(Y/N): Yeah, I'm sure. Besides, you make it sound as if I'll be out there alone.

Kazuma: Yeah, you're right about that...

Even your reassurance put the brown haired teen at ease, although he quickly remembered about the fact that most of the team were practically helpless.

Upon reaching the main gate, your party stepped forward to be at the front of the crowd to face the next challenge. Meanwhile, it seems as if your ex-fiance decided to watch your group from behind the crowd.

Snow: Please be safe (Y/N)...!

Everyone in your team readied themselves and watched as the armored Dullahan stared angrily at your group. In fact, there was even a dark aura that surrounded his body as he practically growled and while the head revealed a glowing red eye.

Dullahan: What is wrong with you people?! WHY ARE YOU STILL BOMBARDING MY CASLTE?!?!

While Kazuma tried to reason with the general, your attention was immediately turned towards the red clad crimson demon. She let out a small, nervous laugh as she was the first to notice your annoyed look.

(Y/N): You're lucky that he was coming back, anyways...

Dullahan: That crimson demon has been blowing up castle for the past week!!

And now, Kazuma immediately looked at Megumin, who turned her head away, knowing that she was guilty as charged. The result was Kazuma pinching her cheeks and lecturing the girl about using her spells on the castle.

While all of this was happening, you decided to retreat into the crowd and met with Darkness, who stayed in the back to hide her presence to keep the dullahan distracted.

(Y/N): Luckily, he's too pissed off at Megumin to even care about your "death."

Darkness: That may be fortunate but I still worry for her safety.

(Y/N): I'm sure we can make it through this.

Darkness: By the way.. What weapon is that? I've never seen such a strange design.

She referred to the sheathed odachi that is currently strapped on your back.

(Y/N): It's a type of sword where I'm from.

Suddenly, everyone felt a massive pressure as the Dullahan released a wave of his aura across the land. Your body seemed to react as well since your eyes began to glow, Darkness took notice of this but kept her attention on the enemy.

Dullahan: I am Verdia and you will hear me out! Your fiery taunts offend but there is something else. None of you have come out seeking retribution for your ally's death!

(Y/N): *snicker* If only he knew!

Verdia: In life, I swore to be an upstanding knight and my opinion, that Crusader was an ideal knight! She used her body as a shield from my death curse and to abandon her-

The dullahan simply froze in his spot, attempting to speak as you and Darkness slowly made your way through the crowd.

Darkness: Gosh, I-I'm ideal? I'm so glad that you'd think so!

(Y/N): Ideal would be an understatement.

Verdia's eyes widened even further as you made your own appearance due to the fact that you were also another person that had supposedly perished. Yet...

Verdia: YOU'RE ALIVE?!?!?!?! How are you still... ALIVE?! AND YOU!!

You felt a glare in your direction as the general was stunned to see your presence.

Verdia: You... I was made aware that you were dead months ago!! Who?! How?!

(Y/N): Seems like someone gave you some misinformation, guess I'll have to thank them when I hunt down the rest of your friends.

You reached over your shoulder and immediately drew your blade for added effect to your words. The weapon in question is a black and white odachi that gave off an invisible aura that would slightly distort its appearance.

Aqua began to laugh at the fact that Darkness had been alive.

Aqua: *laughs* The silly old Dullahan didn't know I dispelled his curse! He's been waiting in his castle this whole time, waiting for us!

Verdia: I'm warning you! Cease your taunts at once or I will destroy every living thing in this town!

This left you a little agitated as you gripped your weapon and Aqua simply smirked as she readied her staff.

Aqua: Not after I get through with you!

Verdia: Do you honestly think the magic of a novice-

Aqua immediately began casting a holy spell.

Aqua: Turn undead!

The armor clad dullahan was enveloped in a bright light that practically dealt quite a bit of damage as it began rolling on the floor as if it were on fire.

Kazuma: Nice!

Meanwhile, your heart skipped a beat watching Aqua deal with your sworn enemy.

(Y/N): *in thought* These girls seem pretty cool when they're at an advantage like this.

The sounds of Veldia groaning as he struggled to get back on his feet, shocked everyone.

Aqua: No way! My spell didn't work on him!

Kazuma: It looked like it worked to me. He want " YAAAHH!" And everything!

(Y/N): He's a general for a reason, so he won't go down so easy.

Verdia: You there...! Are you not a novice?! I thought only low leveled asventurers lived here! And you even have HIM you as well.

(Y/N): Thought it was a nice place to settle down, have a family... Didn't work out so well when your band of generals arrived on that day.

