It was raining...white feathers.

Before her enemies could make any attacks, she murmured, "Earth's Extraction."

Then one immense transparent forest green sphere appeared capturing all of the Level Ds and Es. Levitating in mid air, it turned as it slightly glimmered. With guttural screeches, the vampires inside the sphere anatomies achingly throbbed as their life force was being deprived. Because of the complete extraction of their life force; the vampires turned into sand.

Haruhi sighed. She wasn't able to obtain any useful information from their memories, but she knew it was the same culprit who had turned the humans who she had enveloped in her Earth's Renewal before she had parted from the palace.

Then the vampiress glanced over to the light green hemisphere barrier (Earth's Embrace) she had erected to protect and heal the children who had been attacked by the low level vampires. With her own pace, she trotted over to it, placing her right hand on the barrier. It dispersed into green sparkles; then those sparkles too vanished.

A little girl who was embracing a doll suddenly asked, "are you an angel?"

"Angel?" Haruhi repeated in a questioning tone, somewhat flabbergasted.

"Mhmm!" She nodded. "When you appeared, there were white wings on your back and it was raining white feathers!"

"Yeah, only an angel can be so pretty and sparkly!" A young boy agreed.

"The shield we were in healed our wounds! I had a bobo on my knee from tripping, but now it's all better!" Another girl who couldn't be older than six spoke.

The children immediately encompassed her.

Haruhi held her right hand out to the children and a gentle green light flashed from it, erasing their memories.

The children looked around perplexed.

"Why are we here?"

"How did my dress get a tear?"

"Why is there blood on my shirt?"

"Why are your eyes so red? It looks like you were crying, hardly."

After the kids asked their interrogative sentences they had no answers to, they all decided to head back to the village.

Haruhi Maeda who was standing on top of a high tree branch out of the children's view wryly smiled. "Angel? I'm anything but that." Then a white feathered dove separated from her porcelain skinned body.

The dove flapped it's wings in front of her, awaiting orders.

"Watch over them. Make sure those kids return back to their village safely." The blue eyed vampiress instructed.

Receiving it's command, the dove flew above the children steadily going along with their pace and protectively watching over them.

She continued on her way until a black crow flew in front of her. 'Kazumo's familiar.' The vampiress thought.

The black familiar landed on her right shoulder and cuddled against her cheek.

Haruhi scratched under the crow's head, using her finger.

Then on the ground under her feet, blood red markings drew, forming an unique circle.

The circle then glowed and Haruhi with the crow on her shoulder vanished into thin air along with the one of a kind circular pattern.

When Haruhi opened her eyes, she saw a black haired pureblood sitting in front of a campfire.

Kazumo Aizawa, he had been the second person Saeko had recruited and was the older twin brother of Mirai Aizawa. He and Mirai had been born to human parents (like Saeko) and after their parent's deaths, the two had developed forbidden feelings for each other what was considered a sin in the book of humans.

Kazumo was a pureblood vampire who main job was to find details of there being other purebloods, reporting his findings and exterminating marked vampires along the way. One of the unique of abilities he possessed was teleportation via a blood red magical circle. He would only be able to teleport people and things within his magic circle to another magic circle of his that he or one of his familiars had set up. The red eyed vampire had previously used his crow to carry the spell for his magical circle to appear under Haruhi's feet so he could have teleported her.

Haruhi sat down besides him and greeted, "long time no see, Kazumo."

The male vampire was always traveling and rarely came back to the palace, unless Mirai said otherwise.

"... Mmm." He replied.

Haruhi noticed the group of low level vampires that were tied up behind him with their mouths bounded. "Marked ones?" She simply asked.

Kazumo nodded. "... Mmm."

"Then, I guess it's ok." She went only to a Level C vampire who looked at her with terror filled in his green eyes, clearly sensing their differences in power levels.

Why did he had to run into and be captured by the rarely seen purebloods?! It was like seeing a blue moon!

Using a syringe needle, she injected poison into the vampire's body, that instantly made him mute once it entered his bloodstream. Removing the white cloth that had been tied around his mouth, she placed a set of pill bottles in front of her.

Haruhi smiled with closed eyes. "You're going to help me do research."

Even though she was smiling so beautifully, the ghastly dark aura that was emitting from her body couldn't hoodwink him.

"Now, let's see. Which one should we start with?" Haruhi placed her right index finger under her chin in thought, looking at the different poisons. The brown haired vampiress was going to see if she could heal the new poisons that Tadamori had created with her spell, Earth's Healing. Earth's Healing as it's name implied was only focused on healing the physical body and in some cases the mind, itself. She was going to heal all of the poisons. avoiding the mute causing poison, because she already knew she could heal that and the blue eyed female really didn't desire to hear the voice of the vampire in front of her.

Her research began.

Kazumo looked at the female pureblood. He knew Haruhi could be truly cruel, especially to vampires who had done unforgivable deeds. The Level C who Haruhi had chosen, out of all the low level vampires he had captured had done the most diabolical actions of them all. Reaching into his bag, he pulled out a clean iron pot. His comrade should be finished around the time his was done making a quick night meal.

