk business with me, I just let them join us. Kaori sighed and whispered to me, "Why should I stay? They're probably shareholders."

I just smiled at her. "I can see that."

I quickly introduced myself as William 'Kousei' Arima to them and both were glad that they approached me. "I'm William 'Kousei' Arima. Nice to meet you."

"I'm Mitazawa Goro. Like what you may be hypothesizing, yes, I am a shareholder. I was a politician before but I'm retired now. My son replaced me in politics. We heard that Takahiko's son is you. We're glad that we weren't wrong. Is she a wife of yours?" he asked me.

I stared at him more and noticed that he wears a dark blue coat. He does have very small eyes and he's very manly like my father.

"Yes. She's Arima Kaori. She was once Miyazono Kaori but after she married me, she's now Arima Kaori," I informed them.

"I'm Aikawa Shikadai. I'm not actually a shareholder. I'm Goro-san's assistant. He's actually having a small restaurant in one of your malls," he informed me. Kaori and I just smiled.

"It looks like you're expecting a baby. How old are you now?" Goro-san asked me.

"I'm 24 years old now and yeah... she's pregnant," I told them.

We talked a bit more until more guests, shareholders, and politicians talked to me. I had no choice but to talk to them. Kazuhiko stayed beside me while Watari stayed beside Tsubaki and my second cousins until it was finally time to go and sit in front of our guests.

Sawabe Tsubaki POV:

There's nothing I can do. I tried to talk to him privately many times in his birthday but I had no chance to actually get closer to him. He'd been roaming around the garden with Kaori and talking to a lot of strangers I don't know while Watari and I stayed behind and watch him. He doesn't even seem to notice how elegant the place is. The garden is filled with white roses and the large clubhouse where we all are contains so many tables adorned with white table cloths. There's also a buffet at the right side near the entrance side by side. I also noticed that there were three bartenders mixing expensive wines. "He seemed so far away from me, now," I told Watari. Maybe that's the reason why I lost interest with him and I fell for Watari.

Watari looked at me and smiled, "He's just busy right now."

"I can see that," I told him.

He kissed me after that. "I just hope Kousei saw you having your sweet time here."

I was shocked to see Emi Igawa with Aiza Takeshi with him. They both were wearing the same ring. "With the three of us who know each other since we're children, I can say you're the last couple who aren't married," Takeshi told us.

"We're going to marry each other soon," I blurted out. Then, while we we're busy talking together, the female host of the party finally introduced Kousei's father. Kousei's father had a speech first before him.

"Well, you know who I am. I'm Arima Takahiko, son of Ling Yuen Arima. He had passed down the group to me and handle it as a chairman. Thank you all for joining us in my son's late coming of age party. As you all know, we had a few family mishaps and problems but after a few years, it finally ended but it didn't stop there as we have to endure more than that. I am glad that my son survived and had a second life. I am also happy to know that my wife, Arima Saki is actually alive. I can say that there are already a few who was able to talk to him. Well, now, I call on my son to make a short speech to welcome you all before we finally open the buffet and eat," his speech ended with an applause.

His father quickly gave him the mic and he stood at the small wooden platform. "Good evening everyone. I'm William 'Kousei' Arima. My father had already said a lot of things about me and I shouldn't take this speech longer than I intend to. Well then, I want to say thank you to all shareholders and politicians who came here to see me. I am grateful to meet my fellow CEOs and directors that work with us, especially those who work with me in Arima Music Company. Thank you to my relatives and close family for making such a large party for my twenty-fourth birthday. Lastly, I want to express my joy towards God who helped me go through all the challenges I had successfully and may He help me pass new tests I'll be having in the future. Thank you!"

All of them clapped afterwards. After him, Nakiri Ryuu had his speech, too and everyone clapped as well. Watari put his hand over my shoulder and told me, "This is his new life. I hope you don't get so culture-shocked."

"I'm not. I'm happy that he's with the people who actually accepts him," I assured him. Kousei... You are a star I can't reach already.