Verdia: Hmm, yes... I was told that you had died during one of our experiments...! Seems the ones that survived the trials won't be alone anymore when I take you back!

Your friends looked at you as you felt your anger slowly rise.

(Y/N): ... Huh? They survived? The hell did you guys do to us?!

Verdia: *evil laughter* Why not try and get the answer out of me?

A sinister aura spread from underneath his feet and began to summon a wave of undead knights.

Verdia: Go fourth my undead knights! And show this lot a glimpse of hell!

Kazuma smirked and pointed at the dullahan with confidence.

Kazuma: See! Your spell did work! You freaked him out so bad that he's calling for backup!

Aqua nodded in reply and you simply shrugged at the thought until the enemy jumped in his spot.

Verdia: They are not backup! In battle, you do not need to fight the boss first! You fight minions first!

Aqua: Yeah, whatever! Sacred turn undead!

A pillar of light rose from beneath the general's feet and began to deal massive damage, forcing Verdia to cry out in pain once more.

Verdia: My eyes! Oh, my eyes! It burrrns!

Aqua: That spell didn't work either! My purification magic doesn't affect him at all!

(Y/N): I really don't want to repeat myself...!

Aqua: But (Y/N)! He isn't going down easily!

She began to shake you back and fourth while you had the slight thought of knocking her unconscious. Although, she is needed since her magic is vital for this... Makeshift battle.

Verdia: Enough games...! SLAUGHTER THEM ALL!

(Y/N): I've been waiting for this!

Kazuma's eyes widened as you readied yourself and noticed that your expression had drastically changed as the undead army began charging.

Kazuma: *in thought* How the hell can he look so excited?!

The adventurers behind your group began panicking and attempted to ready themselves for battle until...

Verdia: *evil laughter* Let me hear your screams of despair! I will enjo- HUH?!

There was something strange about the undead as their focus was more towards a certain blue haired goddess. It was quite odd since they weren't attempting to surround the defenses and...

Aqua: *panic screams* WHY ARE THEY AFTER ME?!?! I'M A GODDESS! A GODDESS!

Darknesa: Where are they going?! This isn't fair! Why does she have all of the fun?!

Kazuma: Maybe because she's a goddess and they're undead and they're... I don't know, attracted to her "godliness?"

You were practically frozen in your spot at the sight in front of you as Aqua led the horde away, screaming as she ran for her life.

(Y/N): I... Wha... *sigh* Where were you guys a few months ago...?

The rest clad arch wizard gave you a pat on your back as you lowered your guard.

Megumin: Sorry, this might be bringing something painful, huh?

(Y/N): A little but still... Kind of an odd way for this turn out.

Kazuma: Wait... Megumin, can you take out all of the dead guys in one shot?!

Megumin: Yeah, as long as they stay in a group!

The ground began to shake as Aqua ran towards the group for safety.

Aqua: KAZUMA!!! (Y/N)!!! HELP MEEE!!!

(Y/N): Hey, don't run this way!

Everyone practically ran away as Aqua drew the crowd of zombies toward them however, you were able to quickly disappear into the fleeing adventures while Kazuma ran into a completely different direction. Darkness remained in her spot, watching as everyone fled to the side.

With Aqua running towards the simple adventurer, you took the opportunity to charge towards Verdia with your sword drawn. Luckily, he was too busy watching Aqua running from the undead to notice your presence as you decided to attack.

(Y/N): Gotcha!

Unfortunately, your weapon was deflected by his armor as he turned back towards you.

Verdia: You can't be serious.

(Y/N): Erm... Maybe just a little.

You were quite shocked to realize that your weapon had no effect.

Verdia: I remember you being a lot stronger back then and with your arm fully intact!

(Y/N): *sigh* It really did affect me that bad.

Kazuma: (Y/N), you're going to want to run!

(Y/N): Hu- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!

Kazuma grabbed you by the arm and tossed you away, as hard as he could, while Aqua ran in the opposite direction. The undead knights were greeted by the sight of their master only for them to be surrounded by a familiar aura.

Megumin: EXPLOOOSION!!

The dullahan screamed for his undead life as he was caught in a massive explosion along with the rest of his underlings. After the explosion had ended, the ground itself was practically destroyed, leaving behind a crater and a rubble around the area.

You did your best to climb out of the rubble only to find a massive dust cloud blocking your view. Eventually, you fell back to your knees with your broken arm practically radiating massive amounts of pain.