With time trickling by, he was done. "...Haruhi-san." He called, placing a bowl of hot vegetable soup in front of her along with a smaller bowl filled with hot white rice. Steam was coming from all two of them. After he finished cleaned it, he gave Haruhi a wooden spoon.

"Thank you."

"... Careful not to get scalded." Kazumo warned.

Even though Kazumo Aizawa had a handsomely cold and stoic face and was a pureblood of usually few words. He possessed a habit to meticulously look after others, especially if they were younger then him. He would make one feel as if they were a little child.

After they were done eating for pleasure, Kazumo waiting three seconds like always before talking informed, "... in a village nearby, might be another pureblood."

"Might?" Questioned Haruhi with a tilt of her head.

Kazumo's black eyebrows furrowed. He didn't know how to explain it for Haruhi, but he tried his best.

While he had been gathering data, he had stopped by a nearby village to rest in an inn and send a report back to the palace. When he was about to leave the next afternoon, he had helped a young girl who had been pushed onto the ground, because of her mother. No matter how Kazumo had looked at it the girl was human in and out from his enhanced senses, but once he caught a whiff of her blood, he had known the blonde girl in front of him possessed the blood of pureblood. So he thought there must have been some spell hindering her vampiress' powers and scent within her body. Since he could had sensed that Haruhi was nearby and she possessed an ability to remove spells casted by vampires of all kind, he had sent his crow and had teleported her. Plus if she was indeed a pureblood, he wasn't a vampire good with words and he had felt like female humans were petrified of him. He definitely didn't want to cause the girl a fright. What if she got sick from that?

"That is intriguing." Haruhi commented. She loved learning new things, especially if it was about The Tsukurite House, The Three Families, new spells, unique abilities of vampires, poisons, herbs and flowers. She got up, "please lead the way." Then she glanced at the low level vampires.

Once the vampires saw the pureblood vampiress gaze landed on them, all of them commenced to quiver. One even started to urinate, wetting his pants. Even though Haruhi hadn't killed the Level C who she had tested Tadamori's new poisons on, all of them could see that it was a fate worse then death to be played around by the brunette.

"Tada. He said he required more test subjects." She asserted then asked. "Can you please help him with that?"

"... Mmm." Kazumo agreed. A similar red magical circle appeared under the group of vampires and they were gone. "... Follow me." He started to trek, but suddenly stopped.

"What's the matter, Kazumo?" Haruhi asked.

"... Coat. You should wear one. It gets cold at nights."

"I don't thing I require o-"

Before Haruhi could finish her sentence, Kazumo sent her a look. When Kazumo had sent this same look to Saeko before, even she had no choice but to obey. And Kosuke didn't dare to take a nap around him, because Kazumo had constantly told the blue haired vampire before, that excessive sleep wasn't good for the body.

Haruhi immediately got her sky blue coat with a hood aligned with soft white fur from her mental storage space and put it on herself. The two drawstrings of her coat each had one white fur ball on it's end.

And as Kazumo had forewarned, it did get colder as they traipsed throughout the night.

There was a pleasant air of silence over them.

The double doors of the underground dungeon creaked open, allowing the moonlight to intrude on it's territory.

The sounds of footsteps vibrated against the walls, every time his feet made contact to the ground.

Sensing a familiar presence the jailed pureblood raised his head, the sides of his lips curling upwards. He had long been expecting this scientist to visit him. If he didn't come sooner or later, he wouldn't know how to handle the rage of that brat.

His movements came to a cessation in front of a cell and he lightly chuckled, "you truly are in a pitiful state."

"Sadistic as always I see." He remarked. "And this state I'm in, you know who's the cause."

Tadamori smiled, "yes, of course I know. Even far away, her Earth's Jail Extraction is keeping you in check. The results of her spell never cease to amaze me, but it seems like she's little soft on you, even though this move can't kill you." He opened the cell's door. "Try to escape."

The pureblood sneered in his mind. He knew the repercussions of trying to escape that blue eyed vampiress' spell. For he had already experienced it. The pureblood before him was truly a sadist. "From what you said, seems like she's gone away. Since you're missing her, you want to admire the work of her spells?"

Tadamori's hand stopped before the invisible barrier, not touching it whatsoever, drew his hand back and answered, "of course." Pulling out a wine like bottle and two glass cups from the inside pocket of his white lab coat, he uncorked the bottle and placed the cups on the ground.

The scent of blood immediately invaded the pureblood's nose, his eyes glowing crimson. "That's...."

"Yes, blood from the Mino Family, who's one of the Three Families." Tadamori poured red liquid into the glasses. He downed both of them.

This made the jailed pureblood furious and he said, "I heard the Mino's blood can stop cravings for the blood of the beloved one as long as they regularly drink it. Isn't it devastating that you can't have a drop of her blood?"

Tadamori smoothly retorted, "much better than someone who only consumes blood from Level Es to keep his sanity." He returned everything to his inside coat pocket and fished out a bottle of pills from his outside pocket and tossed it to the pureblood. "The pills as you have ordered." He spoke then left.

The jailed pureblood finally got want he wanted quite easily with the type of personality Tadamori possessed. Seemed like what he had said dealt damage.