(Y/N): * strained grunt* I think that broke my arm once more. Why did I have to go through a couple chapters like this..?

Darkness: Here, allow me to help you.

You felt Darkness assist you in lifting you back up onto your feet and throwing your good arm over her shoulders to help you walk.

Everyone began cheering for the arch wizard as she currently rode Kazuma's back in order to regroup with the others. It was quite amusing to hear them change their minds about her odd behavior but even you knew that it wasn't over.

Verdia: *evil laughter* Amusing! Yes even more amusing!

The armored general laughed as be stood proudly on his two feet while continuing to hold his head on hand.

Verdia: I did not think that my underlings could be slain so easily! Alright! My turn!

The moment he stepped forward, you and Darkness stood in his way to prevent him from attacking. Ignoring the pain in your arm, you continued to hold your blade, ready for a fight.

Verdia: I shall attend to each and every one of you personally!

Suddenly, the town's adventurers began to speak about the number one adventurer.

Kazuma: Who are they talking about?

Adventure: When the town's number one guy gets here, he can put this devil king's general down like nothing!

Other Adventurer: Let's keep this bastard busy until he shows!

A group of adventurers immediately charged towards the dullahan. This forced your eyes to widen as they ran past you and began to surround their enemy.

(Y/N): WAIT DON'T-

You felt Darkness stop you by your shoulder as she grew worried about the situation.

Verdia: You lot shall be the first to die!

He then tossed his head high into the air with and hovered in place as it faced down onto its body. A massive red eye was created in response as Verdia easily dodged everyone's attack. He countered their attacks as if it was nothing and eventually, the eye disappeared while the adventurers fell dead on the ground.

Catching his head, the dullahan laughed as he taunted everyone else.

Verdia: Next!

Even Darkness was unable to keep you back as you broke from her grip and charged forward with your odachi. Even Veldia was surprised that you were much faster than before and barely had the time to toss his head high into the air.

Darkness: (Y/N)!!

You clashed swords with Veldia as he barely blocked your strike before you jumped over him.

Verdia: Does this mean that you've been holding back?!

Kazuma and the others watched as you displayed an amazing amount of speed with your current battle.

Megumin: He's so fast! He must be in his Assassin class.

Meanwhile, both you and the dullahan were practically moving back and fourth as your weapons were meeting.

(Y/N): I'll be sure to send you back to hell, demon!

The two swords were struggling at a stalemate as you mustered the strength to push against his great sword.

Verdia: You're one to talk! I'm quite surprised that you've forgotten!

(Y/N): Like I give a damn!

You jumped back and ran forward directly into his downward swing. He expected the attack to land, however, you disappeared and reappeared above his body and delivered a heavy kick to the chest place to send him reeling back.

Verdia: Yes, that's it! Just give in!

For some unknown reason, the sling felt very uncomfortable as you stood your ground. Without realizing your own actions, you jerked your broken arm to snap the sling away and the makeshift cast quickly disintegrated as a sinister aura began to slowly rise from beneath your feet.

(Y/N): That's much better!

Verdia: Surely you must be feeling a little... Different!

(Y/N): I do... And there's nothing more than I want than to kick your ass!

Verdia: ... Huh?

The odachi in your hand quickly disappeared and your aura flashed for a bit as an odd looking staff appeared in your hands.

(Y/N): Battle Mage!

Another aura flashed as you began to feel a little different and the staff began to leak fire from both ends.

Darkness: You cut them down and you'll pay for that!!

Darkness appeared from behind you and leapt over you to deliver a powerful strike to the dullahan only for him to block the attack. The ground beneath them shook and the head quickly fell back towards the body, which he safety caught with one arm.

(Y/N): Back away, he's mine!

Verdia jumped back although you were ready and chased him as you leapt over Darkness to angle your body and twirl your body violently to create a trail of flames around body then strike down. You were able to land a blow with the staff and create a blast of fire as staggered backwards.

Darkness: No! I'm not going to-

Verdia was quick to retaliate however he focused his attention towards Darkness, only for you to shove her out of the way and deflect the powerful sword strike!

Verdia: Now this is exciting! Don't you feel it (Y/N)?!

(Y/N): Shut up!

You jabbed him in the chest with the stuff and sent yourself backwards for a backstep only for him to return.

Verdia: Back then we were given orders to capture your party! You were fit to become another of the demon king's general!

(Y/N): I said-

You lost focus as you violently swung the staff toward the dullahan, allowing him to dodge with ease while you practically saw red through your own eyes.

Verdia: Your heart is no longer your own, it was replaced with that of a legendary demon that had perished long ago!

Everything fell silent as you heard these words and completely missed your previous attack, giving an opening for the demon king's general to deliver the finishing blow.

Verdia: But alas! Seems it was pointless to waste it on you! Even in your enraged state, you were much weaker than before! Still... I must commend you for your efforts. (Y/N), The Bane of Demons.

All of the adventurers that were watching realized your true identity as they witnessed your fall.

Random Adventurer: No way... It really was him!

Kazuma: Come on, (Y/N)! Get up, man....!

You were lying on the floor as the general had given you a fatal injury to your torso.

Darkness: No...! (Y/N)!!!!!

Fueled by rage, the Crusader began a relentless assault on the general.

Aqua: This... This isn't right...!

Megumin: Let me down! I want to avenge him with whatever I have left!

Kazuma: Like hell you will! You used up all of your magic!

Unbeknownst to the party, a girl with white hair, tied into braids, pushed through the crowd of adventurers.

Snow: (Y/N)! Please don't die!!

Kazuma: Hey! Don't go out there!

Kazuma made an attempt to stop the mysterious girl from proceeding any further but it was of no use as he was shoved to the side with Megumin nearly falling off of his back.

Meanwhile, Darkness was sent falling back from the dullahan's attacks and landed beside your unresponsive body.

Darkness: I'm not going to stand down while there are innocent live at stake!

She turned her head to your body and a tear rolled down her cheek before turning back.

Darkness: I'll make sure that you-

Snow: STAY AWAY FROM HIM!!

The dullahan nearly jumped in place right as a set of hands practically pushed him away from his next victim.

Verdia: What the-?!?! Woah!!

Darkness: ... Eh?!

The white haired woman grabbed your body by the legs and began to effortlessly drag across the ground to return you to your group.

Megumin: Huh?! Y-you're...!

Snow then released her hold before practically bowing on her hands and knees in front of Aqua.

Snow: If you're a goddess then please save him!

Aqua: I-I well

Snow: Please save him!!! I know he's still alive!

Darkness quickly repositioned herself in front of the group to continue protecting everyone.

Darkness: I'll provide cover while you do so! Besides... This one knows what he's doing!

Kazuma: ... Say what now?!

Darkness'a breathing grew heavy as a small blush formed on her face.

Darknesz: Can't you tell? His attacks against (Y/N) were meant to go for the kill while his strikes against me were meant to shred my armor!

Kazuma: Oh brother...! Not when your friend is nearly dying!

Darkness: I can apologize to him once this is over but I can't help it Kazuma! He had practically been stripping away my armor while keep certain parts intact! He wishes to publicly shame me by leaving fleeting glimpses of my naked flesh between the cracks of my armor! You fiend! Standing there while plotting your next strike on my armor!

As Aqua was attempting to heal your wounds, Snow was practically mortified by Darkness's personality as she looked backwards.

Snow: What is wrong with you?! What have you done to force (Y/N) into your party?!

Kazuma: First answer, I really wish I could tell. Second of all, I... REALLY wish I could tell you! He just stuck around cause he enjoyed our company.

Darkness: Very well, hit me! Now!!

Kazuma: Will you quit being such a pervert! This isn't the time or place for that sort of crap!

Darkness: You... Called me a pervert?! Kazuma this isn't the time or place for your insults! Wait... Are you taking turns with me? What kind of delicious torments are you and this dullahan planning?!

Verdia: What?! We're not planning anything!!!

Meanwhile in an odd plane of existence

(Y/N): Oh... I remember this... Right after high school I picked up a bad smoking habit...! Damn, wonder why I did that? It stressed me out more than my actual job!

While the battle was taking place, you were in a void while your memories form the past were playing in front of you as if you were watching TV.

(Y/N): And this where my girlfriend broke up with me...! Man, I really turned into a mess back then.

As you sat on the invisible floor, more memories were fast forwarding until you reached a certain point in your life.

(Y/N): Debt... Smoking... Girlfriend left me... And I was behind on rent... Hitting rock bottom was a hell of a time...

You simply lied on your back as the projection seemed to follow your front side and hovered above your face.

(Y/N): Let's go back a bit... Ohhh, this is the last time I hung out with Kazuma! Man, he really seemed different back then when he was hung up on his childhood friend! Alright, let's take me forward again aaaand... Stop!

The screen immediately froze on a certain image of you standing in front of a stack of boxes that were taller than you.

(Y/N): ... Wow...

In this image, you were practically a different person as your appearance seemed very worn out.

(Y/N): I died right here... In that very spot...! I was working overtime to finish the last of my debt but... I just couldn't take it anymore.

As the clip played, your exhausted form mustered a lot of strength to kick the bottom of the box to vent your frustration. You fell to your hands and knees crying as if you had practically given up on life. The person was unaware that the boxes triggered a small chain reaction that forced the rest of the heavy boxes to fall over yourself and the clip practically turned to static...

(Y/N): *sniffle* Where the hell did my life go at the time?

As you closed your eyws another clip began to play as if your memories were speaking to you.

???: So why did you become an adventurer?

(Y/N) (Clip): I'd be lying if I said I wanted to take out the demon king... Truth be told, I just don't want to repeat the same mistakes I made in the past. I want to feel like my life has purpose rather than work some dead end job again...

???: Is that really what you want in life?

(Y/N) (Clip): I erm... I don't know... Thats a good question...

???: It's okay, (Y/N). I'm sure you'll find your answer.

You reopened your eyes to find the image of Snow as she placed her hand on yours while giving a warm smile.

(Y/N): Still couldn't find it, to this day... Just wish I wasn't so reckless back there.

Aqua: Then what are you waiting for?!?! GET BACK UP AND KEEP FIGHTING!

Aqua's booming voice startled you as a strange light began to surround your body.

(Y/N); The hell? I thought I was dead again!

Aqua: Not really! Almost but not close enough, now get out here and help us out! Kazuma has an idea!

You smirked as you stood up without any hesitation.

(Y/N): Alright, Alright I hear ya! You don't have to be so loud!

Back in the Other Side

Your eyes immediately shot wide open and were met with a crying Snow as she held your hand.

Snow: Y-you're alive!

(Y/N): According to the goddess I never died!

You felt danger nearby and acted on instinct as you immediately jumped back onto your feet.

Snow: You're going back out there?

(Y/N): Of course, its what adventurers do!

You gave a playful salute before vanishing into thin air.

Kazuma: DARKNESS!

Said blonde woman was practically taking a beating from the dullahan as he delivered multiple blows from his sword. Just as he set up for the final strike, the blonde knight disappeared in time and the undead knight only struck the ground.

Verdia: What?!

He looked to the side to find you like, with your cape still blowing from the burst of speed, holding an injured Darkness in your arms.

Darkness: I was nearly reachin-

(Y/N): Do not! Finish that sentence! You're welcome by the way...

The Crusader practically ruined the moment with her perversions and you practically let her fall to the ground despite her injuries. This allowed her to reach... Nevermind, let's just continue the story...!

Verdia: You should be-

(Y/N): Ya know, I'm a little tired of hearing that! Besides, I've never felt better in my life!

Kazuma: Welcome back to the land of the living! Create water!

A blast of water burst from Kazuma's hand, shooting towards the dullahan.

Dullahan: The hell are you doing?!

He side stepped the water blast, feeling confused but a little frightened by the liquid.

Kazuma: Bingo! Hit him with water!

You snapped your fingers in realization as you brought fourth fourth same staff from before however, it began to emit a light blue glow as water gently floated around the weapon. Even all of the mages nearby began conjuring water as well to force Verdia to carefully dodge the attacks.

Verdia: Stop this! I WILL HAVE YOUR HEADS FOR THIS!

(Y/N): Watch your toes, big guy!

You emerged from one of the nearby puddles and began a relentless assault on the general. You noticed his eyes twitching in frustration as he was panicking from the constant dodging.

(Y/N): For a second, I thought fire worked on you but I guess it might work better on a different type of undead!

Sticking the staff onto the ground, you vaulted forward from the staff and delivered a swift kick while bring the weapon back to jab with the water infusion.

(Y/N): Guess I should thank you and your friends for this power boost.

Verdia: Tch! You should have turned by now!

(Y/N): Guess I'm too stubborn to end up like one of you poor souls. Besides...!

You jumped back with a back flip to avoid another sword swipe that was aimed towards your feet and stuck itself on a rocky. On the other hand, you landed on the flat side of the blade and crouched down to his level.

(Y/N): I live in between life and death. I may have the heart of a demon but I'm always going to stay human no matter what. A little cheesy, I know but this what I want to hang onto for the rest of my life. Every shred of humanity that I have left...

Verdia felt something grab him by the ankle only for him to realize that he's being held by a weakened Crusader. The sky quickly darkened as Aqua began chanting for a high level spell as water began to flow into the sky.

Aqua: Sacred... Create water!!

Kazuma: Get out of there, you two!!!

Aqua: I'll show you for calling me useless, Kazuma!

(Y/N): I'm out!

Verdia: Oh... No...!

While the dullahan was trapped on the ground, you vanished out of sight as a massive pillar of water literally fell from the sky and doused everything in the area in a pool of water. Even the main gate was damaged by Aqua's powerful spell.

After a while, the spell ended leaving behind much larger puddles and a weakened general as he struggled to stand on his feet.

Verdia: What were you thinking?! Woman are you insane?!

Aqua simply pointed at her opponent and gave a simple command.

Aqua: Get him, Kazuma!

Kazuma: Now we've got him good, STEAL!

After a matter of moments, Kazuma casted his thief skill and quickly grabbed hold of something in particular...

Verdia: Um... Oh no...

The adventurer simply looked down at his prize and gave off one of his most sinister grins... Verdia's head.

Kazuma: Hey everyone! Let me show you how to play soccer!

Verdia: Soccer?!

Kazuma: Yeah! And you're gonna hate it!

He punted the head towards a random set of adventurers.

Kazuma: It's a game where you kick a ball around, except you don't use your hands!

The armored head was passed to an adventurer that played along and passed it around with a skillful kick while the next person was happy enough to juggle him with his heel.

Darkness: He's practically rendered harmless at this point. Let's finish the job and send him on his way!

Kazuma: Yeah, hey Aqua!

Aqua: Right!

A staff flew from the inside of town and landed in Aqua's hand as she took on her goddess form. She began casting a purification spell with her magic in order to defeat the boss.

Aqua: Sacred! Turn unde-

The clouds were ripped open from a sudden pressure as a lightning bolt seemed to emerge from the eye of the storm. Kazuma was quick to notice your descent as you held a metal pole with a massive spear head aimed towards the ground. In fact, the newly equipped weapon was charged with lightning as you fell to deliver the finishing blow.

Kazuma: WAIT! THIS IS OVERKI-

(Y/N): IMPULSE DIVE, BITCHES!!

Kazuma: Oh fu-

Within seconds, your descent was instantaneous and you hit the dullahan as if you were a lightning strike and caused a pillar of lightning to rise from the impact. You watched as the armor shattered to pieces and for the head to watch as your face took on a different expression. Behind you was a silhouette of a demon that followed your exact movments before Verdia was practically wiped from existence.

After a few more minutes, the lightning pillar ceased to a halt as you were the only remaining in the small crater.

(Y/N): *panting* One down...!

Kazuma: You didn't have to go that far!!! Aqua could have finished the job without anymore collateral damage!!

You removed your spear from the ground and allowed it to disappear into your magic storage before returning to your friend.

(Y/N): Sorry, this one was a little personal!

You let out a sigh of relief before resting on a fallen rock and watched the sun reveal itself from the separating clouds.

(Y/N): Hey, Kazuma... I... Have a bit of a confession to make.

Kazuma: Really? Can't save it for later?

(Y/N): I can but I want to say it now... Back then... Right after high school. I ended up making some bad decisions and starting hanging around the wrong crowd. After a bit of walking, the two of you arrived at the station of carriages.

After eating food and playing along with Aqua's drinking habits, you began to feel the intoxication set in as nearly everyone in the guild offered you a drink. You unknowingly accepted a lot of the drinks that were offered as the sun finished setting.

The last thing you remembered, before the night ended, was the fact that Darkness was the one to carry you back to the stables while Kazuma had to carry Aqua back as well.

(Y/N): Everythings... spinning...

Kazuma: Yep, kinda what happens when you drink as much as Aqua.

Said goddess was practically sleeping as he had to carry her via piggyback. He shuddered as Aqua was literally drooling on his shoulder.

Darkness: Did you at least enjoy yourself?

(Y/N): I- I don't *hic*... I don't remember... WOAH!

You thought that you were about to fall backwards and tightened your grip on the Crusader's shoulder.

Megumin: Documenting our time here in the mansion for future records!

Megumin: A strange shop opened up recently and the owner sold intriguing looking items! Not a lot of people seemed enthusiastic about his wares but I managed to purchase this!

Kazuma: A strange shop...? I'm kind of curious myself, you'll have to show tomorrow!

Megumin: Well, that's the thing... I can't seem to remember! I was excited about bringing this home that I might have forgotten *nervous laughter*

She closed the door , as she ran out and sighed before turning around for your face to be directly in front the camera.

The girl was startled by your sudden appearance and practically ran away from the scene.
